Last night I also switched all our coins to be on a separate connection at coins.prohashing.com so the stratum interface and website should be less susceptible to overloading
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:06 PM UTC · #9298
what's the mitigation for now?
Chris Sokolowski · Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:07 PM UTC · #9299
I don’t know, they changed something on their end that fixed it
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:11 PM UTC · #9300
Not yet, still big issues, NH order ran good for a while then 100% rejects again
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:11 PM UTC · #9301
chris, when a coin in in error or not synced, it connects to stratum and shows up as scrypt with a diff or 16k
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:12 PM UTC · #9302
is it possible for stratum to disconnect instead so my failover to pps works
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:13 PM UTC · #9303
Better get back to them at Javapipe, things are definitely still wacko over there
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:23 PM UTC · #9305
Guys, I wouldnt be attempting to mine right now, or if you do, then monitor the performance real closely
mmfiore · Tue Jun 27, 2017 12:51 PM UTC · #9306
I am Still having connection problems. Had to switch miners until the all clear is given.
lilbob · Tue Jun 27, 2017 01:19 PM UTC · #9308
series of rejected shares
JoeTheMiner · Tue Jun 27, 2017 01:22 PM UTC · #9310
@ Chris Sokolowski: Still having issues with over 50% deltas on Nicehash.
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:10 PM UTC · #9314
holy crap, what happened to the site overnight???
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:15 PM UTC · #9317
ive got a bunch of pending blocks too..
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:15 PM UTC · #9318
heres to hoping they dont go stale
UPSoft · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:20 PM UTC · #9321
PLZ STOP MINIG SERVER! Its not working my miners jumps from 1 pool to other! I cant get profith smooth!!! I loose hashrate
UPSoft · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:21 PM UTC · #9322
start it when u solve all problems! i loose money.
AvPro · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:23 PM UTC · #9323
Before i connect again, are we any better than 50% reject?
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:27 PM UTC · #9324
Moment AvPro , I'll start a really low hashrate "probe" and test
AvPro · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:27 PM UTC · #9325
Something’s happening 163cent profit hah! Probably a backlog of blocks or shares
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 03:30 PM UTC · #9326
@UPSoft : how about you move to backup until things are fixed instead of coming here and making demands
AvPro · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #9328
Things ran so smooth the 48 hours prior, such a shame being plauged
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:30 PM UTC · #9330
thier having issues with javapipe, if youre planning to make a NH order, wait for the all clear from the team
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #9331
well the forum server seems to be alive again
AvPro · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #9332
ive connected a scrypt miner - will let you know
topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #9333
I move my miners to nicehash now. Waiting for stable prohasing pool
topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:40 PM UTC · #9335
Ok. I will move one of my miners to PH
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:40 PM UTC · #9336
I have a NH order in for several minutes, so far so good
AvPro · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #9337
the loads of stales I was getting earlier have gone we could be back to normal
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #9338
it is amazing how fast the bots take over
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #9339
I’ll let my miners run for a while and see
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #9340
NH order still running smoothly
tmopar · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #9341
I have failover issues too... i have noticed that sometimes when nicehash goes down, it "stays up" just enough to keep the 2nd failover pool from working correctly... seen this issue mainly on bfgminer pieces....
Forum notification · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #9342
tmopar · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #9343
said nice, meant prohashing, my humble apologies.
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #9344
does any one else have issues with the new NH pages I got to login on old some links take me to the new where I login in again,etc..
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #9346
i use CGminer, if a coin i solo is in error, it will stay connected to the pool and mark as scrypt @ 16k Diff, stopping my failover from going into pps multi mode
topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:49 PM UTC · #9348
NH works good. 0.0273 btc from l3+
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #9349
does any one else have issues with the new NH pages Yes, it's a poorly cobbled together piece of garbage, with inconsistencies throughout. Unbelievable for a site where so much money cycles through, huge loss of confidence in them now
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:52 PM UTC · #9350
Login to the new NH portal and try to access your orders
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #9351
miners... all they do is complain
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #9352
hehe, the new NH site is really a mess though, deserves to be called out
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:57 PM UTC · #9353
well actually, if your ordering from NH youre not even a miner
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:57 PM UTC · #9354
Miner Posers... all they do is complain
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #9355
OMG . . I'm a . . "Fake Miner"
!!
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:00 PM UTC · #9356
hehe as long as profit comes out the other end I'm ok with any labels
GregoryGHarding · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:00 PM UTC · #9357
and if it dont they bitch and complain
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:00 PM UTC · #9359
oh I have miners and NH as well,if I had some money on NH before everyone got back on someone could have made some money , on well missed the boat as per norm
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:01 PM UTC · #9361
sounds alot like a gambler to me ? mining on NH?
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #9363
I actually make money there, even with the aggressive bots, but I'm careful. I test the server first with the lowest allowable hashrate, like a probe
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:04 PM UTC · #9364
And monitor PH profitability, look at the already existing Fixed orders, see what they are, get an idea of the possible low-point
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #9365
Then set both a Fixed order and a Standard order , the Standard one at a much lower price level. Then the Fixed order will get the action during high profitability, when the bots grab all the miners up, and on low profit periods, the Standard order gets some action, and offsets the low profit by mining at a cheap price
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #9366
well as an example about 1hr ago you could have gotten a NH rate of 0.0399 ish and made @2x times that or better for 1 hr
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:07 PM UTC · #9367
F #3180779 0.0373 5.00 13 5.8398
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:07 PM UTC · #9369
Managed to catch a 5Ghz order at 0.0373
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:07 PM UTC · #9370
got 20~40Gh would have been sweet, normally when I do a fixed anymore I go 24hrs at a time just to get the average, @FRISKIE : you did good, where I didn’t have a payout this morning I couldn’t get things into place before work
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:08 PM UTC · #9371
yea order price is directly related to if this site is working or not well (98% of the time)
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:09 PM UTC · #9372
Yeah, I wanted to have 10 Ghz going, I usually set a fixed on each side, and a Standard on each side for those low profit moments, but the bots kicked in before I could get the 2nd one
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #9373
SO I only managed 1 order of 5Ghz
At least its a decent price though, I'll run it the full 24 hours to squeeze some profit out (unless things start acting up again)
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:12 PM UTC · #9374
yea order price is directly related to if this site is working or not well Order price is ties to prohashing profit levels, NH monitors the prohashing WAMP data, watch when our profit is down here, NH prices are too, profit here rises, the bots on NH kick in
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:12 PM UTC · #9375
Hey, pop back over to NH, you can get a good proce
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:16 PM UTC · #9377
@FRISKIE : thanks got on in 385
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:16 PM UTC · #9378
That should be profitable, if the servers continue running so smoothly
tmopar · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:17 PM UTC · #9379
how much in fees does it cost you to do a NH order?
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:17 PM UTC · #9380
I think it's somethig like 3%
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:17 PM UTC · #9381
0.0001 BTC per order, plus a small percentage of your total purchase
FRISKIE · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:18 PM UTC · #9383
yeah, it's the % of total thats a pain
VanessaEzekowitz · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:18 PM UTC · #9384
I believe it’s 3%; the 0.0001 BTC is non-refundable, the 3% is charged as the order runs, so if you cancel it, you get it back
mjgraham · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:18 PM UTC · #9385
the .0001 is nonrefundable if one share makes it in, it is basically 3%
AvPro · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:21 PM UTC · #9389
Can you use back up pools on mining rig rentals
topkhodon · Tue Jun 27, 2017 05:24 PM UTC · #9391
On mine site earnings not grow...

I connect one L3+ to PH. Others to NH.
