joshn712, rate of returned shares depends on difficulty, and Prohashing tries to dynamically set the difficulty such that your miner will return one share a minute regardless of speed.
personally I prefer frequent shares because if the miner throws a HW error or the pool rejects a share, you lose a smaller percentage of the total output.
I buy hash rate from NH also solo in NH u know solo mining in Japan so hard Electronic high charge like Hawaii maybe American knows about Hawaii in the future I wanna live in thailand and solo mining a lot
I seem able to solo certain coins, before they dissapear of the current pool list i guess, but only with c= m=solo, if i add d= it cant seem to connect
joshn712 wrote: So do many people have A4’s that show normal Hash rate but take only a few shares?
it looks its not only A4’s but Excalibur and Alchemist the same.... ALL the share we calculateare not counted but we do them anyway.... it feels like someone takes 10% to 30% of our Hash... 2 days ago it was perfect and all shares submitted instantly.... now some shares are never conted and never repaid... of course renters in Nicehash cannot verify this... but we can read the logs of our machines and see much shares are submitted than counted.... still I love the site!
I wonder how much power I could get though from a full roof of solar panels and a nice battery array . . sun is intense there, surely enough to power some miners for a while.
you need 3X the panel power as your Miner... a 1000 Watt miner would need 3000 Watt of panels + 24Kwh battery / 8 hour sun = 24/24 run; but it will cost you the price of 15 Antminers L3+ script @ 41LTC
i think solar calculation is approx half a house roof will easily cover all use within the house and sell about 15% back into the grid. if you did a whole roof youd be laughing
Hey lilbob, yeah there are powerful typhoons, however the area I would move to is called Pampanga, on the opposite side of the largest main island, Luzon. It seldom takes a hit, and when it does, being located across the ilsand it can't take a direct hit anyway, and storms are considerably weakened by the time they arrive,
363 shares paid..... 403 accepted in my logs... and no sign of repay so far.... stealing shares and not small ones my shares are 4XXXX Diff EACH Hashing at 320 Mhs paid for less than 200 Mhs! the same since 2 days hashrate is not reported shares are lost

but there is a multiplier system in place I think?
since when Prohashing charges 25% fees ???? 5% is already scandalously expensive!
Calm down mate and take my advice, those of us who mine here for a while know the pool is profitable. Relax, take your time and find your way, you can make money here too
So why’s everyone talking about this garbage and ignoring the elephant in the room? Fact is, PH has been kicking my miners off multiple times over the past several days. DOS or not, fact is they’re a bunch of teenagers who are too busy jacking off to porno movies to build a decent pool. Agreed, it has some great features. Pity it doesn’t work!
Hey LMC dont say this friskie will tell you to look at your diff settings!!!! they dont own machines they give 80% of their profits to the owners and they lecture you... when we have ROied since 2014
I agree LMC. Gregy thinks while registered in the forum just shortly I do not know this pool. But tried it out since years. Always same problems, never as bad as now. Even do not have the time checking through my miners to eliminate this failover pool. And yep LMC, I guess they do not invest money in machine. Otherwise they would have doubled with bitmain L3 their income only with the machine
if you cannot see what is happening, you need to change career. The website has been intermittently unavailable for days, coinciding with the pool failures. You want me to send an email covering something which should be extremely obvious to everyone. Way to hide from the truth! When problems like this arise, the admins should have the honor, honesty and courtesy to admit to it and send out recommendations to miners to redirect until further notice, instead of giving vague mention of issues and saying that everything’s now wonderful again. Why would any miner return to a pool with such unreliable admin?
