I have a new S19j Pro, which is running over 100TH average. I put it in PPLNS mode to mine BTC all day on August 1st, and the earnings this morning are $.05 : When it was in ProSwitching mode the day before it earned $31.84. I read that the PPLNS can take some time to show up, so maybe that is why? Does anyone have an opinion or experience with that?
@Farren, I have a S19Pro and I can report the same; I believe that in PPLNS mode, it’s an all or nothing thing. If you find it, everyone hits pay dirt according to the % they contributed. If nothing’s found, nothing’s paid -- except for the occasional trickles from merge mining.
In PPLNS you get nothing (outside of merge mined) until a block is found. And you are rewarded with the % of the reward that you contributed. The website breaks this all down really well.
So if I understand the changes in the London Fork correctly, Ethash will still run in PoW mode for awhile right? At least until that difficulty bomb makes it extremely unprofitable?
Hey all ---- thanks for the confirmation on the PPLNS - It also helped to watch that video about it on You Tube, which was informative as well. I’ll keep playing the lottery in PPLNS for now. Thanks.

We’ll continue mining Ethereum until they change to proof-of-stake - if they ever do

I’m loving the BTC PPLNS lottery. Makes things "Fun" again. Started to feel like a Crypto 9 to 5 job

I read somewhere that even after 2.0 is live that they will still need new ether to support the staking... or did I misinterpret what they meant?
I think I never saw a customer service say something like "yeah we got an error in our system, but go ahead and benefit from it while we fix it" It shows that you care for us <3
is there a way to switch to a different payment exactly at the beginning of the day? I want to switch from getting paid in Doge to ETH, but I don’t want to have scraps amount of Doge left when I switch... Anyone know hoe to do it?

Wait until it says you are elegible for a payout, if you are then switch, you will get paid all of the doge you are owed (provided it stays above the threshold)
Quick question, I did some PPLNS Monero mining awhile back and the pool just found that block today (finally!) but I’m a bit confused because it’s showing my share of the block as Monero in Payouts and not split among my payout options. Is is gonna convert to what I have set or do I need to have my Exodus wallet set up an address to receive it?
Hey, quick question, what could be the reason that my RX 580 has a local hashrate of 27 MH/s, but the Prohashing portal only shows me 19-21 MH/s? Does this have anything to do with the difficulty level which is dynamic?

We can only determine your hashrate by how many shares you submit, and probably what’s happened is you had an unlucky period of finding shares. Wait for four hours and see if there is still a difference.

Watched it now for several hours - in median I’m at 21 MH/s with the card, I mean - I could’t be that unlucky or?

check the graph on the mining page for that card. if you dont see it bouncing above 25 ever then you might be overheating the card and its throttling itself down. Check the hotspot temp if its pegged at 82 then it might be throttling itself. I could be wrong but I encountered this with my AMD cards specifically the 580
How is ethash for everyone since the hardfork? Especially yesterday I’m down about 25% in terms of mined ETH. The increased value has offset in terms of $ but still...hope it’s not all downhill from here.
After all this time, I didn’t realize I needed to UNDERCLOCK my GTX 1060 Super because it had Hynix memory. Underclocking it made it go from ~20MH/s to 31.7MH/s

Are you talking ETHASH? 31.7 seems very high! What did you underclock to?
Does anyone in here understand how to set up the ANON wallet? I could use a little help please. I get an "error setting up params: null" message. I am using a Mac. I will try the standard removing and reinstalling, but in two days it was still attempting to install params before that message popped up. Thanks for any and all help.

Yes Ethash. It’s a 6gb card. I underclocked the core clock and memory clock to the max allowed by MSI Afterburner. About -500 or so for each.
