GregoryGHarding · · #4470

nvm just read the post

GregoryGHarding · · #4471

was searching the settings for it haha

n00bminer · · #4472

the coin switching is on fire

mjgraham · · #4473

yea coin switching seems to be a lot more than it was,2 or 3 times a second with h=50

AvPro · · #4474

mine is going moon-game-moon-game-moon-game same speed as @mjgraham

AvPro · · #4475

almost like it is not listening to the h parameter

mmfiore · · #4476

Yes, I am running Titans and I am also getting 40 to 50 % stales..Pool 0 stale share detected, submitting as user requested

n00bminer · · #4477

I’m watching the miner and it pulls 3-4 new jobs in a second

n00bminer · · #4478

ok sometimes it is 7 new_job ids a second. super hash!

mjgraham · · #4479

yea I am getting a neg delta of like 75% shesh wonder how much that has cost today

tmopar · · #4480

you guys think its ready for prime ? im still on my backup pool

n00bminer · · #4481

I lowered my diff to 512 to try to counter, but it isnt working lol

tmopar · · #4482

try setting a single coin network

tmopar · · #4483

c=litecoin or c=bitconnectcoin

FRISKIE · · #4484

@ Chris & Steve - you guys have managed to somehow totally destroy NiceHash mining - please have a look at this chart - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2pJAQ ... sp=sharing - I’m scared to go near it now!

ap1318 · · #4485

Yeah I am changing coins ever 2 seconds

ap1318 · · #4486

was going crazy for a min. Seems okay now

tmopar · · #4487

Frisk, you tried your static diff and single coin network?

mjgraham · · #4488

no to fast for sure, single coin will help but cant use prof data with static

tmopar · · #4489

i have never bought nicehash time... once you put the quarter in can you change where its pointing at or worker args?

mjgraham · · #4490

hey I have a sad chart like that too https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4zc_ ... 1pTSV8zUFk

ap1318 · · #4491

is slowed down now. On Digi for 3 min now

GregoryGHarding · · #4492

i have a static diff of 0.08 on x11 and its good

FRISKIE · · #4493

@tmopar - these are my PW args - d=8192 h=1000 g=off

n00bminer · · #4494

mine has not slowed, its like a roulette wheel of hashing

FRISKIE · · #4495

hey I have a sad chart like that too
thanks for confirming that the problem is not only on my ide

ap1318 · · #4496

going crazy again. Guess i need to stick with one for a bit. Back to changing ever 1-2 seconds

n00bminer · · #4497

I switched to c=mooncoin to see

ap1318 · · #4498

thanks let me know if you see it work better

tmopar · · #4499

its going too fast... i downshifted a test piece doing 40 mh typically solid on a diff pool... its pulling 12.5 mh right now

FRISKIE · · #4500

@ noobminer - you may be better with Bitconnectcoin if you’r going to set static

tmopar · · #4501

at diff 768

ap1318 · · #4502

@ Steve Sokolowski Do you know why the auto switching is going so fast now?

AvPro · · #4503

just tested with h=0 , h=1 and h=1000 . All have rapid coin switching. As users graphs below show this will just kill things like nicehash

FRISKIE · · #4504

@ AvPro - right you are!

ap1318 · · #4505

very odd

ap1318 · · #4506

seems like the recent updates may have broken something

n00bminer · · #4507

Thank you. I set to Bitconnectcoin

mjgraham · · #4508

well I gotta give up on nicehash for now, cant afford to loose more that $60+ a day, shesh

mmfiore · · #4509

I set miy miner to Litecoin still no better

tmopar · · #4510

if you dont mind me asking how much hashing power and duration could one purchase for say .25 btc

ap1318 · · #4511

yeah something is up. Hopefully fixed soon

AvPro · · #4512

@Steve Sokolowski :  seems to have calmed a bit now on the switching

ap1318 · · #4513

not for me :/

AvPro · · #4514

@ap1318 :  yeah not as good a pre-upgrade but better than 20mins ago. I should have been clearer - not of the same quality as yesterday

Steve Sokolowski · · #4515

AvPro wrote: @ap1318 :  yeah not as good a pre-upgrade but better than 20mins ago. I should have been clearer - not of the same quality as yesterday
I don’t think this has anything to do with the upgrade - I think it has to do with bfgminer, in that some renters don't have the flag set as described in the documentation. If you own the miners, try using cgminer.

FRISKIE · · #4516

And the total destruction of NiceHash??

FRISKIE · · #4517

Nevermind, it’s like a never-ending loop of fix it >> works great >> upgrade >> NiceHash mining broken, am finally just pissed off, tired and done for the day.

AvPro · · #4518

@Steve Sokolowski :  Honestly Steve, negative delta has increased across the board on NH since 12 hours ago. We’re talking 30% negative delta - usually this can be kept <6%

n00bminer · · #4519

cgminer 3.9.0 innosilicon-12chip-v0p5 is what I am using on the A2

Steve Sokolowski · · #4520

AvPro wrote: @Steve Sokolowski :  Honestly Steve, negative delta has increased across the board on NH since 12 hours ago. We’re talking 30% negative delta - usually this can be kept <6%
The release only occurred a few hours ago, so it can’t be the release, then

Steve Sokolowski · · #4521

Did this number go up gradually throughout the day?

JoeTheMiner · · #4522

Has to be the release for me Steve. I am noticing the same thing as soon as the system came back online.

Unfortunately, we can’t revert. I’ll ask Chris to look into this once he gets back from dinner in a few minutes.

AvPro · · #4524

Same, its spiked up since the upgrade. Sorry to say

n00bminer · · #4525

something happened when we came back up

I know just hope you can figure out what is going on. I add g=off helping a little but still over 20% before around 5-6%

tmopar · · #4527

im going to try to compile cgminer.... the problem is the one that comes out of the box on the raspi doesnt do scrypt

ap1318 · · #4528

cgminer is what I am using as well.

tmopar · · #4529

are you experiencing the same issues everyone else reports

ap1318 · · #4530

I am not seeing any stale shares. Just super rapid switching

ap1318 · · #4531

actually i lied

ap1318 · · #4532

I am seeing 20% like everyone else

ap1318 · · #4533

8-22%

tmopar · · #4534

what are you pass args

tmopar · · #4535

we were kinda hoping cgminer was immune.. what version?

ap1318 · · #4536

I am not sure. I am not home and dont have remote setup for my new A4 yet

ap1318 · · #4537

ill check when i get home

tmopar · · #4538

i dont think we can outlaw BFGminer even if it was the problem because of nicehash... just too many people running it in the wild.

tmopar · · #4539

if you havent checked that piece in a while it could have been the downtime

tmopar · · #4540

please post when you get home, we need as much real data as we can get

ap1318 · · #4541

possible

ap1318 · · #4542

ill let you know

tmopar · · #4543

it could just be a speed thing... slower miners (zeus pieces) cant keep up with that fast of coin switching.... it may require per-asic benchmarking of some kind per worker specifically filtering for poor fast coin performance

AvPro · · #4544

but g=off h=1000 should be keeping this to a minimum

mmfiore · · #4545

I tried switching to static coin = gamecredit I am now getting massive amounts of Pool 0 is issuing work for old block

mmfiore · · #4546

I fixed the problem. my fault wrong password commands. Gamecredit also still has lots of stale shares.

mmfiore · · #4547

There is no way the gamecredt coin network is finding blocks this fast.vPerhaps the pool issuing work for old blocks to be done.

ap1318 · · #4548

Has anyone bought from .innosilicon directly?

tmopar · · #4549

i sent a couple emails, nothing

tmopar · · #4550

they are snowed under like santas elves i imagine

ap1318 · · #4551

not surprised

mmfiore · · #4552

There must be a bug in the pool’s software as something has gone wrong with the work unit tracking process.

GAWminer27 · · #4553

Is the mining working at the moment?

mmfiore · · #4554

I believe that the pool is erroneously issuing the same work unit to two miners. I believe that the pool maybe erroneously issuing the same work unit to two miners, the first one to submit the share will get credit and the other gets a stale.

mmfiore · · #4555

Okay I did some more ecperimentation. I switched one of my miners to litcoinpool, org. and I am getting the same stale share detected message. Just like on prohashing. So now I am thinking it is not a problem with the pool. I did some more research and apparently some mining software that message is normal. I guess that is normal for BFGminer.

n00bminer · · #4556

I do not know about the stale stuff, but the rapid switching of coins definitely changed after we came back up

mmfiore · · #4557

Further reseach revealed that increasing the expiry time from one to 10 or 20 almost entirely eliminates the annoying stale share message.

n00bminer · · #4558

last couple days the A2 was pulling 110 mhs local, 107ish on site with switching, now it has dropped to local dropped to 96, pool 88-91 mh/s with work switching almost 2 times a second. Lucky to get a share done

n00bminer · · #4559

my grid box was at 21mh/s on pool, after we got back in today, 16mh/s

n00bminer · · #4560

I pulled them back to litecoinpool as the shares just were not coming

ap1318 · · #4561

@n00bminer yeah I am seeing the same thing. After the pool came back up I am seeing the work switching every 1-2 seconds constantly. Its weird.

ap1318 · · #4562

Now my miner and my live balance is empty

ap1318 · · #4563

something is broken on here

ap1318 · · #4564

Guess ill switch pools for a bit until a fix is found

olkah · · #4565

the pool is not in working condition !!! :o :o :o :o

mjgraham · · #4566

sigh..Websocket connection closed

ap1318 · · #4567
