Hello, noticed that my LTC miners are not showing on my mining live status. However, the internal miner status shows that is mining and connected to the pool. It is just me or something else?
like im on var diff on equihash144,5 its showing on my miner itself the difficulty is obviously getting higher since it shows less shares being submitted/slower..but in miner dashboard it still shows difficulty of 1
Steve made a change earlier today to improve the efficiency of the share inserter, but it seems to have had a bug that skipped many shares. I have reverted his change and added an additional 20% to users’ earnings on April 2.

No, that means it’s more profitable to solo mine Ethereum if you installed the daemon yourself
But...if the price doesnt double for LTC to compensate, expect everyone to ditch mining LTC and move onto the other more profitable coins, expect to see all their difficulty rates skyrocket in a weeks time after the LTC halving.
if you cut the profitability of LTC in half, you liekly wont even see it up in the top 10 coins for the autopool to mine so likely instead of mining LTC all day they autopool jumps to digibytes or game credits all the live long day
or you might see the 32 TH on litecoinpool all wonder over here and flood the market and hit the coins so hard and fast everything stales and you make nada. Will be a very interesting time.
And if all the hash power leaves LTC, it’s difficulty will drop to compensate, and it’s profitability will come up. The THEORY is that it will all reach an equilibrium, and push the price of LTC up due to it’s deflationary availability. As CSZiggy says, it will be a very interesting time.
hello, all of my miners sha256, scrypt and X11 show to be off line although they are up and running on my side, anybody else is experiencing same issue?
It seems that the problem is my ISP, is blocking the URL prohashing.com, I have no way to bypass the blockage using a VPN since my miners are all bitmain. Can someboy help me out with some ideas or suggestions about how to bypass the blockage from my ISP?
A port 443 proxy server is also available at stratum+tcp://proxy.prohashing.com:443 if your hosting provider blocks the algorithm-specific ports. Use the "a=" password argument to select your algorithm with the proxy server.
If you are connecting here, this is forums.prohashing.com unless you are using another connection/ISP other than the one your miners use, then its likely not a block on your ISP’s side.
Not sure if they put in a block like they were sating they were going to do for nicehash miners on the site or limiting what coins users would be able to mine using nicehash, but if they are your miners that shouldnt affect it
it might be the DNS you are using, can try pointing the DNS to use google DNS servers, or try connecting using the direct IP address 50.225.198.65 instead of using the naming that resolves via DNS to the site. GOOD LUCK

Hello CSZiggy, and thanks for your help. I am only able to connect with the use of a vpn. I checked using prohashing.com IP address and is also blocked, either the domain name or the IP address are unreacheable without the use of a vpn. I have seen some cable modems that have a vpn server as part of its features but that is not the case with my cable modem.
setup a miningrigrental account, point all your miners to there. either set the rental rate to be 100X what you make daily, or just dont offer to allow them to be rented, and set the mining rig rental settings to point the rigs over to prohashing.
also, the bitmain miners, on the networking settings, can supply their own DNS. So even if you cant set the modem to use a different DNS the miners can. But if your ISP is being blocked you should ask them WHY. They shouldnt be blocking a site if you are paying for the ISP and control your own modem. I have heard of work places and college/universities blocking mining sites to keep students from running miners.

I understand you don’t like paying taxes, but could you consider talking about something else? Your opposition to taxes has been repeatedly noted in many posts
I didn’t say anything negative, was just a friendly reminder tomorrow is tax day for the US. I don’t think anyone really likes paying them, but I have not been in opposition to taxes. I think you are making an assumption.
