vhmanu · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:45 PM UTC · #14093

Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:47 PM UTC · #14095
no, the mining server has continued operating
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:47 PM UTC · #14096
the only thing Chris is doing right now is making changes to WAMP
Jalapan · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:47 PM UTC · #14097

mickeekung · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:56 PM UTC · #14099

"No miners are connected" after over an hour with "no valid shares"
mickeekung · Sun Aug 06, 2017 02:07 PM UTC · #14104
@crytotore Now server is being upgraded.
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 02:07 PM UTC · #14105
Nice, miners still working then I guess?
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 02:08 PM UTC · #14106
I need to drive 3 hrs and also take a ferry to reset my miners, so please tell me I dont need to do that, lul
vhmanu · Sun Aug 06, 2017 02:08 PM UTC · #14107
just read the 10 lines before you wrote something

steve wrote mining server is working fine. only visual for us
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 02:10 PM UTC · #14111
the problem seems to be that the WAMP server CPU is always at 100%
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 02:11 PM UTC · #14112
we’re looking into why that is now
mickeekung · Sun Aug 06, 2017 02:11 PM UTC · #14113
@crytotore Me too. Let's go to his home and kiss him.

Help! can’t configure x-11 on nice hash keep getting Delta -30-40%

@ser649 - these are the values mickeekung has posted with a recent update to adjust for increased dif requirements here on PH side: a=x11 g=off d=2 h=1000
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 02:53 PM UTC · #14119
Can you get PDUs with a regular socket? Arent they all 3 phase?
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #14120
Steve Sokolowski wrote: for now, you can keep mining as normal Wouldn’t it be best to declare a maintenance period with sporadic server availability?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:00 PM UTC · #14122
we can’t schedule a specific period because we don’t know when we will find the solution
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:00 PM UTC · #14123
plus, the WAMP server seems to have gotten worse all of a sudden and I don’t think that has anything to do with the release

Something is very wrong.. earnings page dosent seem to work and im getting 0 profit.. since you tried the update.. if this dosent workout im forced to move my miners untill your issues are solved
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:53 PM UTC · #14128
Chris was able to resolve the WAMP issues, I think
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:54 PM UTC · #14129
we’re testing now, and then we’ll possibly try again with the release

Jalapan · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:14 PM UTC · #14134
yeah i know its the best but i can switch daily, today there something really funky and then i move to nicehash untill things are sorted
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:14 PM UTC · #14135
we just released and this time made significant progress
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:14 PM UTC · #14136
no errors, now Chris is validating data
GregoryGHarding · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:24 PM UTC · #14143
it you were to remove the wamp connection safguard.. would it work fine then
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:26 PM UTC · #14146
we don’t know what the problem is, still investigating
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:26 PM UTC · #14147
@Steve - are you testing it with only internal systems 1st?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:26 PM UTC · #14148
we’re going to try for one more hour
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:26 PM UTC · #14149
after that we’re going to need to delay until Aug 27
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:26 PM UTC · #14150
and we’ll need to create a reproducible test case on Dev
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:27 PM UTC · #14151
which will probably take a long time
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:27 PM UTC · #14152
@Steve - are you testing it with only internal systems 1st?
GregoryGHarding · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:27 PM UTC · #14153
i hope for the first option than the later
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:28 PM UTC · #14154
the problem isn’t related to internal and external systems
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:28 PM UTC · #14155
Steve - please answer the question - specifically , have you blocked access to WAMP from external connections and tested with only PH systems?
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:30 PM UTC · #14156
Assuming that answer is no - could you kindly test WAMP without external systems (e.g. NH) connecting to it?
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:11 PM UTC · #14157
wow can’t connect to pool. Whats new

I’m not yelling at anyone. I’m typing and this is getting rediculous
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:14 PM UTC · #14161
I’ll never reach payout threshold because I can’t mine here
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:15 PM UTC · #14162
This pool has been shit since x11
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:15 PM UTC · #14163
That and I’m tired of these guys never responding or fixing anything
AvPro · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:25 PM UTC · #14164
@Steve Sokolowski : good luck, would very deflating if you guys had to postpone for a few weeks
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:38 PM UTC · #14165
Is there something wrong with earnings today? Seems like im 5$ behind regular LTC and DASH mining
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:39 PM UTC · #14166
Shouldnt it be almost double of regular LTC/x11 today?
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:40 PM UTC · #14167
Third day at prohashing, just trying to figure out if im reading it wrong or whats going on
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:41 PM UTC · #14168
Mining with L3+, baikal cube and baikal quad
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:44 PM UTC · #14169
dustind900 wrote: I’m not yelling at anyone. I’m typing and this is getting rediculous So you suffered through X11 too, no wonder you’re so frustrated, and you’re absolutely right - the pool has been a mess ever since.
Jalapan · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:46 PM UTC · #14170
id like to see that static diff fixed first aswell.. i guess the new update wont be needed untill 25th sept when all D3’s hit the fan with their 15GH/s
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:47 PM UTC · #14171
I will probably have my D3 around 22 sep.. :p
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:48 PM UTC · #14172
so what you guys are saying is that x11 miners at this pool is not a good idea?
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:50 PM UTC · #14173
using this pool is not a good idea
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:50 PM UTC · #14174
Could you explain the issues? Im new so I dont know shit yet :p
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:51 PM UTC · #14175
I really need to recoup as much as I can on these baikals before D3s and ibelinks hit the market, so honesty is appreciated
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:52 PM UTC · #14176
constant disconnects, no static diff, payout issues... you name it and it’s broke...
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:52 PM UTC · #14177
and every time they update more gets broke
Jalapan · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:52 PM UTC · #14178
yeah i will use my D3’s on nicehash most likley if sth big doesent happend here.. because there isnt so much coins to switch between compared to scrypt.. so i think nicehash will be more profitable on X11
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:53 PM UTC · #14179
cryptotore wrote: so what you guys are saying is that x11 miners at this pool is not a good idea? Nothing about X11 itself, only that the troubles with the pool more generally started at that moment.
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:57 PM UTC · #14181
Can you confirm these issues Steve?
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:57 PM UTC · #14182
not sure about x11 but Hash-To-Coin is far superior for scrypt mining
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:58 PM UTC · #14183
I promise I will come back when the issues are over, its just critical I earn as much as possible atm :p
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:59 PM UTC · #14184
so keeping my L3 here should be good dustind?
Jalapan · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:00 PM UTC · #14185
scrypt here is fine atm i guess but X11 i think not.
Jalapan · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:00 PM UTC · #14186
hash to coin is a hassle you need to setup 25+ wallets @dustind900
Jalapan · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:01 PM UTC · #14187
and you need to sell the coins manually aswell right?
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:03 PM UTC · #14189
Jalapan wrote: hash to coin is a hassle you need to setup 25+ wallets @dustind900 Which is part of the reason it’s more stable over there, all the setup keeps the flood of quick, opportunistic miners out
FRISKIE · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:06 PM UTC · #14190
Jalapan wrote: and you need to sell the coins manually aswell right? Unless you want to accumulate a position in some of them, and hold others for the best sell moment. Definitely a more "hands-on" approach than PH . . which some prefer I guess
