I usually sell everything in the morning but I slept till 1pm and now look at it. FML

Does anyone know if I had 500 L3+ about what would the daily revenue be with the most recent price drops?
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 03:37 PM UTC · #64417
For one L3+ I’ve been getting between $15-$20 mostly and a couple days of spikes to about $30 then back to $15-$20....is this normal?
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 03:56 PM UTC · #64418
cashflowminer wrote: Does anyone know if I had 500 L3+ about what would the daily revenue be with the most recent price drops? $17-$18 @LTC = $250 | w=800 p=0.18
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 03:58 PM UTC · #64420
@minin4fun so if I had 500 total L3+ mining rigs...you’re saying each rig should be generating $18/day?
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 03:59 PM UTC · #64421
The reason is I have an investor that is about to invest $2million on L3+ and I’m trying to make projections on estimated daily revenue and want to be as accurate as possible
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:00 PM UTC · #64422
that is what I’m doing, 502 MH/s running L3+ is doing $18 currently
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:00 PM UTC · #64423
there are plenty of calculators out there
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:01 PM UTC · #64424
And I would need to change my codes to have the password include => w=800 p=0.18 ?
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:01 PM UTC · #64425
So my investor’s 500 mining rigs (L3+) will generate conservatively $270,000 a month....does that sound accurate to you?
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #64426
I would do you own calculator that includes phases, difficulty, inflation. value increase, equipment cost, building cost, taxes, legal fees
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #64427
Do you think having 500 total S9 mining rigs would yield a larger return on investment?
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:02 PM UTC · #64428
my buddy created such calculator
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #64429
Please send me a calculator you recommend because all the ones I checked out are all different the details are not constistent
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:03 PM UTC · #64430
it’s all based on predictions. How much will BTC rise/fall over 12 months vs LTC
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:04 PM UTC · #64432
Basically we have investors that want to invest $5 million on mining and I originally said to diversify with 500 L3+ and 500 S9 mining rigs...so just trying to get an accurate estimate for both S9 and L3+
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:05 PM UTC · #64434
I can use the one I have that is not online
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:05 PM UTC · #64435
Or do you think it is more profitable to get all L3+ (scrypt mining)?
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:06 PM UTC · #64438
Do you only personally mine with L3+? .....ok will hang on. Thanks buddy.
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:06 PM UTC · #64439
I will do the S9 for you based on 500 machines
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:07 PM UTC · #64441
obviously based on a purchase of machines in the future at Bitmain retail, correct?
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:08 PM UTC · #64442
The purchase of 500 machines comes out to $2.5 Million....
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:08 PM UTC · #64443
is what our supplier is telling us
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:09 PM UTC · #64445
i need unit cost per S9 and power cost
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:09 PM UTC · #64447
how much does power cost where the machines will live?
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:10 PM UTC · #64449
150/per machine each month held in data center, electricity doesn’t mater, it’s all baked into the datacenter maintenance cost
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:10 PM UTC · #64450
California income and Virginia income tax rates....
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:12 PM UTC · #64454
Sorry, how much does the machine cost? Or are you renting them?
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:14 PM UTC · #64456
I wouldnt depend on just asic
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:15 PM UTC · #64457
Each S9 cost about $5,000....each L3+ cost about $4,500
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:15 PM UTC · #64460
because they are limited to 1 coin and soon as the diff gets to high they become less profitable
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:15 PM UTC · #64461
s9 only seems like its profitable because of the price of bitcoin
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:16 PM UTC · #64462
But L3+ can mine any scrypt coin not limited to Litecoin....and S9 is a SHA-256 not only limited to Bitcoin but also can mine Zcash and Bitcoin Cash right???
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:16 PM UTC · #64463
the rate of diff for bitcoin is going up because of the amount of people mining it
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:17 PM UTC · #64465
but S9 your being blind sided by the price of bitcoins
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:17 PM UTC · #64466
your not mining more bitcoin with it
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:17 PM UTC · #64467
I was also considering to get 1,000 L3+ mining machines instead...all hooked up to ProHasing mining pool
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #64468
and get paid out in Litecoin and BitcoinCash
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #64469
well you should invest in some other coin mining
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #64470
can i place a screen grab here?
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #64471
Here is one GPU mining rig setup and we are considering investing in...Capex - $500,000 for 128 workers, 768 GPU’s 1 mining worker consists of 2 Power Supplies, 1 motherboard, 1 Celeron CPU, 1 8GB stick of DDR4 Memory, 1 64GB USB3.0 flash storage drive, 6 PCI-E 1x to 16x Riser, and 6 Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU’s mining at 27MH/s (not overclocked) at a cost of $3,906.96 per 6 GPU Rig mining at 160MH/s ETH/ETC/ZCASH or other GPU capable alt-coins.
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #64472
GPU mining can but just as profitable if not more profitable because they become unprofitable u can just sell the video cards off
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:19 PM UTC · #64474
You wont beable to sell an asic for the price you got it if it becomes unprofitable
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #64476
so if you think they will be profitable in 2 to 5 years that is unknown
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #64477
it shows everything in detail regarding phasing out machines
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #64478
I have a screen grab and can share
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #64479
an S9 i can say will not be profitable in 5 years
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #64480
so if our investors bought an ASIC S9 and/or ASIC L3+, we only have about 2 years of solid profits and then about 3 years of less profits but it still makes money right?
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:20 PM UTC · #64481
looking for option to insert pic
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #64483
well you dont really know if an S9 will be or a L3+ in 2 years
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #64484
they will release much more powerful ones in the next 2 years
mining4fun · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:21 PM UTC · #64485
deathlessdd wrote: an S9 i can say will not be profitable in 5 years only if you retire and purchase the latest version
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #64486
Got it...so if our plan is to buy 500 S9s and 500 L3+ with the goal to make the ROI back in same year then sell off the companies that own these mining rigs, that is the best play right?
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #64488
that is the problem with ASICs
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #64489
We plan to sell the company that owns the mining rigs
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #64490
once they become unprofitable no one wants them
Forum notification · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:22 PM UTC · #64491
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:23 PM UTC · #64493
so there is a 2 year shelf life for all ASIC machines
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:23 PM UTC · #64494
Maybe 2 years, But if bitmain or other companys come out with the 7nm chip the S9 and all the other asics are doomed
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:24 PM UTC · #64495
You coming up on a huge upgrade soon
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:25 PM UTC · #64496
But if you were to buy 500 S9s you wouldnt make profit in 1 year
cashflowminer · Thu Dec 28, 2017 04:25 PM UTC · #64497
What do you think of the Avalon a8?
