So did I, I went back to Litecoinpool. Not as flexible, but competent and reliable!

Tom3 · · #9698

Litecoinpool? I am an european and love canadian pools.

Tom3 · · #9699

And sell to you with NH as hedging other pools

LMC · · #9700

Tom3 wrote: For that you have failover pool but still the changing to the other pool may cost you a block
That’s a really great theory. Firstly, some of my miners aren’t sensing the failures, so they just keep waiting.. (no advice thanks, from people who think they know how to run my miners better than I do). Secondly, you don’t just lose a block, the miner keeps hunting back and forth as PH comes in and out, plus if your backup is PPLNS you’re just hashing for nothing for a while, combined with the switching back-and-forth.

GregoryGHarding · · #9701

so if you went back to liteccoinpool what are you doing here?

GregoryGHarding · · #9702

just here to complain.. as i said

pilottage · · #9703

I was speaking of NH renters not owning of course we know PH owns its server and tightly! We are speaking of renting people from NH that earn 8 times less to the MHs than we do....

LMC · · #9704

GregoryGHarding wrote: so if you went back to liteccoinpool what are you doing here?
So how’s about you actually doing something useful instead of spouting garbage to dissatisfied users?

lilbob · · #9705

so you guys read any of the posts in the last month? or jumped straight into chatbox?

GregoryGHarding · · #9706

how about you read a little further back where i directed you to email the team instead of bitching

GregoryGHarding · · #9707

thats helpful

mickeekung · · #9708

Prohashing have many problem but I believe much profit that I can get from this pool when the pool online and stable.

How about you read a little further back where I told you that any idoit should understand what’s happening and an email should be unnecessary?

GregoryGHarding · · #9710

youre just here to troll and bitch, your atitude gets you on my ignore list. enjoy chating to yourself

Tom3 · · #9711

libob: technical issues of miners can cost you a lot of time which is not available for chatting. As well as reading posts for month. And anyway, there was always a problem. But also have to say profit was not better and also not worse than other pools. And that is what count. And the statistics and everything is great. And I guess nobody is bitching and we know the work which is behind running a pool. But finally, if it is your income to feed the family or even part of your income I guess it is important that something works and if even failover pool not sense the failures one has a real problem.

LMC · · #9712

GregoryGHarding wrote: youre just here to troll and bitch, your atitude gets you on my ignore list. enjoy chating to yourself
Feeling is mutual. You’re just a waste of space who gets pizzas delivered to the table beside his computer and never actually achieves anything except to add smart comments in chat rooms.

Tom3 · · #9713

And Gregy, with what kind of machine are you mining on this pool

FRISKIE · · #9714

I missed all of this . . L O fucking L !! amusing trolls, guys, take my example and don't feed them, please :) . . now I'll get back to making some profits. NOTE: If anyone has constructive comments, I'm here as usual ;)

FRISKIE · · #9715

GGH I'm on the slack, a little busy atm though with other stuff ..

GregoryGHarding · · #9716

pilottage · · #9717

greg and friskie tha LASCARDS of voidness

pilottage · · #9718

to the looser ent people I make profit on 1 cent Mhash.... you pay 80% of your earnings to the actual owner of the hardware you rent... if it’s not a looser business I dont know what it is?

pilottage · · #9719

and YES this site IS BUGGED

lilbob · · #9720

ah yes agreed pilot, if renting the profit line is quite slim. but it still works with patience. j’utilise qqle machine a la maison pour faire du solo, mais qqle commandes de NH pour PH en mode vdiff generale

Tom3 · · #9721

pilottage: not to hard pls, they won’t rent my hardware anymore ...

lilbob · · #9722

ok i have no beef. real question though, why rent out your machines if they are ROI already? wouldnt targeting specific coins in solo be more profitable for you?

Tom3 · · #9723

good question. Depends your political and financial strategie and Coins you like or believe in ... so difficult to answer in general. For me I change 90% in Bitcoin and have mostly ASIC mining bitcoin and here solo mining I never did. But I get paid part of a block and transaction fees

Tom3 · · #9724

And NH is crazzy today. Seldom mine Quark with 0.0163! Maybe keeps for some minutes ....

lilbob · · #9725

hehe next month is going to be wild

mickeekung · · #9735

Sabaidee kub I love you

Tom3 · · #9736

Thank you Friskie. I am sure none of you are either bad or stupid. This business is hard. And if you mine with many miners you will have to overcome a lot of problems like heat, electricity, location, technical problems, but, it is worth to do. Actually I really made always good BTC with PH. It is a sad all this problems.

FRISKIE · · #9737

Agreed. Tomorrow Chris is meeting with another Telco provider to discuss a contract, and hopefully they will move over to a provider offering solid service.

FRISKIE · · #9738

Steve has mentioned that the move would allow to cut javapipe out, who have been a great help most of the time, but also have problems themselves from time to time.

joshn712 · · #9740

Hello Last night someone said that PH issues 1 share a minute? is that correct? so given the A4’s here and the few shares they take would one guess they are rebooting?

i suck at this

GregoryGHarding · · #9743

it will dynamically adjust your difficulty so you on average submit once a minute

lilbob · · #9744

ya just had a glitch there

mickeekung · · #9745

What wrong with the pool?

joshn712 · · #9746

Well I see my issue not sure what is going on, The older 1.0.3 versions when looking at pool stats is sha256 on the pool stats. That is strange, all the rest are on scrypt..

GregoryGHarding · · #9747

dos

siberianbreaks · · #9748
