So ETH as we know it will soon pass into history as ETH2 gets closer and closer. Unlike the hard fork that allowed the original to become ETC and remain mineable this is an upgrade and PoW will not be available. Anyone want to share their plans on which crypto to move to? Looks like RVN or Ergo and maybe FLUX are the next best thing.
While I hate to see ETH go, I can’t help but get a laugh thinking how much Nvidia put into R&D to hash limit the 3000 series and the ETH dev do this change.
when millions of people are searching for an alternative, I’m sure something will rise up and take its place. But until then, we dont speak bad about our Ethash overlord!
my perspective is pretty limited due to just being onboard since May, but as often as it has been pushed back already, the current timeframe is still very questionable
So lets have fun and profit while it lasts. But about Nvidias evil plans, the lock is already hitting other algo like ERGO and afaik Nvidias long term plan is to get as many as they can
My earnings are off by about 20 dollars so far today. Not getting payouts in any wild buy/sell price coins(dingo/RDD). Should i submit a ticket or is this normal?
Coins occasionally go into error. Usually fixed within a couple hours. Occasionally a day or two with the exception of Iotex. Iotex has been in error since it was put up for payout.
Generally when a coin goes in error. % of earnings that should go to error coin gets split between ur other coins not in error. Once out of error everything goes back to normal.
The XRP network is currently having some widespread issues and our client is affected for payouts. We haven't found a solution yet, but we'll continue to investigate.
Howdy. On prohashing. Some of my miners are showing a lower hashrate than what it says on the miner firmware. Is this normal? It’s been the same for a while now.
I saw one article that suggested the "omnicron" covid variant caused trade behavior to favor less risk but not even that explains the nosedive the crypto market took.
Steven is planning to update Ethereum at some point this afternoon or tomorrow. It will only be down about 5 minutes, so if you notice that it’s down, wait a few minutes, and it should be good again.
-MaVerick- wrote: the random restarts are gone as it seems with that version, my zombie is running for almost 2 days now without any interruption. Hashrate is 0,2 MH less on those 1060s though. 2.73 is really a mixed bag
I’m leaning towards 2.72 being the more stable and productive of the latest releases...my cards run much cooler and mh/s seems a bit higher and steadier.. 88.75 mh/savg on both 3080 ti’s

so far gminer 2.74 seems more stable been running to 3080ti at 73% for 2 hrs with no lockk out. anything prior lasted minutes at most until it got down to 70.5-71%
You need to go the the payout setting for the coin you want. Check the box for custom payout threshold and then set when u want it to payout. If below the free level there will be a fee for the payout

So far that version has been very stable indeed. No lock cycle of death yet with my 3060ti and also the 3060 seems to like it. Also no unexpected restarts, looks promising.

That sounds about right. It’s a long wait the first time.

This version is even recovering the unlock % back up from 60 after a gaming settion without restarting the miner, something the other versions did not manage. Requires LHR mode 0 thoug, but I’m more than happy after a day of testing.

I used to be able to mine here with my Gridseed Orb but the minimum difficulty has been raised to 1024 from 512. Is there anyway it can be set back to 512, or even better 256?

I believe this is a known issue we’re working on solving. Can you please put in a support ticket so we can look into it further with you specifically?
