so setting the PW I can decide a specific coin to mine 24/7?

FRISKIE · · #13230

Although I would also give the guidance that today may not be an ideal day to get started, as the pool is in middle of some upgrades to try and get ahead of the capacity demands, and some settings have been made which are temporary, but really affect the behaviour of the pool

stugots2 · · #13231

I would need a few days to setup anyway, so thats not an issue

FRISKIE · · #13232

Right, do yourself a favor and pop over to the "help" page and read at least through the topmost sections, then come back if these basic questions are still not clear :)

stugots2 · · #13233

ok fair enough, one last question if you don’t mind, do you find the system to be accurate in deciding the most profitable coin at that moment?

FRISKIE · · #13234

And before you get started, be sure to get some feedback from the guys how the pool is performing, status of the upgrades etc

FRISKIE · · #13235

When everything is running as it should, then yes. Lately? No idea, the pool has come under a lot of increased load and hard to tell until the updates are completed :)

stugots2 · · #13236

ahhh ok, understood

stugots2 · · #13237

Thanks so much, I just got a large shipment of the L3++’s (I bought 40) and looking for a nice pool to join, which will do exactly what this one promises (when working properly of course)

FRISKIE · · #13238

Hehe well most definitely be sure the capacity issues are settled first, or you’ll add all that hashing power and probably be unhappy with the results. Once it’s all running as it should, there’s no better pool to be found! :)

stugots2 · · #13239

Awesome, thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything to me

FRISKIE · · #13240

You bet!

stugots2 · · #13241

SHA-256 mined here also? I have a few of those as well lol

SHA-256 might be released in this year. Pool developers need to fix about performance issue first.

Not yet but its in there plans to add it

stugots2 · · #13245

ohh ok cool, that would be sweet, because I have been here all of 10 mins and I’m loving the place honestly

yes I do about 25Mhs lower then what my Miner says
That doesn’t mean you’re making less money; it just means that profitability on the coin is so high that it’s worth sacrificing some work restarts to earn more

pilottage · · #13247

its an astounding BUG loosing us 6 seconds every60 seconds is not profitable... do your coin swapp in the background BUT the fact of swapping 3 coins at the nose of miner miner for 1 second each and finally return to BCC MAKES me loose MONEY so your site doesnt have to swapp coin at the depends of muy miner time.... I loose 5 to 6 seconds to the minute waiting your swap for nothing... as it return to the same...... useless loss of 10% on more part that you can improve and your Profuit instant is not justifiable on 5 second lost X 3000 workers... do the MATHS!

FRISKIE · · #13248

Jesus mate, you’re yelling at all of us about it.

mickeekung · · #13249

Agreed

pilottage · · #13250

well fuck the profits of the % its not in H that it happens anyway.....

pilottage · · #13251

SWAPPING SHISTA ALL THE WAY

GregoryGHarding · · #13252

@stugots2 :  dont forget to pop over to the support methods topic and grab an invite to our slack chatroom, loks of smart minds from existing PH miners and just an overall great chat

NigeBoyFF · · #13253

So instead of losing shares for hours it just restarts every 90 seconds at highest difficulty? No use to me with low power!

NigeBoyFF · · #13254

It was a great pool but now hopeless.

NigeBoyFF · · #13255

You talk about increasing fees but surely you realize that 5%, 10% even 1000% of nothing is nothing! Please fix your pool.

Gr33k · · #13256

well my hash is fine again but lots of coin switching...some shares are getting in between some switches but they do so much in some cases there’s no chance to mine much on that coin

Gr33k · · #13257

I’ve also checked the forums and tried h=5 down to 5=1 - not much difference. The other day had a lot of rejected shares but that’s stopped for the most part it semes

Gr33k · · #13258

err h=1 not 5=1

Gr33k · · #13259

i still have rejected shares though 40+ at least, and it’s from coin changing (I’m watching cgminer)

NigeBoyFF · · #13260

My issue was connection interrupted. results in difficulty being reset. Was happening every 90 secs for at least 40 mins. Found about 3 shares in that time across 3 instances with different devices and 40 restarts after interruptions. SHA mining with multipool completely fine during that time.

pilottage · · #13261

same here restarted every 2 blocs.... balance updates at normal pace anyway...

dustind900 · · #13262

static diff not working again

Gr33k · · #13263

:(

Gr33k · · #13264

what i think would help a lot is some logic to prevent multiple coin switching...if you switch to a coin sit on it for a minute or something to grab some shares at least - thoughts?

Gr33k · · #13265

i see periods of 10+ changes in some cases ... often 3-5 easily - then I sit on BitconnectCoin haha

glccom · · #13266

Anyone else having issues with "Calculating shares" even though you see accepted shares going up well?

glccom · · #13267

glccom · · #13268

Now this... http://imgur.com/a/sSYYt not the first time this has happened....

Steve Sokolowski · · #13269

We’re doing the best we can at developing the solution to these issues and hope to get them done by August 6

Steve Sokolowski · · #13270

until then, there’s not much we can do, unfortunately

Steve Sokolowski · · #13271

we are trying stopgap measures, like limiting difficulty

pilottage · · #13272

same here on single Alchemyst 256 @glcom you hash in insane territories! congrats.... yes its a mess and LIVE Balances counts roughly all anyway.... and agrees with @Gr33k why swap and go away ? swap and sit there for at least a bloc.....

glccom · · #13273

@Steve Sokolowski so I am not getting credit for these shares or I am?

glccom · · #13274

@Steve Sokolowski So I am not getting credit for these shares?

glccom · · #13275

We can accept the higher difficulty, and we do, so I don’t think that is an issue. You guys are the best when it’s working right.

Gr33k · · #13276

i do really like this pool lol - I am willing to give it a chance

Gr33k · · #13277

appreciate the dedication too by Steve and Chris

Gr33k · · #13278

it’s hard to gauge which pool is most profitable - however the unique thing this pool has going for it (other than cool stats, concept, etc etc)- split payouts in any combo you like :) Really enjoy that

Gr33k · · #13279

stratum disconnect :(

GregoryGHarding · · #13280

shares went over 10 mins behind, controlled restart

taka · · #13281

Antminer D3 sold out

@taka. You mean bitmain d3yesterday sale? Or did they have another already?

Gr33k · · #13283

Is this ph down a planned one?

Searing · · #13285

Imho will be at difficulty peak oct/nov. Again imho

Gr33k · · #13287

nice

Gr33k · · #13288

yeah diff is going to rocket too like scrypt

taka · · #13289

I do not have bitcoin now so I wanted to order next month now I will call bitmain when I can order so I read bitmain site I was surprised no stock

Searing · · #13290

@taka. Imho it is because prev asic of any flavor. Large data halls could buy in advance over small less 100 quantities

What happened to all the earning by COIN...where you could tell the payout minimum..etc..I don’t like this new look..why change what is working constantly? All this constant change is driving me crazy...yeah, if it’s broke fix it, if not please stop screwing with it.

mickeekung · · #13304

Prohashing need a fix.

Steve Sokolowski · · #13305

I think things are working normally, but there is some sort of issue with WAMP data

Steve Sokolowski · · #13306

I’ll inform Chris to look into the problem, but mining can continue as normal

mickeekung · · #13307

Ahhh I thought pool just down. But now it's only stat down.

mine_x · · #13308

mickeekung wrote: Ahhh I thought pool just down. But now it’s only stat down.
- did you check it now?

Steve Sokolowski · · #13309

only stats are down

Steve Sokolowski · · #13310

Chris is working on it, but it’s not the most extreme priority because no money is being lost

Steve Sokolowski · · #13311

it should be back up very soon

meanwhile, you can continue mining as normal

- I just checked by pool verification tool so I got "timed out" for all configs I did, so it looks like I’d rahter wait a bit

mine_x · · #13314

sometimes it is better to wait than to do fast but costly decisions : )

mine_x · · #13315

yes, I see same results via verification tool :) way to go, Brothers, it is up again

the only really BAD thing I see is that the coins are chaning 3-4 times per second AND after I am always coming back to Bitconnect, that’s really killing the profit

the jumping (3-4 differents) between coins appears at least once per few minutes, then back to Bitconnect
