More than three miners are difficult to accommodate without good ventilation and cooling
n00bminer · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:01 PM UTC · #4412
I put mine here at work in the computer room, ice cold, ups-stable power (free to me) lol
nimbus · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:01 PM UTC · #4413
so what about noise of L3+ is it silent or the fan non-stop runing
topkhodon · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:07 PM UTC · #4414
nimbus wrote: so what about noise of L3+ is it silent or the fan non-stop runing nonstop. Is beside uncomfortable. n an apartment more than three can not be placed

oh ok mate hopefully i live in a house
tmopar · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:24 PM UTC · #4416
can you run them inline? take off some of the extra fans? one exhaust blowing into the others intake?
mmfiore · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:29 PM UTC · #4417
Mining seems to be completely down. All my miners were disconnected.
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:31 PM UTC · #4419
tmopar wrote: can you run them inline? take off some of the extra fans? one exhaust blowing into the others intake? does that work? surely >temp
tmopar · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:32 PM UTC · #4420
depends on your ambient temp, how powerful the fans are, and truly how much heat it generates
tmopar · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:32 PM UTC · #4421
you could get away with blowing exhaust from a zeus piece over a bunch of gridseeds for instance and not need extra fans

Okay thanks Steve. Thanks for the update. Hopefully we can back online later today. Thanks
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:55 PM UTC · #4425
back online now it seems?
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 05:59 PM UTC · #4427
suprisingly my miners connected back to prohashing okay
FRISKIE · Wed Jun 07, 2017 06:04 PM UTC · #4429
I disconnected mine due to sharp rise in stale and reject shares
mickeekung · Wed Jun 07, 2017 06:05 PM UTC · #4430
I think pool gonna online soon.
olkah · Wed Jun 07, 2017 06:11 PM UTC · #4431
@ Steve Sokolowski what’s going on can’t log in to my account
tmopar · Wed Jun 07, 2017 06:18 PM UTC · #4432
anyone getting an l3 got a piece they wanna part with? a terminator or dominator perhaps? maybe a titan
olkah · Wed Jun 07, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #4433
look that something is not right with the pool
tmopar · Wed Jun 07, 2017 06:26 PM UTC · #4435
olkah they are resetting and doin the maintenance, mine the backup pool for a while 15 minutes then check back
UPSoft · Wed Jun 07, 2017 06:58 PM UTC · #4436
WHY you guys just don’t RENT a server?
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:00 PM UTC · #4437
think we’re all good now
mickeekung · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:04 PM UTC · #4439
Please correct balance again for 1 hour that share delay. Thanks.
ap1318 · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:19 PM UTC · #4442
@UPSoft renting a server wouldn’t solve a database issue.
ap1318 · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:19 PM UTC · #4443
Its back online it seems
piet · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:34 PM UTC · #4444
yep, there are a lot of "Stratum from pool 0 requested work restart"messages in my logs at the moment.
mjgraham · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:36 PM UTC · #4445
Does the last share processed counter mean prof data is good but catching up on shares or it is behind as well, i just saw my script invest a load of money was wondering if i should cry later when it catches up or not.
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:41 PM UTC · #4446
Asked the same question earlier - we dont know what the "par of the course" was for the "live" profit data before the introduction of the timestamp. could have always been 30 secs etc behind ’live’
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:54 PM UTC · #4447
little bit more stales than average, hoping things will even out since the restart
lunaticcoins · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:55 PM UTC · #4448
Also seeing a huge increase in stale and rejected shares from settings that have been clean in the past. And when I watch the current active coin for my workers, its constantly switching.
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:55 PM UTC · #4449
yeah same behaviour - a lot of switching
mickeekung · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:56 PM UTC · #4451
Yes. Scrypt share stale is increasing than previous.
FRISKIE · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:56 PM UTC · #4452
Both primary and merge mined shares are stale 103
FRISKIE · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:57 PM UTC · #4453
I had to quit again, terrible performance
mickeekung · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:57 PM UTC · #4454
but X11 share stale is normal.
mjgraham · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:58 PM UTC · #4455
Well as fas as my earlier question i let things run then disabled the script, should have made at least some gain but was a loss again going to have to review the logs and see.
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 07:59 PM UTC · #4456
its the rapid coin switching going on with scrypt that is pushing up the stales
Steve Sokolowski · Wed Jun 07, 2017 08:03 PM UTC · #4457
AvPro wrote: its the rapid coin switching going on with scrypt that is pushing up the stales Even if there are stales, the profitability is insane. You can still have 30% stales and be more profitable than yesterday.
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 08:03 PM UTC · #4458
i will reconnect when thinhd
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 08:03 PM UTC · #4459
*yes but seeing 20% stale
AvPro · Wed Jun 07, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #4460
ok i get where you are coming from, typed the last two message too fast
ap1318 · Wed Jun 07, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #4461
Thanks for getting us back up. Everything back to normal or still working on stuff Steve?
Steve Sokolowski · Wed Jun 07, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #4462
AvPro wrote: *yes but seeing 20% stale We only see 1.04% of shares stale across the pool, so this could be something wrong with your configuration
n00bminer · Wed Jun 07, 2017 08:16 PM UTC · #4464
I just reconnected and the miners are not showing connected on the page, is this ok?
n00bminer · Wed Jun 07, 2017 08:17 PM UTC · #4465
they just popped up after a couple mins. all good
