is to be expected and is working as intended
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:01 AM UTC · #27699
the pool hasnt died just lagged/hung up, so it holds the miner hostage
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:02 AM UTC · #27700
so what we seeing so far? 17-20 for the L3s today?
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:16 AM UTC · #27703
What time does the clock restart?
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:19 AM UTC · #27705
are you looking at the total earnings on the earnings page Just
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:25 AM UTC · #27714
and i was on another site for a bit so that profit isnt added to that 82
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:27 AM UTC · #27717
2 L3’s and I am on another pool doing 23 a day. Hopefully they have stronger uptime.
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:27 AM UTC · #27718
That and would be nice to see BTC back up around 4k.
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:29 AM UTC · #27721
Trying to figure out a better method for running in the house but I’m at a loss. Heat is the issue. Right now i’m pipping it to my laundry room ceiling exhaust fan... It’s temporary.
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:29 AM UTC · #27723
I purchased some tornado fans.. turnado.. something like that off of amazon.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:30 AM UTC · #27726
and the wattage to run the fan to vent it will cost ?? per month?
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:30 AM UTC · #27727
The fans cool the unit but how do you get rid of the exhaust?
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:30 AM UTC · #27728
Vornado 683 Medium Pedestal Whole Room Air Circulator Fan
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:30 AM UTC · #27729
that will move the air around?
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:31 AM UTC · #27732
Will move it.. in my buddies, the small fans did nothing but move hot hair. However with the larger vornados he was able to bring it down about 4 degrees
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:31 AM UTC · #27733
The ceiling fan is minimal, it’s the same fan you see in the bathroom.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:32 AM UTC · #27736
so no notice to miners at all
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:32 AM UTC · #27737
What are you doing with your 4 miners?
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:32 AM UTC · #27738
you have to get the hot air outside
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:32 AM UTC · #27739
For the room that isn’t that bad..And the miners came down a bit but they are running at 58/59 right now
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:32 AM UTC · #27740
vent to ceiling exhaust fan and out the ceiling exit
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:33 AM UTC · #27741
These won’t create a fire hazard will they? Piping that heat through the duct work in the house makes me a tad nervous.
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:33 AM UTC · #27742
I:0 O:57 I:0 O:65 is current... no fans in the room now
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:33 AM UTC · #27743
heat from a dryer would be much hotter
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:34 AM UTC · #27744
the vents are rated for 140 and up the fans are only 120
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:36 AM UTC · #27747
You change out your fan or using what the house had?
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:37 AM UTC · #27748
installed new industrial fan
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:37 AM UTC · #27749
ran it on the 220 i put the miners on
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:37 AM UTC · #27750
living in florida.. lol... hot hot hot... can’t wait for winter
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:38 AM UTC · #27751
Yeah, makes since for 4 miners. May be overkill for my one. I live in Charleston, SC. Cant wait for winter either.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:38 AM UTC · #27752
its 8 right now, soon to be 25 be end of month
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:38 AM UTC · #27754
i have 4 and 4 split on 2 accounts to do some testings on sites
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:39 AM UTC · #27755
I have 2 D3’s coming in the end of november.. hopefully still profitable
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:39 AM UTC · #27756
That’s an impressive set up. Is this a full time thing for you or a hobby?
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:40 AM UTC · #27757
they will pay for their electricy...maybe, but im betting only making 300-400 each profit a month on the D3s in nov.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:40 AM UTC · #27759
not sure you can do crypto full time with just 25, need a few hundred id guess to keep it going.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:41 AM UTC · #27761
with 2-3 batches of D3s between now and then
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:41 AM UTC · #27763
the X11 and dash is going to crap out.
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:41 AM UTC · #27764
I’m wondering if it’s smarting operating a pool site vs actually doing the mining, much like these guys running pro hash.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #27766
probably more testing with their miners than mining these days to optimize the pool
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #27767
Would be great if they were as profitable as nice hash
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #27768
Yea that’s what I would figure. I’m sure they are making decent money just with the hosting
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:43 AM UTC · #27769
last few times ive compared nicehash paid a bit less
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:43 AM UTC · #27771
Today on NH I was well above that
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #27773
and then you lose 3% to get it out
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #27774
Still I am making 25 per rig right now I can eat the 3%
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #27775
or 4% if you cant wait til you get like 450 bucks at a transfer
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:45 AM UTC · #27779
saying you were above the 12 dollar mark
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:45 AM UTC · #27781
25 on NH... out of the box settings
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:45 AM UTC · #27782
well this has had a lot of downtime the past 2 days
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:46 AM UTC · #27784
is that what NH is advertising on their site for a L3+
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:46 AM UTC · #27785
they have a menu of what they will pay for a day's hash from you
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #27786
Its what I am averaging now. Between 21 and 27... per rig
JustAnotherPLT · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #27787
Everyone only talks about these two (NH and PH) but is there any others that are decent?
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #27788
But even at a 3% take out I am still more profitable.
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #27789
JustAnothe4r if you go to whattomine you can see there are coins that are paying 44.00 a day for the speed out of our L3’s but you would need to mine it and dump it fast..
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #27790
I will be using one rig for that once the D3’s come in
50ShadesOfCrypto · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #27792
Playing around with high risk coins
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #27793
some of those coins lose value by half every other 5 mins.
hashingpro · Mon Sep 18, 2017 03:49 AM UTC · #27794
others you find you now have 200 dollars of and no one is buying them ever.
