they would have more coins interternally they should shuffle and payout from what they earned as a pool
greaseman316 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 03:54 AM UTC · #61067
Like zpool payout is every 2 hrs if your balance due is .1 or more BTC other wise payout is sunday for .0025 or more but the TX fees are stupid high
greenhorn0815 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 03:54 AM UTC · #61068
Yeah, its all internally, quite complicated system, other multipools operate differently, they API each miner, so i am responsible for TX fees, if i want BTC, as example, but the API runs faster due to that, here I believe and correct me if i am wrong, your earning get mixed together and then paid out once a day
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 03:55 AM UTC · #61069
not so much mixed just checked for a payout amount 1 time per day
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 03:56 AM UTC · #61070
i THINK it just scans through the coins and checks each user who was on in the past 24 hours if that coins totals meet the 2 things needed
greenhorn0815 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 03:56 AM UTC · #61071
it has to be mixed, otherwise i would not be able to get paid out in another algo, the multi pools i know cannot pay algo wide, you can get paid in coins for teh algo you mine, but not srypt to X11 or vise versa
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 03:56 AM UTC · #61072
if so then it triggers a payout, goes and checks the next miner that was on that day, then the next coin til done.
greenhorn0815 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 03:57 AM UTC · #61073
Netherless its a good system, its stable, the guys know what they are doing.
lite em up · Sat Dec 16, 2017 04:50 AM UTC · #61074
if i am solo mining litecoin how can the block i find be Leafcoin ?
doomguard · Sat Dec 16, 2017 05:46 AM UTC · #61075
My l3+ payout cant reach 20usd yesterday. Why so? According to the expected payout if it is more tjan 4 cents than perday will be at least 20
seovit · Sat Dec 16, 2017 06:05 AM UTC · #61076
cant get my GPU 1080 to mine anything here. anysuggestions?
greaseman316 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 06:21 AM UTC · #61077
shot server stopped accepting shares again crap grrrrrrrrrrrrr........................ of course they are stuck here
greaseman316 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 06:22 AM UTC · #61078
spoke too soon went crazy for last 10 mins
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:01 AM UTC · #61079
@seovit : dont think GPU or CPUs have enough hash for the base difficulty the pool has
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:04 AM UTC · #61080
@doomguard : not sure how you are computing expected payout
doomguard · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:15 AM UTC · #61081
AppleMiner wrote: @doomguard : not sure how you are computing expected payout 4cents per mh means l3+ 500mh x 4 = 20usd.

I have an Antminer D3 (x11) miner, if I leave the password argument blank, will #prohashing automatically switch between algos? Please advise. Thank you!
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:17 AM UTC · #61086
if you want a miner to mine on the X11 algo add the a=x11 password argument
bwicked · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:18 AM UTC · #61087
Thank you! I just want the miner to mine the most profitable
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:18 AM UTC · #61088
yes a=x11 will earn you about $7 a day with a D3 or about that.
bwicked · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:20 AM UTC · #61091
so just for my own record i guess. If I leave the password argument blank, and #prohashing defaults to Scrypt, then I’d be wasting time and energy until I add the correct argument for the type of miner?
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:21 AM UTC · #61092
yes the miner would try to work on the incorrect algo
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:21 AM UTC · #61093
and no shares would ever be generated correctly
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:21 AM UTC · #61095
but before september there wasnt a lot of hash on x11, and even now....
bwicked · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:21 AM UTC · #61096
makes perfect sense. Again, thank you so much.
bwicked · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:26 AM UTC · #61097
I also have a dump yet burning question (as a newbie). As I understand Monero is ASIC resistant, but still possible to CPU mine. How would a Quantum processor preform? and would an x64 OS even run on it?
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:29 AM UTC · #61099
we would need a quantum processor
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:29 AM UTC · #61100
and since quantum computers exist in labs that can operate on 4 bits and not much else, its all sorta theory still for now.
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:31 AM UTC · #61101
opps sorry... In July 2017, a group of U.S. researchers announced a quantum simulator with 51 qubits. up to 51 bits now.
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:31 AM UTC · #61102
almost a full register of memory WOO HOO!
bwicked · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:31 AM UTC · #61103
yea, I saw that article not too long ago ...
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:32 AM UTC · #61104
another 100 years we should be mining crypto on them
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:32 AM UTC · #61105
the thing is a computer is a linear line graph on a paper in math class
bwicked · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:32 AM UTC · #61106
and while I’m sure scientific research is more important, my mind just went to crypto mining
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:32 AM UTC · #61109
2X more power = 2X more power
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:32 AM UTC · #61110
but the quantum computer is a EXP or LOG function it moons from 0 to infinity ina short time
bwicked · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:33 AM UTC · #61111
it’s 2x more bits, I forgot what it was called, but I think it’s superposition where you can have both 0 and 1 in the same bit
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:34 AM UTC · #61112
instead of having 2 states on and off, it has like 2 pair so 4 states it can achieve, so instead of 2^x this is 4^x
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:35 AM UTC · #61114
and I think all of them at the same time to boot
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:35 AM UTC · #61115
which is where it gets warped and into higher forms of 5th degree math and I want to squeeze my pee pee really hard and cry.
bwicked · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:36 AM UTC · #61117
anyways, it was just a thought ... thanks for the chat m8
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:36 AM UTC · #61118
3D ok fine...4D sure toss in over time...5D extra dimensional spaces...6D, forget it Im just lost and 6D is silly now

DblD · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:43 AM UTC · #61121
once one reaches payout trehshold at PH, they start a ~2 day clock to payout.......whats that about ?
DblD · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:44 AM UTC · #61122
first its about ~11 day to reach the payout, than another two waiting for who knows what ..
DblD · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:46 AM UTC · #61123
I havent been able to find any explanation for such a long post threshold countdown timer, anyone here have any ideas ?
DblD · Sat Dec 16, 2017 07:47 AM UTC · #61124
I can understand if they batching payouts on 4hours, or once a day, or once a week below certain ammount ... but this just dont make any sense... actually no, there is no explanatin, nvermind making or not making sense
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 08:11 AM UTC · #61125
no once you reach the payout, then at that server midnight a payment is set to issue during the next 24 hours.
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 08:11 AM UTC · #61126
not sure where you are getting an extra day from.
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 08:12 AM UTC · #61127
unless its BTC and it took your wallet or exchange that long to verify it. When BTC was shooting up the confirm times were taking hours and hours to go through.
doomguard · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:05 AM UTC · #61129
AppleMiner wrote: where do you get 4C at? lol. Look at the expected payout for scrypt. It is showing 4.4 cents right now per mh per day
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:07 AM UTC · #61130
thats live for NOW, not for the whole day.
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:12 AM UTC · #61131
I'm not saying anything is wrong with the pool. But I just made $120 yesterday from 3 D3s. So unless dash exploded, I do NOT think I am making $40 a day per D3.
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:12 AM UTC · #61132
If I am, Id like to buy up some more of them please.
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:13 AM UTC · #61133
cause at $40 each I think thats over s9 or L3 profits.
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:14 AM UTC · #61134
ok i guess i had the L3s on the pool for a bit before i put them elsewhere, NM me, I knew that had to be in error.
data101 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:39 AM UTC · #61135
@AppleMiner..are you mining a specific coin(X11) or "dynamic"?
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:40 AM UTC · #61136
autopool, but I had my L3+s on the pool for a few hours before i swapped, so that wasnt just the d3 profits
AppleMiner · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:41 AM UTC · #61137
i thought i moved them off before midnight, but i didnt
doomguard · Sat Dec 16, 2017 09:57 AM UTC · #61139
AppleMiner wrote: thats live for NOW, not for the whole day. but most of them time they are above 4cents.
data101 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 10:08 AM UTC · #61140
so here’s the thing..do you mine a profitable coin(whattomine) based on daily earnings or opt to autopool. for instance @the mo..whattomine has cannabiscoin(x11) pinned as most profitable currently over average 24hrs

data101 · Sat Dec 16, 2017 10:17 AM UTC · #61148
to my knowledge @the mo PH only mines scrypt and x11..have a look at viaBTC for sha256 they have a PPS and PPLNS system

well it depends on what you wanna mine and how you want to mine
