I used to think that, but now I doubt it. Based on the number of units that were in that batch, if they all were running for three months, the hashrate would not be nearly as low as it is today.
i am upset cant connect miner to PH tried lots of things but couldnt connect miners to PH on miner user interface the pool looks always dead dont know what to do
@nimbus either ur rig is broken or you failed to do the setup. the setup is rather easy, so i dont want to think u cant write adress right, username right, and then u can leave password blank. it will work.
@nimbus does the machine start hashing? if not with the correct adress and ur username in worker name make sure the ports in this case 3333 are open for you, im hoping and guessing you got control over outgoing ports.
@mycide - you amy know the answer to this - Are the earnings greater if we have more GH/s? Or the earnings per person are relatively the same whether we have 500GH/s or 2000gh/s?
@Raab your earnings is based on your hashing, if one have 1 gh and another 10 gh, the one with 10 gh is going to earn 10 times as much considering they both work the same pool and same rate of accepted shares.
example if LTC network doubles in total hashing power total earnings will effectively half for everyone, but the one with 10 gh is sitll making 10 times more then 1 gh.
ah right, ok that is what I was wondering. Understand the pool will earn more as a whole but was wondering would per MH/s earning increase if the the whole pool earnings increased. But earnings stay the same per mH/s just more MH/s means overall the pool is earning more
yes, more earning for your MH is all depending on value of coin. as difficulty goes up you will earn less coins, so you hope value will increase over time to keep in the profit zone.
also considering the pool earning more its not completely true, pool does earn more because they take flat fee from all, so if hashing doubles pool owners piece doubles aswell. but even if pool looks like it earning more its still only the individuals that put the machines on the pool that is making money from them. for everyone else that is already running a machine a increase to the difficulty results in lower profits, if price of coin is static or going down.
nimbus is your username when you login to prohashing use exaclty that same username in the field for worker name. Leave password field blank to start. adress and your username in Worker: and that is all L3+ needs.
different from other static mining pools is that ur worker does not get a specific name u choose, then it cant reward anything to you, prohashing require you to put ur prohashing username in workerfield nothing else.
i was thinking this is your issue since yesterday but someone already did point it out to you to put ur username there so maybe you have, in that case im out of clues.
i hope so. steve said it might be about javapipe ddos protection thats why pool looks dead i dont know it is frustrating i am mining ltc atm but low profit on antpool hope soon i can find a solution

Surprisingly it is the steadiest gainer over the past year of any crypto I have looked at. It’s actually a serious coin to support the legalized marijuana industry in the US States that have legalized, but lately they have some agreements that expand them a bit outside this area of focus.
Note - by "steadiest gainer" I dont mean "biggest gainer" - only to say that the coin doesn’t see the usual volatility and slowly gains value over time
