so i think you actually get pretty good payouts except its all manual
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:04 AM UTC · #22379
so you have to convert the coins on an exchange which kind of blows
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:05 AM UTC · #22380
so its multipool mining and you get those coins you mine
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:05 AM UTC · #22381
and then you get to try and offload the werid coins that only move 10 per day.
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:06 AM UTC · #22382
yea thats the way i understood it i was using yobit to sell seemed to work okay
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:06 AM UTC · #22383
but it tells you what exchanges have the highest prices currently and everything
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:07 AM UTC · #22384
yeah but for oddball coins I end up sending stuff over to polo to wallet it and exchange it there
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:07 AM UTC · #22385
their token system is wierd, the withdraw limit sucks, and prices are inflated so they make higher fees.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:08 AM UTC · #22386
rather stick to coins I can easily move when needed.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:08 AM UTC · #22388
so on nicehash....Payouts for balances greater than or equal to 0.1 BTC to external wallet 3%
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:09 AM UTC · #22389
so each time you get OVER $460 or whatever you can transfer .1 BTC out and only pay 3% on it.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:09 AM UTC · #22390
otherwise you pay 4% to move that value less than .1 BTC
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:10 AM UTC · #22392
so if you are only mining 20 dollars a day, you would have to failover to that site....23 days worth of hashing before you could access the bitcoins at only 3% fee, otherwise anytime along the way to .1, you are paying 4% feee to withdraw.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:11 AM UTC · #22393
like I said, NH has hidden fees, they also charge a fee per day to move that days earned rewards into your wallet on their site for storage.
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:12 AM UTC · #22394
so what over % do you think it comes out to?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:13 AM UTC · #22396
ill have to wait until i get the data from all 3 sites to make a baseline and how far the other 2 are over it % wise.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:14 AM UTC · #22397
if you are willing to wait, there is a 3% fee just to move the coins out of NH.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:14 AM UTC · #22398
so whatever your daily profit over there is, you have to subtract that 3, or you arent calculating the profits, you are figuring the gross, not the net.
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:15 AM UTC · #22399
does the earnings tab on PH already show fees subtracted or no?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:16 AM UTC · #22400
yes i believe the fees are subtracted as we go
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:16 AM UTC · #22401
those numbers should be your numbers, if I understnad it correctly, anyone know otherwise want to chime in?
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:18 AM UTC · #22402
thats kind of how i figured it would work but wasnt sure.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:19 AM UTC · #22403
right at the top of their help page... Since Prohashing is a pay per share pool, you will be credited immediately for all valid work. Our fee is a flat 4.99% to use all our features including an unlimited number of payout coins, and we do not charge any additional fees*. Our pool fee covers the exchange fees, exchange withdrawal fees, and payout fees; unlike other pools, we do not deduct any other fees (such as exchange fees) from your earnings before charging the pool fee. Prohashing's live profitability (what the average customer actually receives) is always displayed at the top of the site.
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:20 AM UTC · #22404
so it seems like what you see is what you get basically which is nice.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:21 AM UTC · #22405
yeah one thing everyone can agree on, the brothers here are very transparent.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:21 AM UTC · #22406
if there is an issue they seem to own it, explain it, and work it out
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:21 AM UTC · #22407
and they comp when there are issues or errors, most other places would be like, too bad, sorry.
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:22 AM UTC · #22408
yea from the little time that ive been here and the reading ive done they seem like pretty good dudes
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:22 AM UTC · #22409
and LOVE LOVE LOVE constant updates
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:22 AM UTC · #22410
the daily this is were we are, this is what we are working on, this is future plans, Love that insight
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:24 AM UTC · #22411
for sure i only wish i could be paid in ripple though but its not too hard to sell a little and buy some
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:25 AM UTC · #22412
yeah im sure there arent ANY markets at all to trade...BTC or LTC for ripple.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:27 AM UTC · #22414
must be frosty outside tonight, ceiling exhaust fan at the miner site just turned off, and it runs until its under 80 at the ceiling vent.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:27 AM UTC · #22415
yeah sorry had sarcasm font on.
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:28 AM UTC · #22416
jeez man you sound like you have quite the set up im just running one miner and then buying coins
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:28 AM UTC · #22417
what you think of ripple anyways?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:29 AM UTC · #22418
oh ive heard good things., it might be the next IT one to pop up.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:29 AM UTC · #22419
doesnt have the public knowledge of it yet compared to the other name dropping coins.
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:29 AM UTC · #22420
i can only hope lol that and LTC are my two biggest holdings which isnt saying very much though
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:30 AM UTC · #22421
which other ones do you mean?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:30 AM UTC · #22422
when people talk about crypto on the news, the hit on 3 major coins.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:30 AM UTC · #22423
that i've mostly heard, bit, lite, and ether
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:31 AM UTC · #22424
for some reason those 3 grouped together come off short, sweet, and easy to say on broadcasts or whatever
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:31 AM UTC · #22425
but LCT is like 5th or 7th coin?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:31 AM UTC · #22426
for market share/trading whichever daily
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:32 AM UTC · #22427
so there are other coins between 1 and 5 the missing 2, most people dont cover them in news, or other broadcasts.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:32 AM UTC · #22428
so list the top 7 coins by market cap or trading volume per day
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:33 AM UTC · #22430
yea its typically those and BCH and ripple in type 5
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:34 AM UTC · #22432
or just residue over the BIG SPLIT
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:34 AM UTC · #22433
that i honestly couldnt tell you
mvcatt · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:38 AM UTC · #22434
anyways good chatting with you man gotta hit the hay for work
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:39 AM UTC · #22435
yep yep, catch you tomorrow
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:39 AM UTC · #22436
and just in time for bed, site looks offline
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:39 AM UTC · #22437
So XRP is pretty decent, I thought it was going to do well at .03, then jumped to like .35 or so. I think ZCASH could be a solid choice in the long run
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:39 AM UTC · #22438
And I used nicehash for a few months and still do for GPU mining, but I think prohash is quite a bit better
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:39 AM UTC · #22439
i may try and pickup some GAME
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:40 AM UTC · #22440
GAME has some good potential too
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:40 AM UTC · #22442
if all the console people got in and accepted it and made it a standard value
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:40 AM UTC · #22443
gamers are generally more technically advanced than others, and from personal experience, selling accounts is sketchy
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:40 AM UTC · #22444
so you could buy it and trade it and earn it as tokens in games or something
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:41 AM UTC · #22445
Yeah, I think that’s the long term plan, basically have it replace game currencies to have a standard
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:41 AM UTC · #22446
you have the MS ONE online, and the PS online and the nintendo online...make them all 1 coin vlaued store
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #22447
mom buys kids a 50$ game credit coupon, they enter the code, redeem the points
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #22448
Yeah, and steam, League, Overwatch, etc.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #22449
spend them on whichever console
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #22451
they make a steamcoin? that seems like it would take off if through value
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:42 AM UTC · #22452
Yeah, it has a ton of potential, there is a Fund manager that’s big into BTC, ZCASH, and Game
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:43 AM UTC · #22453
I don’t think they do, but the games on steam could use GAME
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:43 AM UTC · #22454
So just curious, with your fan setup, how many miners are you running?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:43 AM UTC · #22455
9 currently, at a third of capacity
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #22456
another batch coming in the next 2 weeks or so.
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:44 AM UTC · #22457
nice! that’s pretty ballin - I had 5 going, the heat was insane
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:45 AM UTC · #22462
I’m just running 5 L3+ and then GPU mining zcash
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:45 AM UTC · #22463
the heat from 5 was pretty crazy, couldn’t imagine the heat from 18
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:46 AM UTC · #22464
i was tell the guys last night I ran a X-11 rig for 1 year then shut it down, no profits, sold it and was down 2500 on the project
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:46 AM UTC · #22466
3 years later when the coins spiked, sold them for 20K profit
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #22468
The L3+ are doing pretty well, but are the D3’s more profitable?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:47 AM UTC · #22469
depends when they come in, i see that profitiblity dropping like a stone.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #22470
if I can roi in 2-3 months ill take it
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #22471
plan is to have all the machines paid off that i paid into them by end of the year, and then profit next year.
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #22472
oh yeah, since I ordered my L3+’s to when I got them, the ROI was like 8-10 days to mid-upper 20’s
hashingpro · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:48 AM UTC · #22473
i stil have to pay myself back for spending this much in the first place.
Harrison · Fri Sep 08, 2017 03:49 AM UTC · #22475
Took a gamble a took out a loan on my 401k for those 5 miners
