I looked into reviews of the fundamentals, and was left with the impression that there are none, and the whole thing revolves around slick promotion and promises of nice rewards, which so far at least has attracted the predictable flow of easy money seekers . . hope it's an endless flow
fattygrub · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:17 PM UTC · #8897
difference on BCC between novaexchange and official BCC exchange is only about $0.75 right now.
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:17 PM UTC · #8898
For some reason BCC blocks really shoot the average profit way up, wish we would find a pile of BCC blocks now, profitability is not that good so far today
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:18 PM UTC · #8899
Decent arbitrage if bought in sufficient numbers though
tmopar · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:18 PM UTC · #8900
i actually found one yesterday... 500+ usd
tmopar · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:19 PM UTC · #8906
it was well north of 500 usd
tmopar · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:19 PM UTC · #8907
i will be honest with you, i have been thinkin about just soloing those
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:19 PM UTC · #8908
Yeah that's an example of what I mean, the blocks yield crazy big profit
mickeekung · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:20 PM UTC · #8909
Nicehash Scrypt delta raise a bit today.
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:21 PM UTC · #8910
i have been thinkin about just soloing those you know, it might turn out to be a profitable strategy to point a lot of NH hash power at BCC solo mined
tmopar · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:21 PM UTC · #8911
I agree, I have about 800 mhash, and the site said i should do one in 7 hours or so
tmopar · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:21 PM UTC · #8912
i am going to try that today
fattygrub · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:22 PM UTC · #8913
something is weird again...everyone at US nicehas is shooting up to .0411 while were stalling around 0.0310 ish.
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:22 PM UTC · #8914
Nicehash Scrypt delta raise a bit today. I know, I'm on the very edge of having to abandon NH , the bots have pushed the price up to the point that if anything goes wrong, the profits are gone
mickeekung · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:22 PM UTC · #8915
Scrypt: 78.85¢ · 0.00033797 BTC · 727.65 GH/s
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:22 PM UTC · #8916
wooooooohooooooooooooooooooo
mickeekung · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:23 PM UTC · #8918
HOORAY We are mining bcc right now.
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:23 PM UTC · #8920
it's these periods that save an otherwise dismal day of mining . .
tmopar · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:24 PM UTC · #8921
so i remember reading... if there is an orphanblock... it actually is more profitable here .... there is some kind of multiplier
tmopar · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:24 PM UTC · #8923
i think when it spikes to crazy amoutns like that, its a series of orphaned blocks
mickeekung · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:24 PM UTC · #8924
Scrypt Nicehash fixed price is 0.1066 / N/A * What is this? This is the first time NH show N/A on his fixed price.
fattygrub · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:24 PM UTC · #8926
uhoh.... i was this close to --> <-- cancelling my fixed order I’ve held onto since 6am!
Nalith · Mon Jun 26, 2017 03:30 PM UTC · #8928

FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #8932

FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #8933

Did anybody notice the exchanges ? a lot of alt-lite-coins are 2 figures in red today. is this the beginning of the end ? ....like the bros. here predicted...
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #8935
Nahh . . these coins could all use a good correction, 1/3 of value would feel about right,, the smart money is just waiting for the bottom to buy back in
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #8936
The quick money, get rich quick dreamers are panic selling right now and running away back to their safe world of NASDAQ and FTSE
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #8939
It's very interesting that ETH and BTC are doing about equal volume trading, quite high too at around 350 million
mickeekung · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:52 PM UTC · #8940
ZEC and DASH DOGE XMR LTC ETC almost coins are dropping down. What happen?
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #8941
Just a long overdue correction, this one happens to get the "herd mentality" and all the weak nerved, and especially inexperienced investors, they are all stampeding for the exits
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #8942
I'm really glad for this, will return some sanity to the market and scare off a good bit of those easy money seekers that have been messing things up for the rest of us
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #8943
And, woohoo . . wait wait wait for the bottom, and buy!
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:56 PM UTC · #8944
That's exactly what the smart money will do, it's clear that we're nowhere near the bottom yet so the smart money is still on the sidelines, at a certain point though they'll buy back into the market at a big discount
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #8945
BItcoin is holding up relatively well compared to other top coins, provides a great opportunity to exchange some BTC for ETH or LTC (or several others) for bargains
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:05 PM UTC · #8946
im still banking on ltc after aug
vhmanu · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #8948
everything at a discount. yummy
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:06 PM UTC · #8949
after the 10cent eth crash, im not sure the trust is there anymore
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:07 PM UTC · #8950
meh . . flash crash is accepted part of the risk with highly automated trading systems,
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:07 PM UTC · #8951
Though I do share your LTC optimism
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:09 PM UTC · #8952
And there's the odd LTC announcement from MIT scheduled at the same time as the BTC fork , anyone know what thats about?
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:10 PM UTC · #8953
@ GregoryGHarding - I know you liked it better when I was locked out
hehe
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:11 PM UTC · #8955
@FRISKIE : youre growing on me...
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:11 PM UTC · #8957

VanessaEzekowitz · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:11 PM UTC · #8959
Oh G*d, there goes the neighborhood
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:12 PM UTC · #8960
"your parents will love me, your neighbours wont.."
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:14 PM UTC · #8962
i reallt wish chat links would open in a new tab
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:15 PM UTC · #8963
interesting.. "technology release"
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:15 PM UTC · #8965
It's probably just a fake and I am guilty of proliferating bullshit
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:16 PM UTC · #8967
van, i know about that. im just saying
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:18 PM UTC · #8970
My guess is LTC dips below 30 and will be a rally, and for sure if ETH touches 200 it will rally
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:19 PM UTC · #8971
frisk that "real" link is related to their lightning node software
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:19 PM UTC · #8973
Yes, the reddit user has said that MIT students confirmed that this is the page for the "real" work they are doing with LTC
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:20 PM UTC · #8974
ok, technically it "related to LTC" in the near future. is that a better characterization?
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:21 PM UTC · #8975
the github was updates 3 days ago, if you wanna break down the commit notes you might figure it out
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:22 PM UTC · #8976
not into it that much, was just wondering if anyone else heard of that wierd LTC / MIT page, then kinda regretted bringing it up at all, as its probably a fake
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:26 PM UTC · #8980
I admit that I'd rather it was legit, the timing is perfect
frphm · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:27 PM UTC · #8981
If it was fake, it could be an experiment in trying to manipulate the market into inflating LTC value leading up to the conclusion of the countdown
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:28 PM UTC · #8982
right, but it doesnt seem to be having much effect today
GregoryGHarding · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:28 PM UTC · #8983
mit owns litecoin, mit wouldnt do that
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:30 PM UTC · #8986
mit owns litecoin how do you mean?
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:31 PM UTC · #8987
I mean, no one or no thing actually owns it, except everyone that owns pieces of it
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:31 PM UTC · #8988
copyright to the name and logo?
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:32 PM UTC · #8991
no man, really trying to understand
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:33 PM UTC · #8992
I did look it up and see that Litecoin operates under the MIT/X11 license
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:34 PM UTC · #8994
So yeah, I did learn something new, I didn't even know what the MIT/X11 license is until now
FRISKIE · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:35 PM UTC · #8995
Thanks GGH for luring me into knowledge
