ah okill repeat the process with another coin
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:45 PM UTC · #67704
we don’t know how many coins are affected, so that’s why we’ll need to add the debug code when the next release is issued
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:45 PM UTC · #67705
what im trying to say is your orphan rate is due to the autoswitcher
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #67706
throwing to much power at certain coins
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #67709
because it’s occurring over many minutes or hours
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #67711
but tomnay shares a minite
deathlessdd · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:46 PM UTC · #67713
I always thought orphans were caused cause theres too much hashing power
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #67717
we’re not going anywhere until the 7th
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #67718
orphans in this group are caused by tomany shares per minite for coins with low difficualty
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #67719
we’re just not issuing a release until then
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #67721
as I said, we know that’s definitely not the cause
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:47 PM UTC · #67723
dont get refunded for loss?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:48 PM UTC · #67724
the cause is something else because it’s happening repeatedly over minutes
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:48 PM UTC · #67725
if you submit a support ticket, Chris can see how much money was lost and consider that
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:48 PM UTC · #67726
and what about when i spiked donation coin and found all those blocks, you can see in the explorer that 100 odd blocks were found in the space of 20 seconds but the daemon didnt regester
greaseman316 · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:49 PM UTC · #67728
Dam Jive its new years eve you suppose to be festive and almost drunk by now its almost 11 am here lololololololol
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:49 PM UTC · #67729
even tho all comfermed and deposited into your wallet adress
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #67733
so now you’re saying that the blocks were found but the system suggested they were orphans?
greaseman316 · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #67734
ohhhhhh i understand now lololololol
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #67735
earlier you said that it continued to mine the same block height over and over
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #67737
no system didnt even say they were orphans
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #67738
just didnt even regester them
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #67739
but they were int he block explorer
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #67740
so block heigh was the bunnycoin issue
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:50 PM UTC · #67741
daemon not regestering the coins was a donation coin issue
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:51 PM UTC · #67744
then I’ll add a high-priority task for the donationcoins issue for Chris to investigate immediately
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:51 PM UTC · #67745
block id’s and screenshot from miner ect
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:52 PM UTC · #67746
as you can see all the work was fromprohashing, you check the block ides from number 1139895 in the explorer and start clicking next
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:53 PM UTC · #67747
you will seemulitible blocks a second
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:53 PM UTC · #67748
but yet i was only credited for 7 found ones
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:54 PM UTC · #67751
is the problem that there’s a lot of hashrate being sent to the coins, or that you are incorrectly being given orphans?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:54 PM UTC · #67752
the first is not a bug, there are just many solo miners who for some reason mine that coin
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:54 PM UTC · #67755
wasnt issued a "report of block found" at all
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:55 PM UTC · #67756
so in the "jivetotnso found blocks" there should be over 100 blocks for the last 16 minites
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:55 PM UTC · #67757
look at how long the miner had been running
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:55 PM UTC · #67759
ok, so this is a third problem now
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:55 PM UTC · #67761
the first is that bunnycoins never advance
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #67764
I apologize, it’s difficult to understand because you didn’t separate the issues
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #67765
got 2 threads on the issues
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #67768
the second problem is that you believe the state of the donationcoin blocks is being reported incorrectly
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #67770
the third issue is that you believe you are finding more blocks than are being credited
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #67771
we can’t investigate the last one, unfortunately
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #67772
the second is a high-priority issue
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #67773
the first will have to be low-priority
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #67774
wouldnt use the word credidted but aknowledged* by your server
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #67775
I’m not sure how we can reproduce the third issue at all
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #67777
before continuing the conversation, I’m going to spend ten minutes writing the bug reports
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:57 PM UTC · #67778
evedince is in the block explorer
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:58 PM UTC · #67782
cheerss and appoligises if i came off frank
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:58 PM UTC · #67783
i just miss u guys when u wernt so courpate big mass company styles
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 03:59 PM UTC · #67784
march 2015 i been with u fullas and only last 12-18 months gone down hill
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #67785
what type of miner are you using?
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #67787
the system would have collapsed if we didn’t hire people
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #67788
at the moment a l3+ with a custoom config file
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #67789
shorter work check times ect
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #67791
maybe it will help us reproduce this problem
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:04 PM UTC · #67795
set up for long blocktimes
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:04 PM UTC · #67796
I’ll just post a message in the "for sale" thread
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:04 PM UTC · #67797
there’s always people there selling L and D 3s
JiveTonto · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:05 PM UTC · #67798
dodge, you guys should close that markettbh
Steve Sokolowski · Sun Dec 31, 2017 04:05 PM UTC · #67802
we don’t attest to any of the people posting there
