I managed to scoop up a couple S9s after getting hosed on trying to get a couple L3+...got to checkout and found out they only take Bitcoin Cash...I couldn’t get some fast enough

@ricemarv : Yeah, I was one of them. I'm still waiting for my $1800 worth of BitcoinCash to show up. wondering how much it will be worth when I finally get it.

Lesson learned: Put your money in your CoinBase USD wallet, wait till BitMain has them for sale, THEN purchase the BCH directly from your USD wallet.

ahh bunny coin slipping only5X payout now

if the pool can't keep what block the coin being found is, or cant increment the block counters correctly, and now isnt sure if its finding new or good blocks...I would have been moving my miners off here if I didn't already.
fishey334 · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:07 AM UTC · #73218
Hey I was looking at password arguements and I was wondering what I should set it for my L3+
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:08 AM UTC · #73219
that is a very good question
fishey334 · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:10 AM UTC · #73222
I have set them up for others I am interested though I should have mentioned my question was more regarded towards what the minimum difficulty ought to be set to
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:10 AM UTC · #73223
if you ask 4 people you might get 4 differnt answers
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:11 AM UTC · #73224
I got tired of always being told how worng I am, so I dont offer setting suggestions anymore
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:11 AM UTC · #73225
I would say read the help pages a few times and see
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:11 AM UTC · #73226
and dont be afraid to try a few settings and see if you get more or less profits
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:12 AM UTC · #73227
and the settings that work best for 1 person may NOT work at all or the best for another
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:12 AM UTC · #73228
so in the end, you have to just try and draw your own conclusions
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:13 AM UTC · #73229
but at 10X payout I would say mine the crapo out of bunny coin anytime it pops up
financeguru · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:13 AM UTC · #73230
At which difficulty are you mining bunny?
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:14 AM UTC · #73231
whatever the coin or dynamic says
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:14 AM UTC · #73232
and I dont mine here anymore
fishey334 · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:15 AM UTC · #73233
everything seems to be fine so far so I think I’ll leave it on autopilot for the moment
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:16 AM UTC · #73234
holy crap that donation coin was short lived
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:21 AM UTC · #73236
i like the icons some of the coins have
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:21 AM UTC · #73237
I miss gokucoin...had DBZ on it
fishey334 · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:21 AM UTC · #73238
It really is the wild west out here atm - the world is your oyster make of it what you want. Imma head off for the night UK
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:29 AM UTC · #73242
app, you ever overclock an L3+? Only asking because it’s balls cold out atm.
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:30 AM UTC · #73245
im currently pulling over 16GH on 26 miners
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:30 AM UTC · #73247
each miner is special and you need to bump them up in stages and let each one settle in and check the temp and errors.
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:31 AM UTC · #73248
one setting wont work for all the miners
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:31 AM UTC · #73249
and...having a lot more than 2 miners...i was able to switch..mix and match the hashboards to get good miner sets
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:31 AM UTC · #73250
so instead of hitting 400 and having 1 bad board starting to spit 1000 errors an hour
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:32 AM UTC · #73251
I put 4 of those into 1 box and left it at clock, and put a good one to replace that back one in the other 3 boxes and bumped all 3 of those up...repeated
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:32 AM UTC · #73252
gotcha, I usually do not...but it’s so cold out I was thinking of running one maxed overnight (just bought awesome miner and it can cutout at a set temp)
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:33 AM UTC · #73254
the L3+ has a cutoff 'C temp you can set on the miner
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:33 AM UTC · #73255
I just see the 80c setting
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:33 AM UTC · #73257
oh i thgouht you could change that value
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:33 AM UTC · #73259
temp isnt the only issue its not just keeping it cold
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:34 AM UTC · #73260
Stop running when temprerature is over 80℃ with a yes or no button
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:34 AM UTC · #73261
the chips themselves...silicon lottery, some will never like to go higher than 412, some 450, others are fine up over 481
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:34 AM UTC · #73262
each board is special all they guarntee is they work at the stock 384 or whatever
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:34 AM UTC · #73263
I ran an electricity curve, 444 seems to be the breakover
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:35 AM UTC · #73264
so if you can test and find 4 boards that can hit 481 without any issues....push all 4 into 1 box and OC it up to 481
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:35 AM UTC · #73267
cause...thats the one Im after.
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:35 AM UTC · #73269
how much profit can I get how soon
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:36 AM UTC · #73271
it flattens fast past 444, assume why that’s in so many forums
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:36 AM UTC · #73272
so if I add 10% power and I get 9% more hash...thats ok right?
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:37 AM UTC · #73273
i wouldnt expect to be able to OC 1 for 1, but if I can add 10% more power to a rig, and get 9% more hash in return...don't I ?
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:37 AM UTC · #73274
I just ran it on $, not positive
fishey334 · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:37 AM UTC · #73275
so you can get 444 mhs out of one l3+ board?
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:38 AM UTC · #73276
I bumped on from 384 to 400, increase was 4% spot on hashrate increase
fishey334 · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:39 AM UTC · #73280
ohhh. Isnt the L3+ rated to 504 initally?
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:41 AM UTC · #73281
504 hash..we are talking 400 frequency
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:41 AM UTC · #73282
which pushis it to like 525 or so hashing?
fishey334 · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:41 AM UTC · #73283
Ohh that explains the confusion
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:42 AM UTC · #73285
each board is rated independently
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:42 AM UTC · #73286
I have a few going 481 and 2 going 487
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:42 AM UTC · #73287
but they hash at 690 and 720s
fishey334 · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:42 AM UTC · #73288
yeah I get it used to overclock down clocked chips
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:42 AM UTC · #73290
so if u pull u that ip and look prolly 150 is per
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:42 AM UTC · #73291
the 5 innosilocns I got in for december back each one of those 5 are going 660s
FastCashMining · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:43 AM UTC · #73292
Apple is Sven gonna house the machines or are you going to keep them?
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:43 AM UTC · #73294
he owns and operates them i just do the housing...and collect the salary at the end of the year.
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:43 AM UTC · #73295

JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:44 AM UTC · #73297
I ran outta amps and wife booted us lol
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:44 AM UTC · #73298
ran 200 amp service and im using 220 outlets
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:45 AM UTC · #73300
I think steve needs to reboot the pool
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:45 AM UTC · #73301
I dont think any of the coins has processed a block in over 9 mins now
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:46 AM UTC · #73302
is it just me, or does the algo switch waaaaay too often?
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:46 AM UTC · #73303
just had to refresh the page 3 times to get any updates
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:47 AM UTC · #73305
well if they still paying bunny out, i need to call sven and tell him
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:48 AM UTC · #73306
I tried solo on a few of these obscure coins (been at litecoinpool and trying new ideas), do these coins ever pay?
AppleMiner · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:49 AM UTC · #73307
if you hit a solo block, yes
JimmyS · Fri Jan 05, 2018 02:49 AM UTC · #73308
I have 60 bucks or so of them, everyday they say 2 hours till they pay...then 2 days lol...
