anyone ever put Bitmain miner in a freezer?????
cryptotore · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:37 PM UTC · #27298
A freezer can never keep 800-1200W cool mate!
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:38 PM UTC · #27302
nah im not in the room they are in lol
cryptotore · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:38 PM UTC · #27304
Are you having heat or sound issues?
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:38 PM UTC · #27306
just A/C is having trouble keeping up now
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:39 PM UTC · #27308
Portable A/C’s + Central + window units
cryptotore · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:39 PM UTC · #27310
You shouldnt use A/C tbh, pump the air out if you are having issues
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:40 PM UTC · #27311
for this reason alone I might sell the L3+ for what I can get, still not decided
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:40 PM UTC · #27312
yeah I’m gonna rock more pumps out, I have a few but I think I need more lol
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:41 PM UTC · #27317
well the rooms mine are in I call "server rooms" im not in there except to hook more up or something lol
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:42 PM UTC · #27319
fuck me - just had last ten blocks I found orphaned
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:42 PM UTC · #27325
the coin I am on has had something suss goign on for a while
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:43 PM UTC · #27326
im over at litecoinpool until things get better here
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:43 PM UTC · #27327
it is almost as there are two networks
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:43 PM UTC · #27328
less money then when things are good here, but more money right now
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:43 PM UTC · #27330
yeah i wont even point my miners here
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:44 PM UTC · #27332
and this is one of the two coins that every time this place restarts they find a heap of these blocks on here and almost no other coins for some time
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:45 PM UTC · #27338
I love this place (even know im new here) I love what they do but its gotta be correct
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:45 PM UTC · #27339
just had ten blocks I found over the last three hours orphaned
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:45 PM UTC · #27340
I have ALOTTTTT of hashing power and more on order, I buy every time Bitmain allows (literally)
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:46 PM UTC · #27343
there has been indications for a while now that the network keeps splitting
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:46 PM UTC · #27344
ever mine LTC solo? not worth it?
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:47 PM UTC · #27347
that would suck hash power away from the main net
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:47 PM UTC · #27348
making it more profitable to mine there
stugots2 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:47 PM UTC · #27350
I was always worried I’d go long periods of time with no blocks found and the power bill comes in lol to be honest thats why I always stay safe with pools / regular payouts
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:54 PM UTC · #27351
well this will cost the pool miners quite a bit as well because this oin was being mined by the pool quite a bit
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:55 PM UTC · #27352
Blue I read your last post, about the merged mining being reduced since the forfeits
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 11:56 PM UTC · #27353
could that be the merged mining you were bing paid was merged + PPS and since they removed the PPS part its just merged mining profits like it should have been the past 3 weeks?
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:04 AM UTC · #27354
no beacause the solo merged mining you actually got the whole blocks if you found one - eg often found a leafcoin block at the same time as a florincoin, but hardly ever now
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:05 AM UTC · #27355
right now going tobe a bad day because just had ten florincoin blocks orphaned going back three hours
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:05 AM UTC · #27356
just sent them a support ticket suggesting they add some more nodes for this coin
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:07 AM UTC · #27358
but if I lost ten blocks then the pool just lost hundreds, will hurt the pool too
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:13 AM UTC · #27359
and it looks like another "bug" emerges - seems during this period of time the blocks got orphaned I still got paid for PPS mining credits on that coin
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:35 AM UTC · #27360
funny how the worker numbers keep going up and the hash power on scrypt stays the same
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:36 AM UTC · #27361
had all the miners stuck in computing shares and never reporting the full hashrate ever, was only giving credit for 5 of the 8 connected
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:36 AM UTC · #27362
my baikal cube shows prohashing pool as dead again.. sup with that?
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:36 AM UTC · #27364
is it still unstable like it was a couple of weeks/months ago? I just came back today!
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:37 AM UTC · #27368
guess I cant point my D3 here when it arrives then!
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:38 AM UTC · #27371
gratz you may have gotten it early enough to still make some ROI on it
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:39 AM UTC · #27372
Batch 1 of Bitmain products usually ROI. I only but batch 1 stuff
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:39 AM UTC · #27374
hope you get it setup and tuned and connected fast, im sure the profits will drop hourly as the rest of that batch goes online.
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:40 AM UTC · #27375
i’m pretty sure bitmain has been running them for a while now, should mean the diff wont rise too much?
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:40 AM UTC · #27376
Not sure if I should mine DASH directly or point it to nicehash!
hashingpro · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:40 AM UTC · #27377
i expect it to half in the next month at least.
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:42 AM UTC · #27378
I expect the diff to hit 2.000.000 pretty fast. But I dont think we will see 4.000.000 during the next 4 weeks
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:47 AM UTC · #27380
Guess I’ll point my D3 at coinmine instead!
stugots2 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:49 AM UTC · #27381
I have D3’s coming as well
stugots2 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:49 AM UTC · #27382
WANTED to point em here but..............
stugots2 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:49 AM UTC · #27385
honestly don’t have one now
stugots2 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:50 AM UTC · #27387
I have 44 on the way next week, and I have orders in EVERY one of the next batches
stugots2 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:51 AM UTC · #27388
Bitmain does run them ALOTTTTT so Diff won’t be too too crazy raised
stugots2 · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:52 AM UTC · #27389
L3’s are on what batch now? still making profits
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:53 AM UTC · #27390
Damn bro, wish I had money and space for 44 D3’s ^^
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:54 AM UTC · #27391
I’m considering nicehash tbh, but not sure if I can trust the numbers there. Seems unstable as well
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:58 AM UTC · #27392
try mining-dutch.nl, if yu can get used to their interface they seem pretty solid and payout every 15 minutes (if you want)
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 17, 2017 01:00 AM UTC · #27393
looks like about 650 GH of scrypt has gone elsewhere from here
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 01:04 AM UTC · #27394
ill try coinmine.pl again, they work very well
bluelemonadecrypto · Sun Sep 17, 2017 01:05 AM UTC · #27395
two of my miners just gt booted for noreason
cryptotore · Sun Sep 17, 2017 01:05 AM UTC · #27396
its because the pool went offline again probably
