one of the reasons to attack them is because of the pointing of so much hash power at small networks, thus queering the diff calcs
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 02:57 PM UTC · #24396
there are ways to capitilise on that
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 02:57 PM UTC · #24397
explain the shiat first before taking it... hell we might give donations to cover mechanicalproblems like this
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:00 PM UTC · #24398
anyway, as I said before, the strategy they use is a good one, but only while you are a limited size of the the overall networks you operate on, they now just have two much hash to not cause unintended consequences, they admit that in the latest update, seemed obvious to me first time I saw what they were doing
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:00 PM UTC · #24399
I was confused how extra users was going to work out for them
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:01 PM UTC · #24400
I saw today that when florincoin was under 50Ghash total on the network they point 192Ghash at it
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:01 PM UTC · #24401
in theory, the idea was to limit the connections to the smaller coins i beleive
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:02 PM UTC · #24403
but they failed, for a number of reaons, one being they did nottake account of the fixed miners,. and even without that they hammered the ones that appeaed profitable big time
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:02 PM UTC · #24404
doing that high hash shit on a little coin is an invitation to get DDOS’d in my opin0on, for a number of different reasons
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:03 PM UTC · #24405
we will see. for now i hope steve has been talking nonsense.. cause if he beleives it, hes probably gonna be jailed
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:03 PM UTC · #24406
secret service wire fraud for shiat like that
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:04 PM UTC · #24407
it would be the FBI there would it not?
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:04 PM UTC · #24408
In Oz they are poiss weak and you would have to rely on concumer laws or some shit
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:04 PM UTC · #24409
fbi is inter state, this is international, falsifying
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:04 PM UTC · #24410
and there is probably some technicality over who actually owns the coins
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:05 PM UTC · #24411
in swiss you are taxed on your coins...
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:05 PM UTC · #24412
so we better own them lol
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:06 PM UTC · #24413
well whatever, I only lost maybe $250 bucks, and a good little number because I thought I had worked out a little optimum niche with solo mining the right sized coin for my hash
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:07 PM UTC · #24421
not a bad fee for the service
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:08 PM UTC · #24424
at this point, i guess percentages are not important eh?
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:08 PM UTC · #24425
I was just mining a coin that gave me a couple fo blocks an hour plus merge mining and just seemed best bang for buck for the hash I had
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:09 PM UTC · #24426
most of my revenue was found blocks, no way I was getting 70% on top of found blocks
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:09 PM UTC · #24427
well.. we’ll see... i hope its just babylon
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:10 PM UTC · #24429
now I am solo mining Gamecredits, less blocks but bigger value, see how it goes, but seriously think I will just do my own swapping server for my own use as there will niches unavailable to bigger players
TTo314 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:11 PM UTC · #24430
please up the fee for btc transactions
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:13 PM UTC · #24431
one thing I notice is that on a given day Bitcoinconnect is 65% of the mined coins
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:13 PM UTC · #24432
Solo mining game credits gets more profit then letting this pool choose? (I mean when the pool is actually running good)
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:14 PM UTC · #24433
depends on your hash, but I only started with them today to see how it goes, interesting so far I have found 4 blocks, all by one L3+ out of 4 - they lucky machine, or golden child as we call it
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:15 PM UTC · #24434
whats a block worth? how many L3’s you running?
tumbolia · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:16 PM UTC · #24436
just got L3+ delivered yesterday and connected up last night. I had a Baikal Giant+ 2000 (x11) running for about a week (first miner ever) and saw decent daily return (for a newbie) but needed the power supply for the L3+ temporarily. Thought the L3+ would do better but it’s not at all. Is there optimal setting for the D3+ on PH? I already have d=131072 in place as I read earlier. Just surprised how slow profit is on D3+ compared to the Baikal. Or did I come in at a weird time....heh
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:16 PM UTC · #24437
wow and you found 4 just today already??
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:17 PM UTC · #24438
I got 28 L3’s connected and lwiring a panel to add more at yet another location lol
bluelemonadecrypto · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:17 PM UTC · #24439
on litecoinpool.org you will make maybe 24 hours 0.34352227 LTC 17.95 USD
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:18 PM UTC · #24442
made more here (not the way its running here NOW but say a week ago ish)
deltasniper73 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:45 PM UTC · #24443
with the total network hashrate, diff and price of coin and L3+ will be making around $24 before electricity. another batch of L3+ will be delivered to end users in the next two weeks so diff will do up again, will be around 1.2m by thanksgiving. We are at the end of the new miner cycle, scrypt will be around 0.5-1C per mhs by end of november
deltasniper73 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #24444
hdol your coin and get ready for the L5 next year. let the cycle start again
lilbob · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:52 PM UTC · #24445
ya i seriously doubt it was a soloing isuue from the data gathered
hashingpro · Thu Sep 14, 2017 03:54 PM UTC · #24446
Stu, Ive checked zpool, NH and LCP, and PH has had the best prices for the past week now. and I think PH has been running better the past week or so than the past month.
lhfx21 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:15 PM UTC · #24447
Hi, Earnings are going down? my miners constantly are using the backup pool, is it something wrong?
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:17 PM UTC · #24449
wow, See I have not been here a month to know
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:17 PM UTC · #24450
but I can tell yiu the last 3 days have been worse then the last 2 weeks ive been here
lhfx21 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #24451
Some times the PH site have No valid shares yet
deltasniper73 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #24453
yes profits are down and will continue to go down as more hash gets added to the network (and will continue to go down). the crash in crypto has only added fuel to the fire.
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:26 PM UTC · #24454
dying to know when the price of the L3 SPIKED like that, is there a diff drop coming? or price spike? or????
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:27 PM UTC · #24455
I think the issues here are issues here, Steve has mentioned that already, not much to do with the crash
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:31 PM UTC · #24456
Is anyone else experiencing problems with the network, I have four miners with "No valid shares yet...."?
lhfx21 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:31 PM UTC · #24457
I have the same as you @Alex
lhfx21 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:32 PM UTC · #24458
No valid shares yet constantly
lhfx21 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:32 PM UTC · #24459
and the miner moves to backup pool
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #24460
yeah i now have the same
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #24461
22 miners with no Valids lol
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #24462
The hash rate on PH reflects that
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #24463
might move to my ALT pool for today
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:36 PM UTC · #24464
Any suggestions on a good ALT pool, I set mine to litecoinpool thinking that it wouldn’t be used much
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:36 PM UTC · #24467
i actually like multipool.us BUT they make you withdraw in the coin you mined so have 200 wallets ready lol
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:37 PM UTC · #24468
I’ll take a look it will give me something to do
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #24469
Alex got any old equipment you wanna sell?
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #24470
want to tinker and try something but can’t get ahold of anything
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #24471
Not at the moment, I’m just getting a purpose built room to house them all in. I’ve just had the AC installed.
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #24472
what types of riggs you running?
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #24473
Just L3+’s at the moment, got a few D3’s coming for fomo
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #24474
a 20a Breaker can hold 3 L3+’s safely just so you know (been there) D3’s are basically the same
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #24475
I got 80A available, but after that, if there is a after that I will need to find somewhere else
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:49 PM UTC · #24476
4 20A breakers dedicated?
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #24477
yes, I have the AC running off another board
Alex · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:01 PM UTC · #24478
Someone I know has a associate who works at Texas instruments stugots2 if this is any help to your tinkering?
stugots2 · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #24480
i need some gear to tinker with forst
garvonious · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #24481
Does anyone know why I am only receiving payouts via LTC? I have my settings for BTC, ETH and LTC. All thresholds have been hit, but only paid out in LTC thus far
hashingpro · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:16 PM UTC · #24483
if go to coinbase they have lag in btc network transmissions
hashingpro · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:16 PM UTC · #24485
probably just backlogged with the market crash/sell off
hashingpro · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:17 PM UTC · #24486
ltc down 40% from last week, 25 % for the day
garvonious · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:17 PM UTC · #24487
yeah, tis a bloody bloody week
hashingpro · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:18 PM UTC · #24488
time to put on the long sleeve shirts and pants and prepare to dig in for the long haul.
ArjunaX · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:18 PM UTC · #24489
anyone else getting massive amounts of "no valid shares" errors? My earnings are in the toilet today. Looking at a $15 day compared to yesterdays $25.
hashingpro · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:19 PM UTC · #24490
yeah no vlaid shares all over the place today.
hashingpro · Thu Sep 14, 2017 05:19 PM UTC · #24491
worthless to hash here right now if not getting even half the credits
