I had not tried the difficulty option in the cp. I will try that
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #8699
nvm I was wrong. I didnt realize it switched to the backup pool
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:04 PM UTC · #8701
Very weird. Nothing seems to be helping. Guess ill go back to a normal pool until I can figure it out
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:19 PM UTC · #8702
I can mine on f2pool with 0.4% rejection. Seems multipool and prohashing do not play nice with A4’s. 20-40% rejection is just not going to work well. Ill reply on that forum and see if anyone has ideas there.
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #8703
have you tried h= to minimize coin switching?
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:23 PM UTC · #8706
make sure your software is set to submit stale shares anyway, because they may contain fresh merge mined coin
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #8707
I tried d=32768 h=50 g=off n=1 and d=65536 h=50 g=off n=1 etc
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #8708
you cant change any of the software in the A4’s
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #8709
no way to get into it to tell it to submit anyways
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:25 PM UTC · #8712
that is what the form on here said to try for the A4. I will try 1000
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:26 PM UTC · #8714
test h= first, keep d= at your standard
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:31 PM UTC · #8717
what is your complete password arg
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:32 PM UTC · #8718
I just did h=1000 n=a4 right now. Removed the rest to see if h helped
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #8719
for the record you dont need g= thats for cloud mining only
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #8720
also try h=100 but give it time to find its dynamic diff
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:36 PM UTC · #8722
or set a static diff thats worked in the past

WAMP question: anyone noticed a difference between the balance reported on the earnings section of the website and the balance reported by the "f_all_balance_updates" WAMP call?
Maznoz · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #8725
My balance on the website seems to be about 15% - 20% higher than the balance reported by the WAMP call.
AvPro · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #8726
Yes API balance query and the website do not match. I think it’s a known issues as it stands
Maznoz · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #8727
Ok, good to know. This basically makes the balance part of the API useless
Maznoz · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:49 PM UTC · #8729
Maybe restore the REST API until this issue is fixed?
AvPro · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #8731
I thought about zero the balance at midnight and count up from the sequential balance updates over WAMP. But any break in connection I think would throw off your count
Maznoz · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #8732
Yep, and currently there are random disconnects from WAMP. So that most likely will not work.
AvPro · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:52 PM UTC · #8733
We’re in same boat for now
Maznoz · Sun Jun 25, 2017 04:52 PM UTC · #8734
Looking forward to the ticketing system. This will provide a clear overview of outstanding issues and hopefully provides us users with a mechanism to indicate priority.

It turns out that for people with dollar payouts enabled, the value of the dollar payouts is being subtracted from all coin balances
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:17 PM UTC · #8737
in addition, there is a second bug where, for people with dollar payouts, the balance displayed on the website for bitcoins is incorrect
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:18 PM UTC · #8738
the code is already done and both of these will be included in the July 2 release
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:22 PM UTC · #8739
anyone else notice miners are not showing up under live worker?
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:22 PM UTC · #8740
then a few refreshes and its back
Maznoz · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:23 PM UTC · #8742
@Steven Ok, sounds good. I don’t have dollar payouts enables so don’t know if my issue is the same though...
nameisis · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:24 PM UTC · #8743
What are you plp using for pw arguments for L3+?
ap1318 · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:26 PM UTC · #8745
wish i could help but I can’t figure out the best pw arguments for the a4. If you find some that work let me know
mmfiore · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:44 PM UTC · #8746
So far things are looking good at the Pool all miners are connected and running well. Thanks Chris and Steve for all your hardwork.
mmfiore · Sun Jun 25, 2017 05:45 PM UTC · #8747
Its great not having to worry about the DDOS attacks.
mjgraham · Sun Jun 25, 2017 06:30 PM UTC · #8748
@ap1318 : what version of the A4 you running , batch ?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Jun 25, 2017 06:37 PM UTC · #8749
It’s possible that DDoS attacks could have been happening for months or years, and they were just never bad enough to cause a complete outage.
mjgraham · Sun Jun 25, 2017 06:39 PM UTC · #8751
@nameisis : you having any problems out of yours?

Good morning I sent this to NH
taka · Mon Jun 26, 2017 12:16 AM UTC · #8764
After becoming a new site, the first one can not do any order in fixed order at the time of ordering. Secondly, only standard order can be done, but at that time NH exits 30 G, but in the pool only 15 G is out. This is the same in other pools.
VanessaEzekowitz · Mon Jun 26, 2017 12:22 AM UTC · #8765
taka, you probably need to direct your feedback at Nicehash themselves then, and not here, or no one will be able to correct your problem.
VanessaEzekowitz · Mon Jun 26, 2017 01:25 AM UTC · #8769

Greg, nonono that’s voodoo dolls, not trolls
Tom3 · Mon Jun 26, 2017 05:24 AM UTC · #8784
I know prohashing since years. Mining with your Pool in between again and again. So I faced the problems of down time again and again. Still I like your Pool very much. But I simply don’t believe in this DDos Attacks and for sure not for years. And then their are some DDoS Services checking Browser for entering side. I feel bit stupid about this DDoS Attacks talks.
