Does anybody else have litecoin pending from 3 days ago in their wallets?
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 01:54 AM UTC · #63997
no...i think mine sat for 2 days
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 01:57 AM UTC · #63999
searing have you done the noctua swap on your titans ?
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 01:59 AM UTC · #64000
no idea what the noctua swap is
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:00 AM UTC · #64001
er i should say sat for 2 days and paid out then
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:01 AM UTC · #64002
ok i get it you mean the fans...yeah 2x as fast for 1.2x the noise...work great..can hardly notice also did the maxumak
DeterMINEd · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:01 AM UTC · #64003
ok thankyou, mine is still pending from the 23rd
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:01 AM UTC · #64004
brackets to open up the dc/dc’s to put on copper heatsinks the fan of course mentioned and the gen tarkin firmware that is essential
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:02 AM UTC · #64005
repaste about every 6 months now at worst....airflow and fans more dust and seems to dry thermal paste quicker
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:02 AM UTC · #64006
but 10c or more drop on dc/dc temps with mods and heatsinks and the maxumark 10 buck replacement brackets
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:05 AM UTC · #64007
a titan at 12c kwh for me makes $8.35 at current LTC $280 price. An L3 makes $8.81 and L3+ $17.62 again using low litecoinpool calc...bit more on PH at 12c kwh
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:06 AM UTC · #64008
think mine would be broken if it wasnt for the gen tarkin firmware had to set the max temp to 70 got 2 dies fryed by having it at 80
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:06 AM UTC · #64009
you need to repaste again..some titans i need to repaste every 3 months
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:07 AM UTC · #64010
do you have the maxumark mods for 10 bucks well worth it and the dc/dc heatsinks that fit then?
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:08 AM UTC · #64011
i have no clue what the maxumark mod is got som alu heatsinks on the dc/dc modules
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:10 AM UTC · #64012
so you cut the knc bracket down to free all 8 dc/dc’s to add heatsinks?
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:12 AM UTC · #64015
the brackets he has fit the 4 point set screws thru the board etc so it is more level ...well worth it frees up all 8 dc/dc’s less issues with repaste more level
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:12 AM UTC · #64016
but most times some dc/dc’s are hot vs others i find a repaste fixes it ....1st sign of needed repaste for me
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:14 AM UTC · #64017
we also got a deal on platinum server psu’s 1280’s (used as dual) in dual server backplates (full psu guts not just breakout board) and with 15 awg wire vs 16 awg wire..thus no need for knc Y adapters some plug burn out (browning)
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:14 AM UTC · #64018
mabye i should try to make some
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:15 AM UTC · #64019
which needs replacing after more than a year but no more every month a blown knc y adapter etc that was more dangerous
sublimeguy · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:16 AM UTC · #64020
so whats gonna happen with the btc deposits unconfirmed for like 9 days?
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:16 AM UTC · #64021
he is selling them more or less for cost 10 bucks each and includes the longer hex mm bolts etc....easier just to grab his imho less work
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:17 AM UTC · #64022
im running my cubes on 2x apw3++ also got a 1000w ATX psu that runs 2 cubes + the boards
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:17 AM UTC · #64023
sublimeguy you need to make a ticket
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:17 AM UTC · #64025
yeah but the 16 awg wire is an issue for us...we got lucky on server psu’s cheap ...just saying and of course better plug ends for the cube then cheap knc ones
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:18 AM UTC · #64026
yeah 9 days is too dorked imho
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:18 AM UTC · #64027
you burn any cube plugs out yet...got a tweak/fix for that too
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:20 AM UTC · #64028
no but i had a cube that just made it restart over and over ... looks like a short
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:21 AM UTC · #64029
get a hold of lightfoot on bitcointalk he fixes my cubes .if he can’t fix he does not charge you
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:21 AM UTC · #64030
sometimes cubes like that work on 1 controller only...also lightfoot has beagle bone black knc neptune and jupiter board mod to run titans ...a firmware fix to do so
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:22 AM UTC · #64031
i have not done any yet...but others says it works with their old jupiter and neptune knc boards
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:22 AM UTC · #64032
yeah just waiting for 4 boards i bought , need to deside on how manny too send him
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:23 AM UTC · #64033
well you ever burn a plug out (me have had 6 of them) you clean th pins bare and slide a knc y adapter in directly but must be careful and have correct in (tab up) or you blow the works
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:23 AM UTC · #64034
not sure if its profitable too run with a box with 2 dies left
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:23 AM UTC · #64035
i just never take the knc y adapter mod off the cube ..hard to mix it up that way....lightfoot will do a plug hates my mod..but have not broke any yet
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:24 AM UTC · #64036
you did a repaste on that 2 die cube and underclocked it to say 250 or some such also if gen tarkin stuff underclock and put back to 0.3666 or whatever the reg voltage is works
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:25 AM UTC · #64037
nice too know , havent had any of them yet
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:25 AM UTC · #64038
you running the broke cube?
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:26 AM UTC · #64039
the totaly broken one is collecting dust but i got one running with only 2 dies
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:27 AM UTC · #64040
you ever figure out what was broke on the 1 cube shot ?
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:28 AM UTC · #64041
looks like a short , lightfoot is not sure if its possible to salvage it had me to messure some resistance in it
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:30 AM UTC · #64042
ah...I got one like that ...what I did was took it apart....cleaned the paste off....put it back together and super glued the dc/dc’s on and on bottom said you can take the heatsink off to look at the chip..can’t run this demo only
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:30 AM UTC · #64043
are you using any special password for the titans , beside name ?
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:30 AM UTC · #64044
so future folk can use it as a book end or paper weight but still look inside and take the heatsink off and look at the chip
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:31 AM UTC · #64045
on prohashing yeah a mess of stuff for the titans on litecoinpool it was simpler
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:32 AM UTC · #64046
also sometimes tarky titan eff setttings will cause a die not to work ..sometimes you put the regular knc voltage of 0.3666 or whatever back in and under clock and it may run hotter but comes back
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:33 AM UTC · #64047
iv tryed that , they are completly dead would not run at even 50 mhz
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:33 AM UTC · #64048
when i had cube (now dead the doorstop one) only 2 dies ran the 2 dies at 325mh to compensate
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:34 AM UTC · #64049
not much but heat was no longer an issue with 2 dies dead
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:35 AM UTC · #64050
anyway ...take the dead one do what I did so future folk can look at this stuff and go ohhhhh....shelf art..just label the hell out of the bottom so they don’t try to run it .that it is shot!
Searing · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:36 AM UTC · #64052
later...but the maxumark mods are the slick! the next time you repaste later
sublimeguy · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:48 AM UTC · #64055
im glad that my miners double as heaters, its cold up here
pulpitrocktech · Wed Dec 27, 2017 02:50 AM UTC · #64056

@Steve, how many miners mining scrypt? and will it only be shared between the scrypt miners or x11 as well?
Forum notification · Wed Dec 27, 2017 03:51 AM UTC · #64060
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 27, 2017 03:53 AM UTC · #64061
@KoiMundi : i would guess only the autoppol miners share in the autopool rewards per pool, so x11 would need to have found a $100,000 dash reward
KoiMundi · Wed Dec 27, 2017 03:55 AM UTC · #64062
Hi AppleMiner, ok, so on the date there were around 6208 miners mining scrypt, so the 100k will be shared among them?
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 27, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #64063
there were 6208 miners on scrypt?
KoiMundi · Wed Dec 27, 2017 04:02 AM UTC · #64065
no, it just says total number of miners. If you click on the Charts link on the landing page on the top left of PH
KoiMundi · Wed Dec 27, 2017 04:02 AM UTC · #64066
but I think it is total amount of miners, not just scrypt
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 27, 2017 04:06 AM UTC · #64067
i think thats unique accounts logged in per day
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 27, 2017 04:06 AM UTC · #64068
as the workers above says how many miner rigs are connected in, 19:

mining4fun · Wed Dec 27, 2017 08:26 AM UTC · #64074
so around $16.10 per miner for the find?
ernestodemc · Wed Dec 27, 2017 08:26 AM UTC · #64075
Hi, I’m mining x11 with 3 D3, that means I do not participate in the Verge block reward
mining4fun · Wed Dec 27, 2017 08:29 AM UTC · #64076
as mentioned, scrypt miners. "a generous bonus"... i suppose, but still seems meager.
spauk · Wed Dec 27, 2017 08:56 AM UTC · #64077
so, who mined the big verge block today?

elliott500 · Wed Dec 27, 2017 12:40 PM UTC · #64082
Has the difficuty on scrypt gone up recently
JiveTonto · Wed Dec 27, 2017 01:17 PM UTC · #64083
@elliott500 : all scrypt miners id say

подскажите если Asik antminer L3+ нашол блок что ни будь нужно делать?
VanessaE · Wed Dec 27, 2017 01:39 PM UTC · #64085
@Steve Sokolowski : </strong> I’ve asked this in multiple places, including in a support ticket, and have not received an adequate answer: are you ever going to fix the minimum difficulty for those of us with low-end mining rigs? mine works best with a static diff less than 2k, but even when I ask for 4k, my rig’s being forced into mega-high dynamic diff despite your "Help" page clearly stating that the minimum is 512.
VanessaE · Wed Dec 27, 2017 01:41 PM UTC · #64086
my password args are: -p "n=main_rig d=2048 w=350 p=0.103 k=[my API key here]"

@VanessaE are you running asic miners or GPU rig???
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 27, 2017 03:08 PM UTC · #64094
@VanessaE : the current minimum difficulty needs to be 32K/64K or higher to remain static, settings under those will force a dynamic mode to connect in.
AppleMiner · Wed Dec 27, 2017 03:08 PM UTC · #64095
on scypt anyways, Im using d=16 on x11 and stays static for me.
