My GUIMiner failed, and now I’m seeing two workers in my Prohashing dashboard, the old one displays this error message: This miner attempted to authenticate with a duplicate worker name, so its n= password argument is being ignored.
Hi, just want to make sure my settings are good... I have my miners set to auto mine. With these settings, if another block is solved in the pool, would i be rewarded? Thanks in advance!
Yea. You hear Biterin the Ether Mastermind put out a statement today saying they are researching new ways to implement different protocols to allow more transactions.
@NowMortimerJames : I dont know if I can do that now... Im gonna open an A-Z claim requesting the refund. I initially stated that I wanted a refund because there are other L3+ for better prices. He claims that he can transfer the warranty to me, which according to BitMain can not happen.
Since I didn’t name my worker it’s listed with as a char string in my account. Can I use that string as the name in the password field to start working as that worker again? After an application error and a restart I see I’m mining under a new worker ID.

I had nothing set for those values. At one point I had password blank, and at another I had it set to farm litecoin only. Now that previous, original worker ID is gone from my dashboard. I presume the shares earned will still be attributed to my account. I’m new (24 hours) and have yet to receive a pps payout
Today will be the first day that I compare Prohashing without any modifications. I’m hoping I break 20 bucks a day. going to test it out another two days.
I’ve only been at this 3 weeks, but have 20 miners...Steve this maybe an IM question, but how hard would it be to give us flexibility to mine our own algo?
@JimmyS : I’ve just had a little better success recently on other pools, but I do like the set up here. hopefully things even out. haven’t tried nice hash yet. anyone had any experience there?
@NowMortimerJames : there is some line in there that says if its been opened that they may not refund. my question is how would i know its not working properly without opening.
