There have been some people saying that, but our tests and the tests of three customers have all confirmed that Prohashing was more profitable than litecoinpool.org and Slush’s pool in July. The only time we're investigating is recently, with one algorithm. Please make a post with specific details of when you found lower profits - thanks.

Say I have a miner that plugs along and finds 10 shares of a coin in PPLNS, then the PPS pool jumps in and submits 90 shares to find a block. Does that mean the PPLNS miner gets credited with 10% of the block reward and the rest goes to the PPS pool?PPLNS blocks are considered separately of PPS blocks, so PPS work does not dilute the PPLNS miners’ earnings

A PPLNS miner will chug along on one coin while the difficulty for that coin might drop over time, making it more profitable to the PPS pool which swoops in, finds some blocks and kicks the difficulty right back up again. Nice. :/All miners are competing with each other. The only difference is that now PPLNS miners from our pool are competing with PPS miners, instead of PPLNS miners or solo miners from a different pool competing with PPS miners. The difficulty isn’t affected by which pool the miner uses.
