BogBeast · Sat Nov 10, 2018 02:00 PM UTC · #90429
yup. No luck with no password , looked at at antminer log and it really looks like the pool has stop responding.

CSZiggy · Sat Nov 10, 2018 02:02 PM UTC · #90434

CSZiggy · Sat Nov 10, 2018 02:02 PM UTC · #90436
or was there a delay or timing or race condition being met that caused the disconnects due to prices not being there
citronick · Sat Nov 10, 2018 02:03 PM UTC · #90437
any good shows to watch at Netflix lately?
CSZiggy · Sat Nov 10, 2018 02:03 PM UTC · #90438
if the 1st, good on the pool, if its the 2nd they need to close that delay or check for X number of coins losing prices within Y time and tighten up the scans

Azriel wrote: Hello, what does it take for a coin to be added to prohashing? What are the reqirements? Hey there - IDK the exact rules, but I have seen some things: 1) It needs to one of the supported algos, 2) it needs to be on an exchange which accepts auto trading (not sure of the technical bits), 3) Prohashing avoids being a Big Pool (not sure of the % but I think they try to be at most 25% of total pool hash) - I hope that this helps.
alim · Sun Nov 11, 2018 03:19 PM UTC · #90463
Any other CN algo miners here?

Here you can send power with nicehash? When checking gives me "Received mining.set_difficulty... Pool difficulty too low (provided=65536, minimum=500000) Error: Difficulty too low."

Lesikvip wrote: Here you can send power with nicehash? When checking gives me "Received mining.set_difficulty... Pool difficulty too low (provided=65536, minimum=500000) Error: Difficulty too low." Try using the "d=" password argument to set a higher difficulty

Hey Steve, any update on CN implementation (obviously keen)
CSZiggy · Mon Nov 12, 2018 04:54 PM UTC · #90472
@Lesikvip : try not mining coins with such low difficulty? cherry picking the top coin that is in error mode and stale 80% of the time?
CSZiggy · Mon Nov 12, 2018 06:12 PM UTC · #90473
CryptoNight/pool error? unable to solo mine monero, getting message about - "ERROR - Not authorized. , Authorization failed because the miner is switching static coins too frequently. Mine the previous coin, or wait additional time before mining this coin."
CSZiggy · Mon Nov 12, 2018 06:12 PM UTC · #90474
Sure thing....point me to another previous coin to mine on CN8 and I’ll get right on it.
CSZiggy · Mon Nov 12, 2018 06:13 PM UTC · #90475
with only 1 coin, there is only 1 option for static solo on CN8, how can I mine another coin when there arent any others to mine on here?
CSZiggy · Mon Nov 12, 2018 06:16 PM UTC · #90476
nice code update, worked fine last night now cant connect to solo mine with no changes from my side. Please fix.

CSZiggy · Mon Nov 12, 2018 09:06 PM UTC · #90480
well its not all CN8 just that 1 account, the other acocunts work, so its not even IP related.

it turns out that the correct implementation should be one coin per algorithm, not one coin overall

Try using the "d=" password argument to set a higher difficulty I tried different arguments d=524288, h=*, the verifier says OK, but does not connect when the order is started even for the SHA256 algorithm. Writes: Disconnected. The difficulty of the pool is too low for high speed. This is at a speed of 300 Th / s. Though on other pools is connected and works without problems.

CSZiggy · Tue Nov 13, 2018 04:21 AM UTC · #90491
@Lesikvip : can you break up the order? buy 300 GH/s block and try 1 and see how it does? Maybe you just need to setup 10 nicehash accounts and send 10X 300 GH to get your TH speed.

@Steve Sokolowski : </strong> The Live Profitability at the top of the charts page seems a LOT more stable. It used to shoot up and down the bar graphs all day, now its stable and not jumpy. Whatever fix that was, looks nice, did it help the pool or profits any?
