@FRISKIE : thnx, just calculated;]
Elrox · Sat Jul 01, 2017 06:23 PM UTC · #9908
so i think i’m set up & running, thanx all for support. please what do you think is better for 1080ti, scrypt or x11 (x11 i suppose) ?
GregoryGHarding · Sat Jul 01, 2017 06:25 PM UTC · #9909
x11 hash a higher hashrate, but lower profit, so if your card get a decend hashrate on scrypt, id go with that

@Steve : looks like last wamp issue lost shares
FRISKIE · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:06 PM UTC · #9915
Hope my earnings jump a lot when Chris corrects the shares
FRISKIE · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:06 PM UTC · #9916
Otherwise it was an ugly day indeed . .
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:10 PM UTC · #9917
me too..i was up 5% this morning at only 1/4 through my stash...the the troubles...now i’m down a bit...need that correction!
mickeekung · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:11 PM UTC · #9918
Also NH fixed price raise when statistic become normal. Do they monitor us?
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:12 PM UTC · #9919
oh yes i believe they are definitely tied to our "live profitability"
mickeekung · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:12 PM UTC · #9920
Any chance that PH can terminate that tied?
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:12 PM UTC · #9921
it becomes VERY obvious after using them with prohashing
GregoryGHarding · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:15 PM UTC · #9922
it would be nice if the nh bots didnt leech off our stats
FRISKIE · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:34 PM UTC · #9923
Better that the NH bots monitor us, when we’ve been down I’ve watched the NH prices, and they are even worse during those periods, way worse
FRISKIE · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:36 PM UTC · #9924
I dont know where they point when we’re down, if they have a failover set, but it’s much worse than when they get the data from PH
FRISKIE · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:38 PM UTC · #9925
I always wait until those periods when PH Scrypt is down around 7 cents, then I pop over to NH and set my orders
piet · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:42 PM UTC · #9926
FRISKIE wrote: I always wait until those periods when PH Scrypt is down around 7 cents, then I pop over to NH and set my orders same tactics here
but i cant F5 the entire day...
piet · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:44 PM UTC · #9927
Maybe put live profits stats behind the login...?
FRISKIE · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:48 PM UTC · #9928
NH needs profit data from somewhere, if not from PH it may be even worse than now
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:49 PM UTC · #9929
they probably get it by WAMP
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 07:49 PM UTC · #9930
which means they have account anyway
GregoryGHarding · Sat Jul 01, 2017 08:01 PM UTC · #9932
theyd need an account to get an api key so their already here lol
GregoryGHarding · Sat Jul 01, 2017 08:01 PM UTC · #9933
i suppose they can scrape the div, but thats annoying
AvPro · Sat Jul 01, 2017 09:32 PM UTC · #9935
Mining and selling more of this coin would result in slippage at this market greater than the maximum allowed value. How long does it take before such "slippage" clears on a coin? (BCC)

AvPro wrote: Mining and selling more of this coin would result in slippage at this market greater than the maximum allowed value. How long does it take before such "slippage" clears on a coin? (BCC) You can fix this problem by arbitraging the "official" market and Novaexchange
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Jul 01, 2017 09:35 PM UTC · #9937
Place a buy order in Novaexchange, then send your coins to the official market for bitconnectcoins and sell them
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Jul 01, 2017 09:35 PM UTC · #9938
it’s easy money and nobody is doing it
Steve Sokolowski · Sat Jul 01, 2017 09:35 PM UTC · #9939
sometimes the markets are separated by 3%, which could allow someone to earn $1500/day
AvPro · Sat Jul 01, 2017 09:37 PM UTC · #9940
@Steve Sokolowski : what sort of transaction confirmation speed do you get on this?
AvPro · Sat Jul 01, 2017 10:24 PM UTC · #9941
@Steve Sokolowski : Coin status page is saying nova sell price for BCC is 0.001 when actually on nova it is 0.021 so the profit value of the coin is out?
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 10:35 PM UTC · #9942
i see that too: 0.00100058 sell price for BCC... what’s up with that?
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 10:36 PM UTC · #9943
it’s ~0.02 on both sides at nova and bcc official for days..
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 10:36 PM UTC · #9944
where’s the 0.001 coming from?
vhmanu · Sat Jul 01, 2017 10:39 PM UTC · #9945
i’ve seen this many times already and even posted about it.

I tried sending coins back and forth, just dont have the input BTC to do a lot
fattygrub · Sat Jul 01, 2017 11:11 PM UTC · #9948
now their both around 0.02 again...

AvPro wrote: @Steve Sokolowski : Coin status page is saying nova sell price for BCC is 0.001 when actually on nova it is 0.021 so the profit value of the coin is out? Those are deep prices, which are the prices that we will receive after we sell all our currently unconfirmed blocks.

@ Chris, up early? Or really late night?
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:07 PM UTC · #9958
@ Steve - can’t you gugys just fix the shares insert errors today, and wait a bit for the ajor change on the code of the mining server?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:17 PM UTC · #9959
which errors are you referring to?
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:21 PM UTC · #9962
Hey Steve, I was referring to the post you made yesterday about the errors you have discovered that could fix it for good. Chris has updated the account, ,all is good there.
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:22 PM UTC · #9963
Getting the share inserter fixed for good though would be huge for us!
fattygrub · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:22 PM UTC · #9964
hi steve! any estimate of when the mining server will go down for that 30 minutes today?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:22 PM UTC · #9965
there’s no estimate right now, because without the ticketing system having been set up yet, I never know what Chris accomplished overnight
mickeekung · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:22 PM UTC · #9966
Hello FRISKIE it's very nice today
I'm glad too see you happy today.
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:22 PM UTC · #9967
so I can’t say whether he will have issues when he gets up that need to be immediately addressed
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:24 PM UTC · #9968
With me all is good now, shares were updated, BTC payment out - happy happy today
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:25 PM UTC · #9969
@ Steve - what upgrades are on the plan for today?
mickeekung · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:27 PM UTC · #9970
I'm very happy too. However, I'll wait for the today upgrade before I go sleeping. 30 minutes downtime can make NH cancelled its order. I need to reorder again after finish upgrading.
fattygrub · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:30 PM UTC · #9971
in the past for me, NH will not just automatically cancel...sometimes it will just show tons of rejects and "extra rewards"....at high gigs one can lose several dollars very quickly....that’s why i’d like a heads-up on the downtime so i can cancel orders myself
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:40 PM UTC · #9972
FRISKIE wrote: @ Steve - what upgrades are on the plan for today? I could make a list, but I don’t think that would be the best use of time
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:41 PM UTC · #9973
there are a lot of performance and stability issues that have been resolved
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:41 PM UTC · #9974
I think Chris will aim to start at 3:00pm
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:42 PM UTC · #9975
Just keep in mind, the mining server is performing the best it probably ever has right now.
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:43 PM UTC · #9976
Did you just do something to the sever?
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:43 PM UTC · #9977
Or is it another DDoS being mitigated?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:44 PM UTC · #9979
perhaps there are more attacks, as you said
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:44 PM UTC · #9980
Uhum, just a sec will post a graph
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:46 PM UTC · #9981
what time we release today will be based on the decision of these ETH payouts
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:46 PM UTC · #9982
I’m thinking that we will have to decide to put off the payouts, which might be disappointing to some customers, in favor of getting this release out, which will fix a lot of problems
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:46 PM UTC · #9983
but I think Chris fixed many of the ETH payout problems already
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:48 PM UTC · #9985
FRISKIE wrote: Uhum, just a sec will post a graph I wonder if the "increased delta" problems people complained about at random times for months were due to attacks, which were simply never large enough to notice
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:49 PM UTC · #9986
I did some research on this and found that UDP attacks are one of the most expensive types, because it’s difficult to amplify them
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:49 PM UTC · #9987
I've thought about the same thing, some of the larger ones I feel sure were exactly that
fattygrub · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:49 PM UTC · #9988
@FRISKIE, i’ve had 4 fixed NH orders auto-cancelled on me since 8:00am... i can’t figure why...everything looks good then suddenly cancelled... what about you?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:49 PM UTC · #9989
so the bots are more likely to be discovered and shut down, which means that the criminals are having to pay more and more for more expensive attacks
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:51 PM UTC · #9990
Yeah Steve, as the mitigation has become more sophisticated, no doubt the attackers have had to ramp up the sophistication as well, which surely comes at a price
Litecreative · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:52 PM UTC · #9991
Hey Steve, Ive received todays eth payout, but still not the one for yesterday? still not listed on the block chain
FRISKIE · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:53 PM UTC · #9992
@ fattygrub - I have only started a short order running about an hour, and in that time observed what must have been an attempted attack (the graph I posted) - its very possible then that the cancellations have happened as a result of attacks
Litecreative · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:53 PM UTC · #9993
Should i still wait or might this be something else
Litecreative · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:53 PM UTC · #9995
for the eth payout, that didnt commence yesterday?
Litecreative · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:55 PM UTC · #9996
I find it odd you paid out for my previous days mining but the mining before that still have note been paid out or not listed under my adress on the block explorer
Litecreative · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:56 PM UTC · #9997

Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:58 PM UTC · #10001
the ETH payouts issue is caused by the DDoS protection measures, which block traffic needed to communicate with ETH
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:59 PM UTC · #10002
no money will be lost, but Chris is backlogged in dealing with that
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jul 02, 2017 12:59 PM UTC · #10003
we need to move forward by releasing the new code and getting the support ticketing system set up
