if you hold the coins for over a year before you sell I think you only pay 15% taxes on the profits from the sale, but if under 1 year you have to pay a third of it.

If you are static mining using c= setting then maybe. They changed the way stales are recorded once found so less is paid out if static mining. Read the news the past 2-3 days for more info.

@Nick53 - I had a situation where one was reporting over 700 blocks found in a day... When the numbers were below 50, I thought I was just lucky. We investigated and fixed it. I still have the random false positive on the miner, however as I’m mining PPS, it doesn’t make a difference to my income other than some down time.

@gnode, I think it might have affected other algos as well - I’ve got 30% of share submitted as stale, and my scrypt miners are reporting a 200M/H lower submission than my admin... I suggest submitting a ticket

But I have to prove how much I paid for the coins I sell with a receipt of purchase otherwise I had to enter 0 for the purchase price and pay full capital gains on all the coins I sold

PH must be tax exempt or something to be able to list they paid 100 for a coin, sell it for 100, not pay capital gains, and not have to prove they paid 100 for the coin they sold. also seems questionable.

@CSZiggy - other sites make you sign the form on line. I would imagine that is one of the things which will need to be addressed. I’m assuming that I will have time to get my act together on this ahead of tax season.
