greaseman316 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:36 AM UTC · #63083

AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:36 AM UTC · #63084
i use 16 and dash works fine for me
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:37 AM UTC · #63085
says static at 16, doesnt go dynami
greaseman316 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:37 AM UTC · #63086
with 16 static it went to static 32
greaseman316 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:38 AM UTC · #63087
all of them work like that no errors but move diff to end and it freaks out
greaseman316 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:38 AM UTC · #63088
still works correctly but with the error showing up
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:39 AM UTC · #63089

AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:40 AM UTC · #63091
when profits were up i was just pooling the D3s
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:40 AM UTC · #63092
and i moved my mess of L3s off here a week or so ago when profits dipped
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:41 AM UTC · #63094
so just have the D3s on here now.
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:41 AM UTC · #63095
will have to decide if im sticking around when the 1099s or whatever start to happen
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:42 AM UTC · #63097
well they tax everything can they
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:42 AM UTC · #63099
i have no issues paying capital gains and income tax on money i earn from those gains
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:43 AM UTC · #63100
but if the IRS thinks im paying taxes on every coin earned before I can spend it.
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:43 AM UTC · #63101
but arent u technically paying with your power bill tho
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:43 AM UTC · #63102
and they want taxes on the money I earned at nicehash that was stollen before i could claim any of it?
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:44 AM UTC · #63103
because technically as soon as those coins were mined on nicehash everyone in the US mining them owed taxes, the fact they were stolen and we never got the coins doesnt matter to the IRS
deathlessdd · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:44 AM UTC · #63104
none of this will be worth anything if u get taxed on it
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:44 AM UTC · #63105
and if that is their stance, then I will refuse to report ho9w many Ive made and ill pay them their fair cut any time I cash them out.
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:44 AM UTC · #63107
if you are in the US, your paying taxes
AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:45 AM UTC · #63109

AppleMiner · Thu Dec 21, 2017 05:45 AM UTC · #63111

Hello! What does this inscription mean in live worker status:"Since first share: no shares yet"
travelinmusic · Thu Dec 21, 2017 07:24 AM UTC · #63118
Opinion About Nicehash... A) Their ’back in 24 hrs’ press release was a lie, therefor they are liars and likely the perpetrator. B) Since (if I remember correct) coins needed to mature before payout, there was a residual amount of coins that were still maturing. I expected at least some amount to be remaining that would have matured in the following hours after the scam.
DblD · Thu Dec 21, 2017 07:36 AM UTC · #63119
Still dweling on Nicehash.. move on bud ....

Hi, may I ask if there are plans to get as well paid in altcoins like IOTA, YYW?
Patzmeow · Thu Dec 21, 2017 09:10 AM UTC · #63121
This morning, I awaken to this change in payout threshold for Monero: "Payout threshold: 1.08608327 (default, no fee) Network minimum: 0.20000000" I had a payout that was ready to go at the previous threshold.....now 5 times as much?
Patzmeow · Thu Dec 21, 2017 09:20 AM UTC · #63122
Same thing with NXT: Payout threshold: 151.35405210 (default, no fee) Network minimum: 20.00000000
futuredenied · Thu Dec 21, 2017 11:49 AM UTC · #63124
I know they bumped up the bitcoin payout, but if mine is set below the payout threshold will i Still get a payment with penalty or will it ust sit there?

ProHasher1111 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:51 PM UTC · #63128
My payout from December 19th is still unconfirmed...anyone else? Is Bitcoins blockchain really this slow or is there something else going on?
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:54 PM UTC · #63130
Mine as well. I’m showing a miner fee of 0 which, I’m guessing, the fee was too low initially and the subsequent confirmations didn’t have enough Sats to warrant a confirmation.
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:55 PM UTC · #63132
I reached out to Chris to see if there is anything he can do about it but it looks like you and I are in the same boat, Prohasher1111
ProHasher1111 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:56 PM UTC · #63133
well that sucks, just have to wait it out I guess
ProHasher1111 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:56 PM UTC · #63135
any idea how long it can take?
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:56 PM UTC · #63136
Not trying to wait. Unconfirmed transactions with tx fees that are too low can hang up for months
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:57 PM UTC · #63138
I’m still talking to Google about that
ProHasher1111 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:57 PM UTC · #63139
I have another transaction with Bitcoin a day and a half ago that I paid the higher fee for a faster transaction and it’s even unconfirmed...
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 12:59 PM UTC · #63140
I think a good portion of the issue is 1) network congestion - shit ton of transactions for BTC so slow confirms, 2) tx fees were too low
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:00 PM UTC · #63141
This is one of the reasons Chris said the other day that they (PH) are advising folks to move to LTC payouts - much faster transactions
ProHasher1111 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:00 PM UTC · #63142
over 260000 unconfirmed bitcoin transactions right now...
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:01 PM UTC · #63143
yeah... BTC is slowly becoming more of a store of value than a functioning currency. It’s becoming a super high interest savings account
ProHasher1111 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:02 PM UTC · #63144
it was never intended to be this way though
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:02 PM UTC · #63145
I’d have no issue switching to LTC payouts but the max thresholds are too low.
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:03 PM UTC · #63146
BTC suffers from failure of imagination, which is a thing. Folks never foresaw this scale...
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:09 PM UTC · #63147
Actually, as I am now going through the topics in the support threads below, Steve and Chris addressed the non-confirmed transactions. They said they are aware of them and are trying to work out a solution - one of which will be direct Coinbase payouts in Jan (possibly?).
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:10 PM UTC · #63148
These guys are one of the most responsive orgs I’ve dealt with in this space, I’m pretty confident it will get worked out.
dsafsd · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:28 PM UTC · #63151
why is it showing Live worker status (0)
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:30 PM UTC · #63153
try refreshing your page, Dsafsd
Chameleon · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:37 PM UTC · #63154
@clt89864 : .. the max thresholds for LTC I took to mean you couldn’t save up past that over days
Chameleon · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:37 PM UTC · #63155
if you are earning more than $100 per day, you just get transferred out the full amount every day no matter what you set the transfer threshold to
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:40 PM UTC · #63156
Right, I get that. My issue is more if you are mining quite a bit more than that, having 6-12 transactions a day into whatever wallet you have is headache from an accounting standpoint. Having to reconcile all those transactions, fees, etc takes time. It just makes bookkeeping more laborious.
Chameleon · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:40 PM UTC · #63157
that doesn’t sound like what would happen either, it would be the one single transaction for the full amount once a day
salvador · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:40 PM UTC · #63158
Why is my live worker stats 35 miners when i only have 17 already for 2 days ? anyone knows ?
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:41 PM UTC · #63159
I’d prefer a single transaction a day, even if my risk exposure increases a bit, for ease.
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:41 PM UTC · #63160
Are you referring to the Coinbase payout plan in Jan?
Chameleon · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:41 PM UTC · #63161
my understanding is that it’s so that they store the minimum amount on their server, and the maximum threshold is set so that you don’t set a really high mark and store it with them for days at a time
Chameleon · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:41 PM UTC · #63162
no, for if you switch to being paid out in LTC
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:42 PM UTC · #63163
makes total sense post-NH
shyrwall · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:42 PM UTC · #63164
So what broke recently? I have the double amount of miners i have showing as connected (with different ids)
shyrwall · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:42 PM UTC · #63165
Awesome bug since the hashrate has doubled but i doubt it will benefit me
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:42 PM UTC · #63166
It was showing max threshold on $100, I thought...
Chameleon · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:43 PM UTC · #63168
that’s so that you don’t set it to $1000 and store lots of value with them, anything over $100 would be guaranteed to be paid out
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:43 PM UTC · #63169
got it - that makes more sense. Thank you!
dsafsd · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:44 PM UTC · #63170
page refreshed and still Live worker status (0) All: Expand - Collapse No miners are connected.
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:45 PM UTC · #63171
Dsafd, did you confirm correct stratum in the miner UI? It’s pointed in the right place?
rteja99 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:55 PM UTC · #63173
what happened to bitconnect coin
clt89864 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:55 PM UTC · #63174
Strange...usually if I get that error, I reboot the miner from the UI and the issue is resolved.
rteja99 · Thu Dec 21, 2017 01:55 PM UTC · #63175
what has pro hashing stopped using em

salvador wrote: Does anyone knows why my live worker status says 35 workers but i only have 17 ? Mine is doinf ther same but my totals and numbers are corrct. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. It’s been an ongoing problem for a few days. I’m pretty sure it’s being worked on.

I’m showing 14 but really have 7. Payout is fine.

Live worker status is zero when using static diff, when using dynamic diff live status is correct.
