When PH starts mining BTC, pay 0 fees and put your BTC payouts in your found blocks.

how come Srcypt LTC Payouts per MH is higher than other coins, is it due to a conversion fee?

New to mining, must set up 2 l3+ miners

I know about the new LTC diff, but the price is skyrocketing more than diff... Why are not profits soaring?
centar · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:12 PM UTC · #59061
so at this point PH is pretty much just a LTC pool with 5% fees, right? I don’t see the point in paying 5% in fees when the difference between PH profitability and straight LTC is basically nothing. Why are people sticking around here?
centar · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:17 PM UTC · #59062
Splinter wrote: I know about the new LTC diff, but the price is skyrocketing more than diff... Why are not profits soaring? Um, difficulty has more than doubled in less than a week. you would need a much more pronounced raise in price to counteract that.
Splinter · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:21 PM UTC · #59063
But that new diff in LTC as always happened, should not affect that much on ALL the Scrypt coins profitability... the problem I see is PH now is sticking to LTC even if you set low diff
doomguard · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:32 PM UTC · #59064
does PH mine EMC2 or AUR coins or Verge?
Morbiduzz · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:38 PM UTC · #59065

Morbiduzz · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:39 PM UTC · #59066
@Splinter : because is the more profitable coin available PH is PPS system

Splinter wrote: But that new diff in LTC as always happened, should not affect that much on ALL the Scrypt coins profitability... the problem I see is PH now is sticking to LTC even if you set low diff Because Litecoin is the most profitable coin that can handle the amount of hashrate PH has. You can’t throw a ton of miners on a small coin - it will just nuke the difficulty and defeat the point. This is the point I’ve been trying to make. PH is basically just a LTC pool at this point - an expensive one at that (5% fees)
centar · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:45 PM UTC · #59068
bitconnect was the only thing making this pool more profitable. Now that it is dead there’s not really much incentive to stick around
Splinter · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:48 PM UTC · #59069
I think you guys are absolutely right!
centar · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:55 PM UTC · #59071
nope, they announced they moved 100% to proof of stake. no more mining
netimaster · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:56 PM UTC · #59072
here is a quick question, is it better to specify an algorithm (a=?) or just let it auto pick?
coinzcoinzcoinz · Mon Dec 11, 2017 06:59 PM UTC · #59074
@centar do you know of other pools that will payout in a coin of your choice if you mined ltc only?
centar · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:02 PM UTC · #59075
I’m sure there are some. I know Zpool will pay out a few different coins. not that big of a deal to me, i only deal in litecoin and btc

For example, d=4096 will, after the first share is submitted, reassign the miner permanently to a difficulty of 4096, regardless of the coin being mined or how frequently the miner is submitting shares. Available values for scrypt are any power of 2 between 512 and 2097152, such as 1024, 2048, and so on. If this argument is not provided, then the pool will select a difficulty that results in shares being submitted once per minute.

hi all - do any of you know how i can control which coins gets autoswitched?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:50 PM UTC · #59092
you can select a coin to mine manually or select autoswitch
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:51 PM UTC · #59094
I have been playing around with H2C and like that feature they have
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:52 PM UTC · #59096

jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:53 PM UTC · #59097
hash-to-coins... interesting concept
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:53 PM UTC · #59098
on H2C, I have bbeen running for 1/2 a day (on this specific config) and we are oround $9 by now
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:54 PM UTC · #59099
PH got me that in a full day, but I like that PH paid out in the coin of my choice
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:54 PM UTC · #59100
very nice, what payout coin? or have you been paid by them yet or at all ever?
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:55 PM UTC · #59101
payout coins and in the coin is the coins you mine, but you can chose which coins you want in roation for the autoswich
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:56 PM UTC · #59102
ahh so im left with 100 gulden coins and 1000 doge coins and 231 vert coins etc etc etc?
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:56 PM UTC · #59103
yes, i have been paid out several time. you set the minimum you want before paying out and so far it seems very quick.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:57 PM UTC · #59104
and then you have to bother taking them all to exchanges, and losing money on the exchanges and transfer fees back and forth 2 times
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:57 PM UTC · #59105
yes, that is true. that is the 1 behefit of PH and NH
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:57 PM UTC · #59106
whats the pool fee for h2c?
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 07:59 PM UTC · #59107
prop system with 0% pool fee
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:00 PM UTC · #59108
i will give them a try for a bit and see. not 100% married to any pool, just the one that makes me money and easy to work with
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:00 PM UTC · #59109
as long as at the end of the day you are getting profits thats what counts
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:00 PM UTC · #59110
i dont plan to be married to the rigs that I need to hit an exhcange daily and push last nights coins up for sale
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:01 PM UTC · #59111
too much hands on busy work, pass.
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:01 PM UTC · #59112
i am sending them directly to the exhanges, but you are right, dealing with that part is a bit of a pain... but it can work out ok, if the currency picks up
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:02 PM UTC · #59113
which other pools do you know of pays out in your coin of choise?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:02 PM UTC · #59114
none really, thats one of PHs feature sets
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:03 PM UTC · #59115
you can save yourself the headache and get the coin you want paid directly to your wallet and not have to mess with exchanges
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:03 PM UTC · #59116
i miss NH. would like to see what they are going to do
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:03 PM UTC · #59117
you wanna save 2-3% in fees, go change them around yourself and see if you save anything with the fees and time involved, so far I havent.
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #59118
at least with H2C I chose the coins i want to autotrade with
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #59119
i didnt use NH even when it was up
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #59121
it was just one of my failover pools and had some extra spare change in it.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:04 PM UTC · #59122
i have a couple D3s and some L3+s
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:05 PM UTC · #59124
shitty, was at like $15 a day for running 3 of them
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:05 PM UTC · #59126
so after 2 in electricty they making 3$ each per day
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:06 PM UTC · #59127
would benice if a hot coin come up using the same algo
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:06 PM UTC · #59128

jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:07 PM UTC · #59131
S9’s seem to be doing well now - around $30/day
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:07 PM UTC · #59132
still making 3 LTCs a day with the L3+s
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:09 PM UTC · #59135
you had me wondering for a moment. What are you pulling in per L3+ here on PH?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:10 PM UTC · #59136
not sure, havent been mining on PH since the BCC crash.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:11 PM UTC · #59138
test miner was only getting .1101 ltc per day
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:11 PM UTC · #59139
i ran on PH for 2 days or so and did not go over $9/day
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:11 PM UTC · #59140
on the l3+ and i was getting better on other test rigs so I moved all my miners over
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:11 PM UTC · #59141
profits here havent been better in the 5+ days since I moved so I havent bothered to move back yet.
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:12 PM UTC · #59142
on ph - do you mine LTC only or autoswitch?
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:12 PM UTC · #59143
autoswitch to the best coins for the best payouts
jluyt123 · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:13 PM UTC · #59144
ok. i will see what i will do, but need to get closer to $18 or so for the L3+... just not sure how yet
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:13 PM UTC · #59145
but as people have noted without BCC here or the addition of new coins since nova went down, there isnt a profit margin here to make me stay and mine at 5% fees, not when others are paying better and no fees.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:13 PM UTC · #59146
Ill be honest I think that 18 is a pipedream
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:14 PM UTC · #59147
but good luck chasing after it.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:14 PM UTC · #59150
id post whatever i could on my pool if I were dishonest, not paying taxes, illegal maybe and shifty, to get more miners to pump my pockets full of coins.
AppleMiner · Mon Dec 11, 2017 08:15 PM UTC · #59152
or are they based out of dubai?
