Is the release done yet?
mickeekung · Sat Aug 05, 2017 05:31 PM UTC · #13993
Diff isn't being ignored but extremely less share stale right now. wow!!!
mickeekung · Sat Aug 05, 2017 05:33 PM UTC · #13994
*I type wrong. It must be diff still being ignored but less share stale.
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:06 PM UTC · #13997
Sup with "No valid shares yet" 3 minutes so far
Jalapan · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:08 PM UTC · #13999
same here cryptotore but i guess its update related...
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:09 PM UTC · #14000
Im new here, what is being updated? hehe
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:09 PM UTC · #14001
Looks like my miner is back on track
Jalapan · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:09 PM UTC · #14002
@Steve you have any idea about l3+ not giving valid shares?
Jalapan · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:09 PM UTC · #14003
they issues a big update today to improve everything
Jalapan · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:10 PM UTC · #14004
and @Steve Sokolowski is there going to be a post explaining what improvements we might see or what is the pro’s with the update?
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:10 PM UTC · #14006
Chris will revert and we’ll try again tomorrow
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:11 PM UTC · #14009
Btw guys, have you tuned your L3+? I havent done anything except n=
Jalapan · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:12 PM UTC · #14010
no but i will tune it to static diff when an update for stale shares is out
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:14 PM UTC · #14011
the WAMP server is disconnecting repeatedly
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:14 PM UTC · #14012
we can’t figure out why and will try again after we figure it out
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:21 PM UTC · #14013
no valid shares again for 5 mins now
Jalapan · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:22 PM UTC · #14016
yes but you get faster update if u press f5
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #14017
im going to assume its a bug in the stats view, and that the miner keeps mining!
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #14018
bbl, going to move my baikal cubes to prohash aswell, Cheers
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:25 PM UTC · #14019
any tips for settings? do I need to set miner algo or will it figure it out?
Jalapan · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:27 PM UTC · #14021
yes if you have x11 miner
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:27 PM UTC · #14023
Chris will fix any share errors during this release period after it is over
mjgraham · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:27 PM UTC · #14025
does this release fix being able to use static diff?
Jalapan · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:27 PM UTC · #14026
steve when the update is live what can we expect ? better responsiveness? or what are the perks
FRISKIE · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:46 PM UTC · #14027
@Steve - no chance to find the error and still release today?
mjgraham · Sat Aug 05, 2017 06:57 PM UTC · #14028
still no static diff I guess..
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Aug 05, 2017 07:25 PM UTC · #14029
it’s unlikely we’ll find it, but we’re continuing to investigate
FRISKIE · Sat Aug 05, 2017 07:37 PM UTC · #14030
@Steve - you must know something we don’t then
usually my own troubleshooting trips across the solution in unexpected moments (half the time something simple I forgot
) - good luck!
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 07:59 PM UTC · #14031
baikals up and running woho
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Aug 05, 2017 08:21 PM UTC · #14032

I set up a notification for low hash rate, but it seems to be activating on unlucky stretches, because my miner doesn’t show a drop but I’ll get an email saying below 10 MH/s, then occasionally either before or after that another email saying it’s over 1000 MH/s. This is a Titan running ~300 MH/s on average.
S3KshuN8 · Sat Aug 05, 2017 08:52 PM UTC · #14034
Has happened several times already since I set up the notification this morning.
GregoryGHarding · Sat Aug 05, 2017 09:01 PM UTC · #14035
hashrate is determined by the frequency of share submission, there is no data being exchanged through stratum to pass hashrate from your miner to prohashing.. therefore trust your miner and not prohashing readings
S3KshuN8 · Sat Aug 05, 2017 09:03 PM UTC · #14036
Well, I’d like to keep the notification, but is there a way to increase the time interval, so that I won’t get false emails?
GregoryGHarding · Sat Aug 05, 2017 09:03 PM UTC · #14037
not sure, i dont use notifications
Azzzif · Sat Aug 05, 2017 09:03 PM UTC · #14038
I am having no problems with valid shares on my L3+... made .45 ltc today already... didn’t get the funds, but it’s still seems to be hashing away
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Aug 05, 2017 09:04 PM UTC · #14039
The notifications might be a result of the deployment we just attempted
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Aug 05, 2017 09:04 PM UTC · #14041
if so, that shouldn’t happen again once we get it out
cryptotore · Sat Aug 05, 2017 10:21 PM UTC · #14042
I see that my miners sometimes changes what coin to mine every 1-2 seconds, can the miner really be effective this way?
S3KshuN8 · Sat Aug 05, 2017 11:50 PM UTC · #14043
Is there a good profit calculator that lists prohashing.com? If I want a calculator to tell me to use NiceHash, I’ll use whattomine and if I want it to say goldcoin, I’ll use coinwarz. Are there any unbiased profit calculators out there?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 12:29 AM UTC · #14044

citronick · Sun Aug 06, 2017 05:51 AM UTC · #14047
is payments continous thruout the day when threshold is breached or processed once daily?
jabludud · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:16 AM UTC · #14048
anyone experience pool unreachable few times in the last 3 hours?
jabludud · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:19 AM UTC · #14049
ignore my message, seems like someone applying some changes
. all good
jabludud · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:40 AM UTC · #14050
@citronick : all I know daily once it reach the threshold
agrip666 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:43 AM UTC · #14051
There are no payments for several days. They do not answer the ticket.
jabludud · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:45 AM UTC · #14052
what you mining scrypt or x11?
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:46 AM UTC · #14053
this is 100% donated hash pool.
jabludud · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:47 AM UTC · #14054
maybe you need to put 1% Tip for Chris
before you get paid
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:48 AM UTC · #14055
Seriously, why the big dip in scrypt profits across the board around the bitcoin fork? Was X11 the same?
jabludud · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:51 AM UTC · #14056
look at the scrypt difficulty in the past 1 month, skyrocketing
jabludud · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:54 AM UTC · #14057
anyone has proxy.prohashing.com:443 up? or just mine is dead
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:57 AM UTC · #14058
I mean the big dip that went right back up almost simultaneous with the fork.
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 06:58 AM UTC · #14059
profits cut in half for me. Maybe it was just me.
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:04 AM UTC · #14060
to clarify, I was on nicehash at the time, not here.
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:04 AM UTC · #14061
but the charts here show the same dip
vhmanu · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:05 AM UTC · #14062
agrip666 wrote: There are no payments for several days. They do not answer the ticket. please do not spread false information. everyone got his payment every day. Payments are every day when you crossed the threshhold
jabludud · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:06 AM UTC · #14063
@vhmanu : True, should be supporting Chris and Steve, they’ve done extremely amazing works
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:42 AM UTC · #14064
wat, it’s not just for the heart next to your name?
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:43 AM UTC · #14065
I thought it had more to do with self-preservation as we are on opposite ends of the same coin, as it were.
citronick · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:47 AM UTC · #14066
what is the best settings for L3+ in password field? a=scrypt d=131072 ??
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 07:58 AM UTC · #14068
and a=scrypt is not required
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:00 AM UTC · #14069
I’m not sure yet if they are like the Titan and need h=5
supershui · Sun Aug 06, 2017 08:32 AM UTC · #14071
So what is the fee that this pool eventually takes from profits?
USDECoin · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:00 AM UTC · #14072
Hey guys, somebody from support here?
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:16 AM UTC · #14073
not from support myself but what is the problem?
USDECoin · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:19 AM UTC · #14074
I sent a message regarding a coin to be added to the pool and blockexplorer, and wht to know if there is a fee, and how much
S3KshuN8 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 09:23 AM UTC · #14075
can’t help with that. not even really a support issue.
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 10:13 AM UTC · #14076
what to know fi there is a fee? what does it even mean?
cryptotore · Sun Aug 06, 2017 10:14 AM UTC · #14077
The pool has a flat 4.99% fee, "Our fee is a flat 4.99% to use all our features"
dustind900 · Sun Aug 06, 2017 11:29 AM UTC · #14078
payouts take forever... days even. I requested a BCH payout days ago. Now it’s worthless. Thanks for nothing
Forum notification · Sun Aug 06, 2017 11:45 AM UTC · #14079
Jalapan · Sun Aug 06, 2017 11:48 AM UTC · #14080
i never had any problems with any payout. working like a clock
vhmanu · Sun Aug 06, 2017 11:50 AM UTC · #14081
dustind900 wrote: payouts take forever... days even. I requested a BCH payout days ago. Now it’s worthless. Thanks for nothing you can’t request a payout. as soon as you are above threshold you will receive your coins with the next payout

We are trying the release again now
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 12:40 PM UTC · #14084
expect some problems while we resolve them over the next minutes
vhmanu · Sun Aug 06, 2017 12:57 PM UTC · #14086
seems coming back to life
Sunegg · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:03 PM UTC · #14087
Go Steve and Chris! You can do this.
n00bminer · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:04 PM UTC · #14088
Coin flop issue from a month ago is happening... coins switching 3-4 times a second
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:05 PM UTC · #14089
we determined that the WAMP issue is reproducible on the old server, so we reverted
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:05 PM UTC · #14090
the difference is that it only causes the website to lose data in the old server, whereas in the new server it stops saving shares because it’s dependent on that
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Aug 06, 2017 01:06 PM UTC · #14091
so if we can fix whatever is wrong with WAMP, we can move forward
