There are 7 other coins showing as mineable on the equihash algo other than bitcoin gold, so I guess I’m not smart enough to figure out why losing bitcoin gold does away with all the others.
it is strange but since the problem on equihash happened, my Z9 will not even allow to have ph as one of the pool, otherwise it goes to socket connection refuse.
the moment i removed ph as my third pool, all other pools connected fine. but the antpool port 8899 takes a while to come online as well. it will show as dead for a short while.
My Z9’s just disappeared a few minutes ago. Not seeing them on backup pools either. I’m not at their location presently, so I’m only guessing they also are sitting idle with "Socket connection refused."
@jeffms2003 I have tried to use their autoswitching on two other algos. In terms of actually tracking what is going on, Prohashing is easier. However the most challenging bit for me was the time it took to be paid in my target coins - all their levels are different.
So, what’s the deal with Zcash? We gonna be able to mine it or is it going the chaotic "way of the Cryptonight"? Perhaps this calls for a "Steve Article" about it.
So those that have a Z9, assuming equihash gets shut down here for a while, where you guys planning on pointing yours? I see slushpool would work, and someone mentioned miningpoolhub
if profitability had an impact on how many people used this site, we would have 100% of hashrate for scrypt and x11, given that scrypt is now something like LTC+12%
A few minutes ago, the real-time profit data of the mine pool was not updated, and the wamp server was disconnected. In the few minutes of the disconnection, my hash has been mining, but it is obvious that during the time of the disconnection, the hash I paid did not receive any return.
21:20~21:32, all my miners didn’t get any coins in this period. The income is 0. This time period is also just the time period when the wamp server is not updated and disconnected.
@Steve Sokolowski not receiving payouts in Verge, error reads that it is downloading the latest blocks. Please look into it, I would greatly appreciate it.
For ordinary miners, a maximum of electricity costs are lost during the disconnection. But for the nicehash miners, the loss is very big! Because our hashes are all purchased with btc. In just 10 minutes, I lost at least 0.0038btc.

There’s nothing that can be done about that; the blocks are downloading and the issue will resolve itself in about two days

You should have a backup pool set for when this one reboots or disconnects.

And yet when I checked litecoinpool with the lower difficulty and higher litecoin prices still paid out more coins yesterday for a L3+ than PH did.

I can’t find the thread about a drop in hash rates, but I have machines that are hashing 95 TH/s in SHA and all day the prohashing site has shown me at between 85 and 90, so definitely some sort of issue.
I started to solo mine litecoin for a while and it still mines a few other coins, I mined a block dogecoin worth $22 but it wasn’t credited to my account but all the other 2 cent blocks seems to be

yet it is true a I losed 0.008 BTC due that wrong data
Nicehash is a scam, guys. You got a narrow margin of profitability, and if you get hashpower beyond the point you need it, you’re losing money. The only winners there are Nicehash. Sorry, but no confidence in it. You’re better off buying your own equipment.

buy own equipment and and lose money like you? I can make profit with nicehash, no scam, but profitability data on PH must be correct. Problem is, that PH have always some problems
