Is this what you mean? example: ETA: ~0d 2h 3m ? If yes, you may have mistaken the tilde for a minus sign?
frphm · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:27 PM UTC · #5272
Prohashing’s cents per Mh/s compared to the duration that it is saying. If I put in 0.0326 BTC/GH/Day, Pay 1 BTC, and limit to 5 GH, it says that order would last 147.24 hours. So, spending $2,900 (1BTC) for 6.135 days of ~8 cents per MH on Prohashing. That’s $2,454. Negative return. I’m doing something wrong, right?
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:30 PM UTC · #5273
What really counts is to start an order with some amount of BTC, point it over here to Prohashing, and see what comes out the other end. If more comes out than goes in, you made a profit
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:31 PM UTC · #5274
If you are Scrypt mining I can give you the password arguments that I am using to turn in a nice profit.
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:31 PM UTC · #5275
0.0326 is to high of a price to rent .. 0.02 is better
frphm · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:32 PM UTC · #5276
Friskie that would be amazing if you don’t mind
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:33 PM UTC · #5277
Today you'll be able to get a price of 0.0319 if you wait for it, this can be profitable with the "right" password arguments to tame Prohashing's coin switching -this avoids too much NH penalties, they hate fast coin switching
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:33 PM UTC · #5278
Pass these arguments in your order: d=8192 h=1000 g=off
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:33 PM UTC · #5280
im at 0.028 , thats where you doing wrong
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:34 PM UTC · #5281
And wait for the price to drop to 0.0319 before you place the order
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:34 PM UTC · #5282
Right, you're placing Standard orders
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:34 PM UTC · #5284
But they will turn out to be more headache than they are worth
Those price setting orders will steal all your miners and drive you nuts!
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:35 PM UTC · #5285
if it drops because of demand , it will take a bit longer to finish your order
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:37 PM UTC · #5286
If you're loading more than minimum amounts of BTC I would recommend you set a Fixed type order, and grab the 0.0319 price, with those PW arguments I gave you it will be profitable. Otherwise you can find that sweet-spot with a Standard order where it picks up enough enough miners, often enough, to be worth it.
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:39 PM UTC · #5288
Scrypt: 23.48¢
wow , hehe not with that kind of profit
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:39 PM UTC · #5289
but you have your methods and if it works .. then good luck
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:40 PM UTC · #5290
But yeah, I agree with you and if it weren't for needing to run a couple of orders all day I'd be right in their with you, working with Standard orders
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:40 PM UTC · #5291
23.48 for only 40 seconds long
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:40 PM UTC · #5292
And the luck has indeed been good, the day has turned out a nice profit and I was able to do it "set it and forget it" style
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:41 PM UTC · #5293
i get your madness friskie.. its about luck
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:41 PM UTC · #5294
Uhum, when it switches periodically to BCC the profit jumps dramatically
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:42 PM UTC · #5295
With me I'm looking at the average over an entire day and how much profit comes out the other end vs how much effort and attention I have to devote.
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:43 PM UTC · #5297
due yo prohashing/nicehash bots
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:43 PM UTC · #5298
By the way, you'll see the pattern that during the week the prices for Fixed orders drops lower
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:44 PM UTC · #5300
Not sure the high prices have anything to do with Prohashing
. . but definitely NH own Nicehashbot is at use with the price fixing activity
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:44 PM UTC · #5301
yes , its the prohashing bots are causing it to go up
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:45 PM UTC · #5302
yes , its the prohashing bots are causing it to go up Care to elaborate?
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:45 PM UTC · #5303
when rates at 24.38 it went over 0.04 on nicehash its is prohashing bots are causing the issue we just seen it just now
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:46 PM UTC · #5304
now scrypt drop to 9 cents the price for rentals will go down
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:47 PM UTC · #5305
it went down to 0.028.. just now it did
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:48 PM UTC · #5308
I would guess that to be coincidental
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:49 PM UTC · #5310
its the prohashing bots are screwing the nichhash prices
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:50 PM UTC · #5311
Okidok, I'm off to do other stuff for a while, peace.
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:50 PM UTC · #5313
well dont be blind on what you seen.. goood day
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 08:51 PM UTC · #5316
prices are going up on nicehash again
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:09 PM UTC · #5318
i thought nicehash has a policy on price stepping and prohashing bots are price steeping which cause higher prices
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:12 PM UTC · #5319
FRISKIE wrote: Okidok, I'm off to do other stuff for a while, peace. lol FRISKIE peacing out as to avoid argument over "prohashing bots"
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:13 PM UTC · #5321
and iwas right, we witness a bit of it
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:16 PM UTC · #5322
and my last words for the day, bots are causing a unfair advantage which us average users are being taken advantage
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:17 PM UTC · #5323
and my last words for the day, bots are causing a unfair advantage which us average users are being taken advantage but not Prohashing bots
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:17 PM UTC · #5324
lol FRISKIE peacing out as to avoid argument over "prohashing bots" !!
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:18 PM UTC · #5326
and you must be a bot operator

and my last words for the day FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:27 PM UTC · #5331
im a prohashing botter I knew it all along
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:28 PM UTC · #5333
if you strike me down i will become stronger than you could ever imagine
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:29 PM UTC · #5336
The force in this one strong it is!
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #5339
i wonder if he knows that not only are there no prohashing bots, but there is nothing TO bot on prohashing
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #5340
unless hes refering to algo's, and trying to do the math with a pen and paper
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:34 PM UTC · #5343
The idea came from a series of coincidentally synchronized price rises on NH that corresponded to Scrypt profit rise
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:35 PM UTC · #5344
nope just noticed a few individuals are breaking nicehash price stepping policies
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:36 PM UTC · #5345
@ sirslayerjr - no need to post combative comments mate - best would be to accept the guidance I gave earlier which described the behavior of the Nicehashbot price setting scheme, and accept that there truly are no Prohashing bots working with NH in this regard - in this way you will come out a bit wiser, and we all remain friends
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:38 PM UTC · #5346
im just a miner, i dont plan to make friends. ive stated some facts and i get idiots talking about star wars
FRISKIE · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:39 PM UTC · #5347
@ sirslayerjr - and with that last comment I am finished with you mate
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:39 PM UTC · #5348
please keep the content about prohashing.com
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:44 PM UTC · #5349
sure. theres nothing to bot on prohashing, therefore there ssre no prohashing bots
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:44 PM UTC · #5350
unless your refering to the forum bots we constatntly ban
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:45 PM UTC · #5351
we are all "just miners" but we are part of the prohashing community. if you choose to not be a part of that community, thats your calling. but you dont get to pick and choose your battles based on "alternative facts"
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:47 PM UTC · #5352
why dont you shut up and listen , maybe you might learn a few things..
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:47 PM UTC · #5353
yeah, im gonna take FRISKIE's approach and stop wasting my time
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:48 PM UTC · #5354
run to your friend, ill still be here talking about prohashing
GregoryGHarding · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:49 PM UTC · #5355
..always gotta have the last word
VanessaEzekowitz · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:50 PM UTC · #5356
Here’s to hoping my first nicehash order turns out to be profitable.
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:50 PM UTC · #5357
i just want to talk about prohashing and their nicehash bots and i get star wars and hate mail
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:51 PM UTC · #5358
as long you are renting at 0.028 or lesser.. youll do good
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:54 PM UTC · #5360
on nicehash , ive notice a trend where a few individuals can cause prices on nicehash to go way up.. when the scrypt rates on prohashing goes over 10 cents .. prices on nicehash goes up.. i try to start a rental when hash rates on prohashing is at 7 cents
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 09:55 PM UTC · #5361
then i would find rentals below 0.028
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 10:01 PM UTC · #5362
0.0319 i still think is a little high you can drop your price every 600 seconds on nichhash standard
VanessaEzekowitz · Sun Jun 11, 2017 10:01 PM UTC · #5363
(my last message didn’t go through? repeat:) I’ll let this order complete, then I’ll look for a lower price. I figure if I net at least what I spent, I’m happy, and I can try again later
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 10:02 PM UTC · #5364
i wish there was a prohashing to nicehash calculator
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 10:04 PM UTC · #5365
yes, try again and master the nicehash bidding and youll do good
VanessaEzekowitz · Sun Jun 11, 2017 10:04 PM UTC · #5366
Oh, this is a "Fixed" order, I’d have to cancel it or let it complete if I wanted to adjust the price.
sirslayerjr · Sun Jun 11, 2017 10:06 PM UTC · #5368
when your at standard bidding prices will change alot
VanessaEzekowitz · Sun Jun 11, 2017 10:07 PM UTC · #5369
there we go. canceled that one and placed a "standard" order at 0.0278.
