sirslayerjr · · #5370

thats better

sirslayerjr · · #5371

and every 600 seconds you can drop the price one increment down

sirslayerjr · · #5372

if you have deposit more then .02 it would be safe to cancel since 0.01 is the min for an order

sirslayerjr · · #5373

now watch the prices goes up when prohahsing goes over 10 cent or more

sirslayerjr · · #5374

if it does then just keep your order and it will go back down

sirslayerjr · · #5375

usually when its over 10 cent rate.. the prohashing bots goes crazy and they end up out bidding each other till the prices are to high.. it last only a min

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5376

I’m not too worried. This is all an experiment for me anyways, at least compared to the gridseeds I usually run

sirslayerjr · · #5377

i have a few gridseeds.. im surprise you got them to work .. i use my gridseed on my 42 node server

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5378

Well, you’re welcome to send them my way ;) I have 6 little orbs and three blades. As long as they get clean power and the pool isn’t being stupid :P they work fine

sirslayerjr · · #5379

well its the good time since im the few individuals that are not using bots to make orders.. bot operators tend to lead you to favor them and but you in a bind. i love my gridseed

sirslayerjr · · #5380

put you in a bind is what i ment

sirslayerjr · · #5381

i have 5 gridseeds gs3353

sirslayerjr · · #5382

and you can use them to mine off your own wallet at home

sirslayerjr · · #5383

like how one user trying to say 0.0318 is good... its not because they know its cheaper then that and it eliminates competition

sirslayerjr · · #5384

now prices at nicehash at 0.0221 , alot better .. bots must be taking a break.. hehehe

GregoryGHarding · · #5385

anyone take note of ltc price today?

sirslayerjr · · #5386

its good , went up a few percents. dotcoin was doing very well 110 percent all last week

fattygrub · · #5387

the best i could get for a Fixed order at nicehash today wash .0318. so far at +7% today. The Standard orders are not working for me. Too much monitoring and trying to move order price up and down. Cancelling too may orders costs too much. I know how the bots are doing it but i can’t see profitable math in the bots.

sirslayerjr · · #5388

thats why you find a medium.. 0.027 is the medium right now.. can be lower.. and the prices will go down after a few minutes of bots fighting each other the prices always go back down

sirslayerjr · · #5389

i stopped chasing the bots prices after i realized their game.. find a medium price and try to go down.. not that much to go down though.. nicehash have a policy about price stepping and a few individuals here are breaking nicehash polices

sirslayerjr · · #5390

i cant point fingers on who but early today i think i found a few

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5391

so, my order is at a certain price, suddenly I see a whole bunch of updates to the spots below my price, with the lowest one being quite a bit lower than my existing order... do I cancel my order and place one at the lower prices, or stay where I am? this is what confuses me about nicehash

fattygrub · · #5392

yeah i know but then i only get locked onto miners about half the time. when i have more volume that will work. right now i’m trying to run everything through strict 24 hours cycles so i can more easily monitor profit/loss.

sirslayerjr · · #5393

stay where you at... unless you want to open an other order and have 2 orders .. one at low and the current at where it lays on

sirslayerjr · · #5394

you can learn alot with two orders

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5395

That’s what I thought.

sirslayerjr · · #5396

i would just 600 second drop on that order

fattygrub · · #5397

i agree with sirslayerjr. chasing the bots up and down doesn’t work for me. i am working on my own now with the intention of evening out the ups and down. i don’t know where todays bots were getting their data but they were *behind* the curve almost every movement since 3:00am this morning.

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5398

So how do you determine what the "sweet spot" is anyway? (my current order’s down to 0.0266 at the moment)

sirslayerjr · · #5399

good

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5400

...well it was. had to bump it up a bit

sirslayerjr · · #5401

the sweet spot would be involved a lot observation vs user on nicehash vs user on prohashing vs the starting standard price and other varibles .. im just figured out the nichhash end prohashing end a lot harder because of a lot of competition so their would be a lot od misinformation

sirslayerjr · · #5402

and the 3 years mining at nicehash helps

sirslayerjr · · #5403

i think the prohashing bots are going to hurt this site in the long term but evening the brothers who manages dont know if this site is permanent.. they are right , we are in a mining bubble and it will crash any day

sirslayerjr · · #5404

i would like to know the sweet spot also.. but i do know that rentals at nicehash was at 0.02 for scrypt for the longest time and since the litecoin swig came up.. rentals were at 0.07 standard and went down finally

fattygrub · · #5405

we may be in a mining bubble but once you have your tools and experience in hand, will it matter? isn’t digital currency permanent now?

sirslayerjr · · #5406

yes but not mining.... there would be a day where all cins are mined then whats next.. make more coins.. in the crypto world this is the second part.. designed more coins... eth, zcash is example.. after that .. bookends for your gridseeds

sirslayerjr · · #5407

coins*

fattygrub · · #5408

right, so once the "good" ones are mined out then there’s only fees and trading on those that are left. when, do you think, is "that day" i think we have at least a couple years left. Bill Gates himself (i.m no fan, btw) said Bitcoin will never go away.

sirslayerjr · · #5409

yup like the 42-coin world.. all are mined and its just trading and fess.. its a glimpse of the future bitcoin world

sirslayerjr · · #5410

but the designing of new coins will one day, its part of dragging the bubble where its at.. investor are hoping for the ultimate coin and bitcoin was here the whole time

fattygrub · · #5411

it makes me wonder (and know think i know since i started into this) , who is USING all these altcoins. I think none except miners and traders. the ONLY reason to mine or trade altcoins is to trade for bitcoins to trade for US dollars or gold.

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5412

annnnnd...the bots pretty much killed the "standard" orders. had to go back to a fixed order (at 0.0315) to avoid chasing and actually get some hashes :-/

frphm · · #5413

It’s just another commodity to trade.

fattygrub · · #5414

VanessaEzekowitz ..i just got .0316... you must be more patient hen me..arrg :)

fattygrub · · #5415

than me

sirslayerjr · · #5416

well , dont be impatient .. youll might not make a decent earning .. its the bots are screwing prohashing user and noting can be done but to be aware and beat their game..

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5417

I am patient to a fault, but in this case I think I just got relative lucky

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5418

relatively*

tmopar · · #5419

the bots?

sirslayerjr · · #5420

i rather have no miners at 0.027 and come back tomorrow and see what it done.. lucky is not a skilled trait and you might of well gamble at las vegas.

sirslayerjr · · #5421

fix rates are good if there were no bots

tmopar · · #5422

ethereum is really different from bitcoin... I have been looking into it and except for its goofy wallet its design looks promising

tmopar · · #5423

youre saying nice hash is killing humans with bots?

sirslayerjr · · #5424

zcash is evening odder..

sirslayerjr · · #5425

no, they are hurting my wallet

tmopar · · #5426

there comes a point my friend when you will have to get some skin in the game and get miners....

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5427

tmopar, there’s is definitely some kind of price manipulation going on on nicehash, and there appears to be a correlation with the price/MHs shown here.

GregoryGHarding · · #5428

vanessa dont tell me slayer corrupted you too

sirslayerjr · · #5429

i mined at home.. i discovered this site 7 months ago and renting at nicehash wasnt an option till i discoverd this site.. it was easy to earn with nicehash which was rare.. bots ruined it.. i was making 300 usd a day.. last night only $125

GregoryGHarding · · #5430

dont listen to what slayer has to say, its simply an opinion, an incorrect opinion

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5431

Greg, I am basing my commentary on my own observations of the two sites, not on anything sirslayer et al. have had to say.

sirslayerjr · · #5432

thank you

GregoryGHarding · · #5433

its profitability overall nothing to do with prohashing

GregoryGHarding · · #5434

any exchange has these same profitbility numbers

VanessaEzekowitz · · #5435

Greg, that was my assumption as well. The prices shown here are merely a good reference, not the "cause", however, there is most definitely bot activity over on nicehash.

sirslayerjr · · #5436

greg bug off , youre hurting the users on this site

GregoryGHarding · · #5437

nicehas manulipiates their miners prives based on market values and profitaability @ 1mh/s just like anywhere else

sirslayerjr · · #5438

i think you mean well but your only on your side

GregoryGHarding · · #5439

it says in their own TOS they manipulate the price only to remain profitable

sirslayerjr · · #5440

here is a link for this site under development .. make your own bot

sirslayerjr · · #5441

sirslayerjr · · #5442

some of those bots are really out of control and we need a form of control so it cant be abused

GregoryGHarding · · #5443

Is NiceHash competing with customer's buying orders? No, we generally do not submit our own buying orders. We are striving towards open market for all buyers and bidders for hashing power. The only exception for placing our own buying orders is when paying price for miners is significantly below ideal 100% luck mining for Scrypt and SHA256 algorithms. The sole reason for this is to provide the minimum satisfactory paying rate for sellers (miners) which are otherwise not interested in providing their hashing power when paying price is significantly below ideal 100% luck mining (consequently less hashing power would be available for hashing power buyers).

GregoryGHarding · · #5444

straight from the horses mouth

GregoryGHarding · · #5445

Paraphrase: "no, but yes"

GregoryGHarding · · #5446

slayer.. its clear you dont know what a wamp api is

sirslayerjr · · #5447

ill google it , and your still an idiot ..

GregoryGHarding · · #5448

im an idiot because you dont know what youre talking about? ok

sirslayerjr · · #5449

observation is the key.... try it someday

sirslayerjr · · #5450

nobody wants to hear your b.s. . .this is forum and we are free to chat about prohahsing.. either chat or leave so nobody what s to hear youe bs.. we are sharing observation

GregoryGHarding · · #5451

lol

sirslayerjr · · #5452

and if yo want to join... we notices a few rouge user that are abusing their bots

sirslayerjr · · #5453

when prohashing rates goes up so the number of bots out biding each other.. watch and learn

GregoryGHarding · · #5454

THERE IS NO PROHASHING BOT. oh my god man

GregoryGHarding · · #5455

steve and chris will tell you the same thing

sirslayerjr · · #5456

you own nicehash??

GregoryGHarding · · #5457

prohashing has nothing to do with nichash

sirslayerjr · · #5458

do they, no they work with them... like i said there are a few rouge users who are taking it to a new level.. it happens accept it

GregoryGHarding · · #5459

nicehash is a mining rental service, prohashing is a scrypt and x11 pool

GregoryGHarding · · #5460

youre legitimately crazy

sirslayerjr · · #5461

and you just found out?

GregoryGHarding · · #5462

you need a dunce or a tinfoil hat, not sure which

sirslayerjr · · #5463

and your an idiot to believe that

sirslayerjr · · #5464

please keep the topic about prohashing

GregoryGHarding · · #5465

nicehashbots are on their own. has nothing to do with here, they can get profitability from numerous places. and NOTHING to do with prohashing

sirslayerjr · · #5466

dont get but hurt on what you read from us..

GregoryGHarding · · #5467

exactly, stay on fucking topic, prohashing colluding with nicehash is off topic, and wrong

sirslayerjr · · #5468

i think steves posting say it Write NiceHash bot, make lots of profit

GregoryGHarding · · #5469

do you see any bot written... it was a suggestion for the new implementation of WAMP API IT DONES NOT EXIST
