so does the payout eligible have a checkmark next to it?
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:36 AM UTC · #62480
if so I think your getting a payout today
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:36 AM UTC · #62481
if not, something didnt go over the limit, either the threshold or the network minimum
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:37 AM UTC · #62482
so then you will need to earn more, and in another 21 hours or so todays value twill be added to payout eligible
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:37 AM UTC · #62483
checked again, if over both limits, it will checkbox and payout in the following 24 hours from then
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:37 AM UTC · #62484
its not that hard of a system except for people who used to mine on pools with instant payout buttons
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:38 AM UTC · #62485
or payouts 4 or 6 times a day, 1 time a day is slow for some folks
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:41 AM UTC · #62486
yeah its this constant changing of goal posts .. that is really annoying ...
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:42 AM UTC · #62487
any way in my case, i;ve opted to cash out at my own threshold and pay extra fees and than switch to LTC as payout .. but I'm not sure with all those rules when to actually switch ..
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:42 AM UTC · #62488
now, looks like ill have to wait till midnight east cost time, and than switch to LTC?
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:45 AM UTC · #62489
one time a day is actually fine, its this threshold waiting that is concerning, especially with such high pool fee or 5% it just don't make any sense to force folks to mine for 6 million satoshi for the payout
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:47 AM UTC · #62491
if you earned .05 cents today so far in BTC that will be added and paid out
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:47 AM UTC · #62492
but your BTC payout eligible has to be OVER
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:47 AM UTC · #62494
AND the threshold you have set
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:48 AM UTC · #62495
just being over the custom threshold isnt enough there are 2 values it has to clear
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:48 AM UTC · #62496
yeah i just changed it to 1.5 million satoshi
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:48 AM UTC · #62500
well this morning 0nce i realized that PH has bumped to over 6 milion satoshi
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:49 AM UTC · #62501
yes, 0.1 is 10 million satoshi
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:49 AM UTC · #62503
just be aware if the network minim is .1
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:49 AM UTC · #62504
then if you get a payout or not
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:50 AM UTC · #62505
you have to over that # of coins
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:50 AM UTC · #62506
but as the price rises and drops on the coins, the $$$ value needed to make .1 will change
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:50 AM UTC · #62507
no, network minimum is 200000 satoshi
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:50 AM UTC · #62508
its not a changing goal post in terms of # coins .1 is .1 is .1
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:51 AM UTC · #62510
its shifting with the thresholds
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:51 AM UTC · #62511
well as long as you are over that and whatever the threshold you ahve set, then you can swap to another coin now and start earnign that coin
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:51 AM UTC · #62512
pretty sure the network mim has always been .002 here
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:52 AM UTC · #62514
i mean yesterday was 3.4 million satoshi than they gave us 24h notice for raise up to 6 million satoshi .. than they upsie just rolled the change any way
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:52 AM UTC · #62515
yes network minimum has not changed
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:52 AM UTC · #62516
look I'm not talking pennies here
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:53 AM UTC · #62517
so nicehash had free payouts in BTC?
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:53 AM UTC · #62518
after Nicehash where i lost about 25 million satoshi, I'm understandably edgy when the pool say .. its fine we'll hold on to your coin to reduce fees ..
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:53 AM UTC · #62519
if you hit a certain limit it was a free move to an external wallet?
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:53 AM UTC · #62520
well we are already paying premium pool fee of 5%
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:54 AM UTC · #62521
what a hell is all this dancing with the payout thresholds
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:54 AM UTC · #62522
to allow your choice of coins as payouts
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:54 AM UTC · #62523
ok so 5% is to cover conversions you say ?
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:54 AM UTC · #62524
ill believe it will all disappear once they start mining sha-256 themselves
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:55 AM UTC · #62525
fine, whatever .. lets see what PH charges me to withdraw 1.5 million satoshi
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:55 AM UTC · #62526
AppleMiner wrote: ill believe it will all disappear once they start mining sha-256 themselves faking hope so
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:55 AM UTC · #62527
once they are finding the coins they wont have to send out for them as much, should reduce the fees to transfer more
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:56 AM UTC · #62528
before i think it was 15 bucks
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:56 AM UTC · #62529
so if it doubled up maybe 30-45 now?
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:56 AM UTC · #62530
but that was before bitcash went 2X more profitiable to work than bitcoins
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:56 AM UTC · #62531
so not the BTC network is suffering badly from last of hashing power and is slow to transact much of anything
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:57 AM UTC · #62532
so does PH pay out in Bitcoin cash
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:57 AM UTC · #62534
i could be wrong didnt follow it
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:58 AM UTC · #62535
other thing, if I'm to change the payout to LTC . when is safe to switch ?
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:58 AM UTC · #62538
I'm now waiting for my payout to update next server midnight
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:59 AM UTC · #62540
you can change it at any time and it will stop adding to the old coin and move to paying you in the new coin
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:59 AM UTC · #62541
so can i just switch 100% to ltc and wait for BTC payment tomorrow
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:59 AM UTC · #62544
and likely will get a LTC payment also
greaseman316 · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:59 AM UTC · #62545
yes they do payout in BCC/BTC
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 08:59 AM UTC · #62546
since you only need like $3 a day to trigger a payout on the LTC payouts
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 09:00 AM UTC · #62547
i don't know if I'm simple or ignorant or illiterate .. i could not figure that out form reading documentation and with all those gotchas with thresholds
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 09:00 AM UTC · #62548
k let me switch to LTC then
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 09:00 AM UTC · #62549
the simple answer is, pick any coin but BTC and its never an issue
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 09:01 AM UTC · #62550
its only an issue for ppl who want ye olde mighty BTC as the payout
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 09:01 AM UTC · #62551
people mine here for 3 months, on all other coins, then BTC spikes they change payouts 1 day and wonder and cry for a weke about not getting anything in their BTC wallets
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 20, 2017 09:02 AM UTC · #62552
its just the limits the network puts on the coins to send them
DblD · Wed Dec 20, 2017 09:11 AM UTC · #62553
yeah, not really one of them whiners, i get the complication .. any way I've switched my payouts and shit .. lets see if all works out well now

morning Steve - do you guys have any plans on adding ADA as a payout coin?
crika1 · Wed Dec 20, 2017 12:13 PM UTC · #62563
yeah ada would be good, and also why is the pool not mining more verge when its at the top of the list to be mined with a scrypt miner
Steve Sokolowski · Wed Dec 20, 2017 12:43 PM UTC · #62564
crika1 wrote: yeah ada would be good, and also why is the pool not mining more verge when its at the top of the list to be mined with a scrypt miner There’s an issue with the project’s coin selection, which we plan to address as soon as the live coin balances issue is fixed

Would using a proxy mining server pointed at prohashing cause more or less stress on your server?

martian wrote: Would using a proxy mining server pointed at prohashing cause more or less stress on your server? less, probably
