@topkhodon : ignore it. if stratum is alive, your shares are being recorded. the website uses a different way to get the info about shares, so it can lag behind and not actually be a problemn.

havent tried miningrigrental yet at the current prices, but i recall reading up to 5 backup pools i think

I will connect another L3+ to PH. Want to belive)))
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:34 PM UTC · #9402
it seems to be stable for me. on my rig, only one rejected share out of 459
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:34 PM UTC · #9404
as for MRR, prices are pretty high compared to nicehash.
topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:35 PM UTC · #9405
2 rejected from 159. 50 min uptime
topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:37 PM UTC · #9406
VanessaEzekowitz wrote: it seems to be stable for me. on my rig, only one rejected share out of 459 What device do you have?
tmopar · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:38 PM UTC · #9407
you guys ever used the farms like zoomhash or genesis?
tmopar · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:38 PM UTC · #9408
I see ads for them occasionally on the net
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:39 PM UTC · #9409
@topkhodon : three gridseed blades and six of the little 5-chip "orbs".
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:39 PM UTC · #9410
actually my NH order is delta of -0.25% pretty decent
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:41 PM UTC · #9411
wait, zoomhash and genesis are still around? O_o

topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:42 PM UTC · #9414
I have some hashrate on hashflare.io
topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:43 PM UTC · #9416
Not so bad, but roi about one year
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:43 PM UTC · #9418
never heard of zoom, and genesis is a bad investment
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:43 PM UTC · #9419
now they’re just a noisy little profit machine (for what little one can get out of 20 MH/s scrypt
)

VanessaEzekowitz wrote: it varies between 18 and 20 MH/s its very low hr for mining now(((

yep I know. but they still turn a profit after electric cost (and always a profit in winter - the house is electric-heated anyway)

Dominator about $2200 from China
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 06:01 PM UTC · #9438
meh, still way out of my price range.
AvPro · Tue Jun 27, 2017 06:01 PM UTC · #9439
What’s the hashrate of the A2s again?
n00bminer · Tue Jun 27, 2017 06:02 PM UTC · #9442

for me, it’s not about time to RoI, it’s about up-front cost. If you don’t have $2000 to spend, you just don’t have $2000 to spend, even if it would RoI in a week.
n00bminer · Tue Jun 27, 2017 06:05 PM UTC · #9447
4 month roi would be great, but L3+’s will be flooding here in 4 weeks. 100% difficulty jump most likely, not 1-~20%
n00bminer · Tue Jun 27, 2017 06:06 PM UTC · #9448
I bought a 280 on ebay last week for 2600, they are 3750 now
AvPro · Tue Jun 27, 2017 06:06 PM UTC · #9449
4 weeks because of the dreaded "1st August"?
topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 06:07 PM UTC · #9450
So, all my miners on PH now. let’s see what will happen next
n00bminer · Tue Jun 27, 2017 06:07 PM UTC · #9451
nah batch 3 and 4 of L3+s arrive

prices are nuts on ebay right now.... check out breakout boards and PSUs..... even they are going up
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 08:41 PM UTC · #9466
A4’s are $1400 direct from Inno, Sept delivery
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 08:52 PM UTC · #9468
If you click the "Pre-Order A4" button at the top right, the order page it brings you to lists an A4 without PSU for $980. Is that inaccurate?
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 08:54 PM UTC · #9469
I wouldn't be surprised if that was out of date - every date on their A4 product page is a year out of date
n00bminer · Tue Jun 27, 2017 08:54 PM UTC · #9470
probably a single blade, 138mhs
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 08:56 PM UTC · #9472
Nevermind, I see that the order form is 70% of total order cost (which I don't really understand the point - it's a wire transfer...two parts just means I pay twice the damn fees)
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 08:58 PM UTC · #9475
I’m sticking with Inno, parallel DC circuit = 100% reliability. Bitmain is more efficient but flaky
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 08:59 PM UTC · #9478
Also $1400 for 280MH/s versus $1291 for 504MH/s...
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 08:59 PM UTC · #9479
Mine all arrived safely in NZ with DHL. They’re a lot better than EPS
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:00 PM UTC · #9480
DHL in the US sucks so bad.
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:00 PM UTC · #9481
Ah yes, but "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten"
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:01 PM UTC · #9482
:) Fair enough, hopefully I haven't made a terrible choice
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:03 PM UTC · #9484
Though it does seem that the L3+ is better than the earlier L3
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:03 PM UTC · #9485
Glad I ordered direct then
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:04 PM UTC · #9486
If margins where really tight like late last year, and power was a big % I might be tempted but Inno have been good to me so I’ll stay with them.
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:05 PM UTC · #9487
You've convinced me to pay attention to Inno. Might order some in my next farm upgrade
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:05 PM UTC · #9488
I have them located about 5 miles from where I live and I barely visit them more than twice a month. They just run and run and .....
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:07 PM UTC · #9489
They seem to be more tolerant to temp and airflow. Parallel DC circuit vs Serial (bitmain). Reliability versus Efficiency. You can have one but not both.
vinylwasp · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:10 PM UTC · #9490
Just keep them cool and disable the auto-fan control, set it to >70% I think is the advice. Read the thread below.
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:12 PM UTC · #9491
Ah, well hopefully all the infrastructure I've built will be great then! Remotely controlled temp at 21 degrees C, 45% humidity, dedicated circuits on their own panel box, and all sorts of automated alarms for different behavior
frphm · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:13 PM UTC · #9492
I live 3 hours from where the farm is, so everything is designed to be remotely controlled
pilottage · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:28 PM UTC · #9493
This javapipe is a misery I feel and I see that 1/3 of my Hashrate is lost but calculated.... back to multipools less flashy but it pays instantly, it simply doesn’t work as yesterday since your reboot shares are lost and never repaid... and for those buying Hashrate like "I will buy 2 GHs".... you are too lazy to make a profit of your actual hashrate.... the art is not in pure power but in finding the right coin that you will bag for next year... if you need to pay your bills and then look for higher Hash that creates higher electricity bills, you are lost... and I say this because my shitty_bags are still with me and not in Bitmain coffers after the Antshares blooodbath. I have the BTC buy power for "N" L3+ with a smaller hashrate than yours, but I will never give a dime to these Chinese slave factories... Hashing is so 2014 when you see the simpleton Steemit bloggers making twice what an L3+ can do...
mmfiore · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:35 PM UTC · #9494
So is everything fixed now?
Steve Sokolowski · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:37 PM UTC · #9495
As far as I know. There were attacks earlier, but Javapipe took care of them.
mmfiore · Tue Jun 27, 2017 09:39 PM UTC · #9496
I will Keep Checking. I switched back my miners.
