Steve Sokolowski · · #35722

they actually don’t reveal the exact limit

Harrison · · #35723

Steve, thanks for taking care of everything! I know you guys are working extremely hard to keep things running efficiently. Is there anything the community can do to help with these issues?

Steve Sokolowski · · #35724

I guess because then it makes it easier for the botnet operators when the attacks come

dog1965 · · #35725

@Steve Sokolowski :  they should maybe there cheating you.

Steve Sokolowski · · #35726

they aren’t

gemohler · · #35727

dog: What did you -do- helping start google??

Steve Sokolowski · · #35728

we’ve never had any bandwidth problems

dog1965 · · #35729

your paying for it they should tell you.

Steve Sokolowski · · #35730

harrison, there isn’t anything you can do, unfortunately - at this point, all we need is to wait for the lawyer to reply

dog1965 · · #35731

@Steve Sokolowski :  your paying for it they should tell you.

Steve Sokolowski · · #35732

we are in a holding mode waiting for the lawyer because we aren’t willing to make any investments until we hear from him

gemohler · · #35733

how does an isp cheat you? Do they turn the dial on the internet faucet?

Steve Sokolowski · · #35734

I know it’s at least 22gbps, which was the last attack

dog1965 · · #35735

@Steve Sokolowski :  I agree with that people are greedy and shrood.

Steve Sokolowski · · #35736

they’ve mitigated attacks above 600gbps though, so it has to be at least that

dog1965 · · #35737

dog1965 wrote: @Steve Sokolowski :  I agree with that people are greedy and shrood.
ah ddos attacks.

gemohler · · #35738

shrewd

Harrison · · #35739

Kk, if there ever is just let us know, I’m sure there are some pretty bright people in the group more than happy to help get things running smoothly (although a DDOS attach is obviously something difficult)

dog1965 · · #35740

@gemohler :  sorry I dont have my glasses I am old.

gemohler · · #35741

i can spell without lookin’. *kidding m8*

Harrison · · #35742

Hashing, you may have already seen it, but it sounds like they are going to pay us what we should have made plus an additional 15% on top for there being an issue, so not just 15% on what we had earned

gemohler · · #35743

in fact, in icu after a stroke with only one working hand too, is dont use shift key much in ’fraid.

dog1965 · · #35744

@gemohler :  lol your better than me.

hashingpro · · #35745

so 215%..good luck with that

gemohler · · #35746

geez, 1.30 in an hour with two l3+ boxes???

gemohler · · #35747

that cant be...right?

dog1965 · · #35748

@gemohler :  huh thats it ????

hashingpro · · #35749

no i think it will be 15%, so 50-15 = still missing 35%

gemohler · · #35750

notes say..

gemohler · · #35751

17.77 3pm 19.07 4pm

Harrison · · #35752

Yup, pretty much whatever it should have been, so average per MH times MH - what we were paid times 1.15 I think

gemohler · · #35753

Scrypt: 987.26 MH/s (2)

DuncanBoaz · · #35754

@Harrison :  That is correct according to Steve.

dog1965 · · #35755

how do you set up a firewall that can tell if its a real miner or a ddos attach miners do pretty much the same thing. Thats A hard one.

Harrison · · #35756

So I’m at 30 or so now, when I would normally be at like 70 or so, so I would imagine I would get (70-30)*1.15 - obviously that simplifies it, but I think that’s why they plan

dog1965 · · #35757

dam it attack sorry

DuncanBoaz · · #35758

He stated the formula is to be what we were supposed to get according for our shares + 15% as with their policies.

Harrison · · #35759

Yeah, so I’m thinking all of us affected should end up alright for the day

gemohler · · #35760

$31/day between -2- l3+ boxes...shit

dog1965 · · #35761

I made $15.00 and the day is not over yet.

dog1965 · · #35762

I only have one box.

Harrison · · #35763

I just know Hashingpro is pretty active in here, so I want to make sure he knows we aren’t getting screwed today lol

gemohler · · #35764

15 for 1 l3+

gemohler · · #35765

/

gemohler · · #35766

?

dog1965 · · #35767

@Harrison :  no direspect I hope he is happy.

DuncanBoaz · · #35768

@dog1965 :  Since you were set at a lesser d=, you remained unaffected.

dog1965 · · #35769

correct.

Harrison · · #35770

None taken lol, yeah I think your settings bypassed the issue lol

dog1965 · · #35771

@DuncanBoaz :  yep.

DuncanBoaz · · #35772

On a different not. I seem to have an issue

DuncanBoaz · · #35773

note*

dog1965 · · #35774

Harrison wrote: None taken lol, yeah I think your settings bypassed the issue lol
it did.

Harrison · · #35775

But yeah, 5 running and $30 for the day so far, had $17 for over 12 hours of work earlier, so it appears the issue is fixed, but a lot of missing money for the day

dog1965 · · #35776

DuncanBoaz wrote: On a different not. I seem to have an issue
wich is ?

dog1965 · · #35777

shich is ?

DuncanBoaz · · #35778

I just went to reset it manually. I hope it corrects it. One of my L3+’s is running 2500 on one fan and 6250 on the other.

DuncanBoaz · · #35779

which is obnoxiously loud compared to the other’s all running ~<4000

dog1965 · · #35780

DuncanBoaz wrote: I just went to reset it manually. I hope it corrects it. One of my L3+’s is running 2500 on one fan and 6250 on the other.
let it keep going it will speed up it has to settle.

DuncanBoaz · · #35781

Oh and I burned the roof of my mouth something fierce on my Pork Roast, but there’s nothing anyone can do about that genius action.

DuncanBoaz · · #35782

@dog1965 :  That’s after 12+ hours of running. It’s pretty static....

dog1965 · · #35783

DuncanBoaz wrote: Oh and I burned the roof of my mouth something fierce on my Pork Roast, but there’s nothing anyone can do about that genius action.
oooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuccccccchhhhhhhhh!!!!!

sawczyszyn2554 · · #35784

@DuncanBoaz :  those fan differences dont seem correct.. compared to my machiens

DuncanBoaz · · #35785

F1 - 2100 F2- 6200 even after disconnecting the fan and the miner and letting it reset.

Jules9 · · #35786

are we good now

DuncanBoaz · · #35787

@sawczyszyn2554 :  They don’t seem correct to me either. According to all my others miners hahahaha. Hence the issue

gemohler · · #35788

im at 3500/2500 front/back on both

Jules9 · · #35789

are we good now

dog1965 · · #35790

DuncanBoaz wrote: F1 - 2100 F2- 6200 even after disconnecting the fan and the miner and letting it reset.
you just started they all do that let it run for ten minutes and see.

DuncanBoaz · · #35791

All my other machines are running fine with fan speeds. Just one doing the 2100/6200

Jules9 · · #35792

is prob fixed

DuncanBoaz · · #35793

@Jules9 :  We will all be appropriately compensated. Adjusted earnings + 15% for all those affected.

sawczyszyn2554 · · #35794

my fans are running about at the same RMPs

sawczyszyn2554 · · #35795

RPMs*

Jules9 · · #35796

nice

dog1965 · · #35797

Fan1 Fan2 Speed (r/min) 4,590 2,790 my fan speeds

DuncanBoaz · · #35798

So no. No one has any input on correcting it?

gemohler · · #35799

your shit too hot?

gemohler · · #35800

if not, is it really broken?

dog1965 · · #35801

its 80 degress in my appartment.

DuncanBoaz · · #35802

@gemohler :  No. It’s just obnoxiously loud compare to all the rest of my machines.

dog1965 · · #35803

chips are 65c

DuncanBoaz · · #35804

and we all know how loud these Dyson’s are hahahahahaha

dog1965 · · #35805

DuncanBoaz wrote: and we all know how loud these Dyson’s are hahahahahaha
lol lol lol

dog1965 · · #35806

you cant make air coinditioning blocks to much condensation its a nice thought though.

DuncanBoaz · · #35807

Manually setting the Fan Speed in the GUI doesn’t seem to be changing the 6k reading on F2. What a pain in the ear.

gemohler · · #35808

sounds like a broken controller, no longer limits current

dog1965 · · #35809

@gemohler :  @gemohler :  good way to burn fan connectors and your pci-e connectors.

DuncanBoaz · · #35810

@gemohler :  Any tips? Bitmain is closed next week....so no support there. Nor do I really want to take it offline. ROI is a race against time.

dog1965 · · #35811

gemohler wrote: sounds like a broken controller, no longer limits current
but tyhen it would niot hash it would shut down if it cant detect rpm speed on both fans.

dog1965 · · #35812

then

dog1965 · · #35813

@DuncanBoaz :  does it keep shutting down on you.

dog1965 · · #35814

DuncanBoaz wrote: Manually setting the Fan Speed in the GUI doesn’t seem to be changing the 6k reading on F2. What a pain in the ear.
shut it down umplug fan two start it back up with one fan to see what fan to reads if it reads 6000 with no fan then your controller is bad you can also switch fan plugs to see also.

dog1965 · · #35815

if one of your fans are bad or going bad it does whacky shit!!!!

dog1965 · · #35816

also feel the fan connectors see if there hot ?\

DuncanBoaz · · #35817

@dog1965 :  Only shuts down when I tell it too. It’s hashing right along.

dog1965 · · #35818

if everything is well restore the miner do not keep settings.

dog1965 · · #35819

DuncanBoaz wrote: @dog1965 :  Only shuts down when I tell it too. It’s hashing right along.
feel fan connectors are they hot ???

dog1965 · · #35820

mine is dusty I have to clean it out ?

gemohler · · #35821

thatshould not affect it
