i believe so. they have been around for a while and they are paying me
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:15 PM UTC · #59154
1 drawback about them is the support... it is thin
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:16 PM UTC · #59155
Is there a better coin to mine with the d3 since dash is basically not work mining at this rate?
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:16 PM UTC · #59156
unlike here. PH has good support
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:16 PM UTC · #59158
I didn’t think so....huge paper weights.....
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:16 PM UTC · #59159
the X11 netowrk was oversaturated by bitmain, the profits on X11 have gone to shit
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:17 PM UTC · #59160
and continue to sink some more
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:17 PM UTC · #59161
I have 3 s9s and 2 l3+s coming hope that will be better.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:17 PM UTC · #59163
the l3+s might not be that much better tbh
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:17 PM UTC · #59164
depends again on bitmain, they are doing another run so it might tank....
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:19 PM UTC · #59165
let's not kid ourselves, its bitmain, they will likely have SERVERAL more batches still to release
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:19 PM UTC · #59166
well, they are in this to make money just like we are at the end of the day
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:19 PM UTC · #59167
true, after the "test" them for a few months and get the diff to jump.
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:22 PM UTC · #59168
wonder if they will make an eth miner?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:23 PM UTC · #59169
nope, memory would cost too much
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:23 PM UTC · #59170
and they did, its a cobbled together GPU rig
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:24 PM UTC · #59171
I did see that but it was super expensive.... guess they makes sense now.
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:26 PM UTC · #59172
so if x11 is crap how come PH does not add another alg to the pool to mine?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:43 PM UTC · #59173
need servers configured for sha-256 and a reserve to pay out coins mined first
zurg · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:43 PM UTC · #59174
looks like my PC crashed and I didnt see of anyone answered my Q
zurg · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:44 PM UTC · #59175
my LTC payout is set at 1 LTC, however this morning I got pa payout of 0.76679312 any idea why it was triggered?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:05 PM UTC · #59179
5$ over the default payout, you are paid out.
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:06 PM UTC · #59180
So i see payout threshold on BTC is down to 2.9 million satoshi
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:06 PM UTC · #59181
you can set it for 1.5 or 2.0 but soon as it hits default + 5$ it triggers a payout.
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:08 PM UTC · #59182
i see, still not sure what the pool charges are for say 1 mil satoshi payout
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:09 PM UTC · #59183
or do they have a set fee for payouts under the official treshold
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:09 PM UTC · #59186
yes if its under the default threshold you pay the network fee, whatever that is, last I saw steve said it was 14-16$ per BTC transaction if I remember correctly.
zurg · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:11 PM UTC · #59189
0.76679312 is a far cry from +$5 of 1 LTC to be paid out
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:12 PM UTC · #59190
excuse my ignorance, is the network fee same for bunch of small transactions that fill in the block or does it work on percentage of the satoshi transfered
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:12 PM UTC · #59191
@zurg we was talking BTC here
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:19 PM UTC · #59192
@zurg : what is the default payout on LTC
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:19 PM UTC · #59193
$5? then the max you could hav is $5, the default threshold + 5$
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:19 PM UTC · #59194
so $10 would be the most you could save up before a payout auto triggers for LTC.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:20 PM UTC · #59200
not the one you set that would be CUSTOM threshold
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:20 PM UTC · #59201
what does it say in the () raised or lowered from xxxxxx)
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:20 PM UTC · #59202
custom threshold ( raised from xxxx) what is the xxxxxx
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:20 PM UTC · #59203
@AppleMiner excuse my ignorance, is the network fee for BTC same for bunch of small transactions that fill in the block or does it work on percentage of the satoshi transferred?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:20 PM UTC · #59204
or do you still have it at the default threshold?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:21 PM UTC · #59205
@DblD : its for payout only
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:21 PM UTC · #59206
once you have like $500 or whatever the equated $ value is for whatever the minimun transfer is on BTC
zurg · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:21 PM UTC · #59207
1 raised from 0.0005195
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:22 PM UTC · #59209
@zurg : what is the current LTC price X 0.0005195
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:22 PM UTC · #59211
that is the most you can have in your account and NOT get a forced payout
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:22 PM UTC · #59213
once you are over whatever the price of LTC is X 0.0005195 + $5
zurg · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:22 PM UTC · #59214
I thought setting custom was an override or something
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:22 PM UTC · #59215
you get a payout regardless, they dont hold funds here, this isnt nicehash
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #59216
there is no 'master wallet' for them to take
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #59217
and if they did, it would only have 1 days payout from each worker in it
zurg · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #59218
dont talk to me about NH, lmao
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #59220
yeah i get as much, @AppleMiner... so the fee is arbitrarily made up by PH instead of the implied BTC network fee ?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:23 PM UTC · #59221
as it can stock up to $500 per worker and not payout, the rest SHOULD payout mostly daily
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:24 PM UTC · #59223
@DblD : NO, if you take a non default threshold payout, YOU pay the network fee instead of the pool, and its like $14-$16, a few weeks ago someone said it was $40 to send payments under the threshold
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #59225
if you wait, they cover the network fee once you reach the minimums, if you want it sooner you just pay the network fee is all.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #59226
they have to pay to send money via BTC
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #59227
if you wait til you hit the limit, they cover it
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #59228
if you want it sooner, you pay to transfer it instead of them
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:25 PM UTC · #59230
so PH piks up the tab for amounts sent over xx (insert latest threshold)
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:26 PM UTC · #59231
if you buy something on amazon, you can get it free shipped if you dont mind waiting a week, if you want overnight you have to pay for that dont you?
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:26 PM UTC · #59232
analogy to amazon dont make sense @apple
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:27 PM UTC · #59233
what does PH gain by holdig on miners pay to certan treshold vs paying out number of miners in smaller chunks
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:28 PM UTC · #59234
example: 2.9 mill satoshi to single address vs 2.9 mill satoshi to 10 miner addresses
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:29 PM UTC · #59235
i digg that BTC transactions are becoming slow and pricey ... but if you load up bunch of transfers on to same block .. cost is same for one or manny ..no ?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #59236
talk to the owners on this subject i just man the message boards mate.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #59237
i dont set the prices and im not paid
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #59238
/me confused and lonely in here ..

AppleMiner wrote: @DblD : NO, if you take a non default threshold payout, YOU pay the network fee instead of the pool, and its like $14-$16, a few weeks ago someone said it was $40 to send payments under the threshold this is such crap. They use multi-address payments and the transaction fee is spread between all users. In reality they’re paying like 30 cents to send it per user
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #59240
we having conversation g .. not grilling you on shit
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:31 PM UTC · #59241
that is what they pay, they usually end up paying out of pocket to transfer BTcs
centar · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:33 PM UTC · #59242
and they could easily reduce that further if they would use segwit
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:33 PM UTC · #59243
Chris and his broo can feel free to way in if its pertinent, but for what is worth it just two bloaks having conversation
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:34 PM UTC · #59245
unless your name is Chirs or his bro
DblD · Mon Dec 11, 2017 09:38 PM UTC · #59247
AppleMiner wrote: that is what they pay, they usually end up paying out of pocket to transfer BTcs How do you know how much PH splashes out of their own pocket, im sure its though business .. but how do you know ?!

ether way, there are some questions wanting for more detail explanation
