cryptotore · · #14192

Time to drive to x11 mining location I guess.. bah :p

cryptotore · · #14193

bbl

Maxumark · · #14194

Seems like, but you are not. L3+s good here

cryptotore · · #14195

I have earned a total of 44$ today, regular mining should be around 48$

Maxumark · · #14196

I run a fleet of L3+ on here and there is no place better

cryptotore · · #14197

and we got 1 hrs left of the day :p

cryptotore · · #14198

yeah ltc seems ok, but not x11

cryptotore · · #14199

bbl :D

Maxumark · · #14200

Even with some issues that they are dealing with I have never made less a day compared to straight LTC mining

Maxumark · · #14201

You actually have 7 hrs left in the mining day on Prohashing

Jalapan · · #14202

Yeah but one could argue nicehash is just as good for scrypt.. its almost the same price as here..

Jalapan · · #14203

@Maxumark you run static diff or automatic?

Maxumark · · #14204

Yes, both, trying to dial it in. need the pool to be up and no restarts for about 12 hrs to make a conclusion which static vs dyn is better.

Maxumark · · #14205

I don’t like Nicehash. I like getting paid in 20 different coins a day, and none is BTC

Maxumark · · #14206

If the pool is running perfect then Dynamic is better. if there are issues or you are using older generation miners then static levels things out

Steve Sokolowski · · #14207

ok, we’re trying again

Steve Sokolowski · · #14208

we figured out the WAMP problem

Steve Sokolowski · · #14209

it was publishing 3,000 updates with the same data

Steve Sokolowski · · #14210

so at the very least, that will be fixed in the old code

tp31989 · · #14211

Steve why my coins are now adding up what I mined but in the total moneda today it gos up

tp31989 · · #14212

Not

Steve Sokolowski · · #14213

looks good now

Steve Sokolowski · · #14214

we’re validating data

Steve Sokolowski · · #14215

no disconnects

jabludud · · #14216

:)

Sunegg · · #14217

fingers crossed

jabludud · · #14218

you guys playing with high hash power, should have done in the dev env first. just a thought

scavern · · #14219

mmm i just joined x11 pool... i am thinking it wasn’t the best time?

FRISKIE · · #14220

@Steve - how are the diff settings now?

Steve Sokolowski · · #14221

of course we did it in a dev env

Steve Sokolowski · · #14222

there’s no way to simulate things like finding blocks, though

Steve Sokolowski · · #14223

the static difficulty bug reappeared because the change we made to fix it in the old code was not pulled forward

Steve Sokolowski · · #14224

so that will be fixed in one more restart after we’ve validated this

jabludud · · #14225

the community here should have donate Steve an L3+ to simulate finding blocks as that machine can find block pretty fast for scrypt

jabludud · · #14226

:D

scavern · · #14227

Steve, I am coming from Nicehash, can I expect better earnings from x11 algo here?

Steve Sokolowski · · #14228

ok, we’re going to run for an hour of test data

Steve Sokolowski · · #14229

with that difficulty bug that is fixed but not restarted yet

Steve Sokolowski · · #14230

after the restart then we will start to relax the difficulty constraints

Steve Sokolowski · · #14231

the WAMP bandwidth problems also seem to be fixed

Steve Sokolowski · · #14232

scavern wrote: Steve, I am coming from Nicehash, can I expect better earnings from x11 algo here?
I don’t know what NiceHash’s pool is earning right now, so I can’t say

Steve Sokolowski · · #14233

you can see what we are paying at the top of the page

scavern · · #14234

thanks

FRISKIE · · #14235

@Steve - room for optimism!

Forum notification · · #14236

has started a new topic: Release progress

MglMogul9 · · #14237

Is the server still down? my miner is showing status as "dead"

Jalapan · · #14238

@Steve did the update work or what?

Jalapan · · #14239

nvm saw noiw :P

Steve Sokolowski · · #14240

yep, update worked

JoeTheMiner · · #14241

Steve Sokolowski wrote: yep, update worked
Wamp seems to be down now.

cryptotore · · #14242

indeed :p

Jalapan · · #14243

Steve Sokolowski wrote: with that difficulty bug that is fixed but not restarted yet
did you also fix the stales/rejects with static diff?

C0ins · · #14244

Is it safe to bring my L3+ back to PH?

C0ins · · #14245

Live profitability doesn’t seem to show anything

cryptotore · · #14246

no idea, site is down :p

cryptotore · · #14247

My stats page shows "No miners are connected."

cryptotore · · #14248

probably a bug

Jalapan · · #14249

thats because its dead atm dont know if they restarted after patch test

cryptotore · · #14250

whats dead?

cryptotore · · #14251

the pool?

Jalapan · · #14252

its up again

cryptotore · · #14253

so im not actually mining when the stats page is down?!

cryptotore · · #14254

"no valid shares" again, im confused as fuck

Jalapan · · #14255

@Steve whats going on?

cryptotore · · #14256

pool seems alive from the miner GUI, but it has failed over to secondary pool many times

Maxumark · · #14257

relax and give it a few. Have a beer. read the progression below

cryptotore · · #14258

ive been giving it a few for a while now, work in 6 hrs, need to sleep soon :p

cryptotore · · #14259

what progression? cant see my questions answered ^^

jabludud · · #14260

relax dude ...... just set to failover to secondary pool else where and have a beer

Maxumark · · #14261

Yea, I am having a Stevens Point Onyx black ale as we chat

cryptotore · · #14262

I mean, if you are having issues, why not make a statement somewhere to clear things up?

cryptotore · · #14263

If its only the stats page then fine, who cares, but if ppl are actually losing money they should probably be notified

C0ins · · #14264

ok looks like things are back online

FRISKIE · · #14265

Jesus guys - kindly stop spamming the chat with your bullshit - you know the f’n server is being upgraded, stop behaving like some jackasses and wait for the f’n All Clear from Steve

cryptotore · · #14266

how the fuck should I know? lol

cryptotore · · #14267

gn ;**

FRISKIE · · #14268

@ cryptotore - you make more noise than all others combined, stop writing and try reading occasionally ;) GN

cryptotore · · #14269

i will ;)

Jalapan · · #14270

guys im gonna try with static diff of 131k now on my L3+’s .. make sure i dont fly away during takeoff ok?

Maxumark · · #14271

Like I said reed the progression below and go read any new topic that Steve starts where it says Steve started a new topic, especially if it says Release progress

FRISKIE · · #14272

cryptotore wrote: i will ;)
:) good - chill a bit and you’ll find a great community here ready to work with you - myself included!

Maxumark · · #14273

"reed" Drunk typing

FRISKIE · · #14274

lol

Jalapan · · #14275

anyone of you based in europe and has to many L3+s`? didnt manage to get ahold of as many as i wanted and im still looking to upgrade my farm :)

MglMogul9 · · #14276

Does setting static difficulty actually help?

Maxumark · · #14277

Did anyone rent Titan1 on MRR and trying to run it on PH today including right now?

FRISKIE · · #14278

MglMogul9 wrote: Does setting static difficulty actually help?
Let’s get the update from Steve when he’s back, I believe part of what they work on now has to do with difficulty settings

Maxumark · · #14279

From my Exp. Static has worked the whole time as long as you are at a minimum of 8192 I think. Or if you are submitting more than 1 share a second, then your static is ignored. and I would be pissed at you for taking up so much resources

FRISKIE · · #14280

On Scrypt I settled on 32K per 1GH/s , anything lower and sooner or later switched to v. diff and climbed over 500K

FRISKIE · · #14281

Hoping for positive news from Steve on that topic, looking forward to PH relaxing the diff restrictions a bit

bbbbbbb · · #14282

Average mining efficiency - 100%

bbbbbbb · · #14283

Done!

Maxumark · · #14284

IMOP 32K per 1GH/s is too low. That submits far too many shares per minute. I ideally you should submit 1 to 2 shares per minute, or 4 to 6 at the most.

Maxumark · · #14285

2 hour share submissions should be 200 to 300, 500 at the most. at 500 you are submitting a share faster than every 15 seconds. anything more and you are hogging pool resources and causing the capacity issues

FRISKIE · · #14286

Maxumark wrote: 2 hour share submissions should be 200 to 300, 500 at the most. at 500 you are submitting a share faster than every 15 seconds. anything more and you are hogging pool resources and causing the capacity issues
We can all rest in the secure knowledge that my 2 x 1GH/s Nicehash orders are causing the capacity issues ;)

Maxumark wrote: Did anyone rent Titan1 on MRR and trying to run it on PH today including right now?
@Maxumark I rented Titan1 ... rental just ended less than an hour ago ... held her for 6 hours ... worked really well I thought ... any issues ... I’m a software engineer but really new to mining so I’d be grateful for any assistance. Thanks. Respectfully, John

Maxumark · · #14288

Yes, I could see it was running fine, and then no hash exactly when Prohashing was doing maintenance, testing and rebooting.

Maxumark · · #14289

I am curious did you have a back up pool and it just did not rollover, or no back up pool?

Smart3DWeb · · #14290

I don’t think I had a backup pool setup for Titan1 ... if I did it was the MRR internal pool working similar to PH

Smart3DWeb · · #14291

had difficulty set to d=16384
