I think it is something to do with new segwit addresses and the ledger not having wallet support for segwit addresses yet
josh_estes · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:23 AM UTC · #49176
thanks it gave me an address hopefully it works
scriptman4 · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:23 AM UTC · #49178
it changes the entire address not just the M to a 3
josh_estes · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:24 AM UTC · #49179
hey script what you know about a low hashrate on prohashing but not low anywhere else
scriptman4 · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:27 AM UTC · #49180
also FYI but trezor does not recommend sending daily pool payouts to a hardware wallet. something about it taking a longer time to load and sign transactions
scriptman4 · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:28 AM UTC · #49182
good luck with the trezor it is way better than my buddys nano for gui and ease of use
scriptman4 · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:28 AM UTC · #49183
and the nano as of a few weeks ago doesnt support segwit ltc. idk about btw segwit yet .....

AppleMiner · Sun Nov 19, 2017 04:18 PM UTC · #49190
feels like the whole internet is slow today, we had major storms blow through last night
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:27 PM UTC · #49191
Apple, not sure if you responded to me last night..I missed it perhaps. I fell asleep
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:28 PM UTC · #49192
I ned to get my wallets sorted out. I have the trezor ledger so I should probablty figure out how to use it
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 05:59 PM UTC · #49193
sorry its the ledger nano not the trezor I have. Im not feeling it was a good buy. guess ill throw some time at it
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:00 PM UTC · #49194
yeah im not big on the hardware wallets myself
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:01 PM UTC · #49195
what happens if its lost, or stops working you lose everything on it?
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:02 PM UTC · #49196
hardware seems so inflexible for virtual currency
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:05 PM UTC · #49197
ok and the lag on forums is too much I cant be on the net, too much lag from storms and crap
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:33 PM UTC · #49198
can anyone recomend a multi coin wallet other than Jaxx that supports bitcoin, bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, ethereum, litecoin and monero?
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:34 PM UTC · #49200
might be too soon to see them all in 1 place yet
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:49 PM UTC · #49201
Jax wallet security is virtually none.
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:51 PM UTC · #49202
has anyone received their Bitcoin gold? if so, how?
AppleMiner · Sun Nov 19, 2017 06:55 PM UTC · #49203
would depend on the wallet you had your BTC in when they forked

c=Onixcoin seems not to work, nor does c=Onixcoin m=solo (no further pwd parameter submitted) anyone else hvng tried and found same issue?

yeominer wrote: c=Onixcoin seems not to work, nor does c=Onixcoin m=solo (no further pwd parameter submitted) anyone else hvng tried and found same issue? Same issue. a=x11 c=Onixcoin M=solo with no success. pool shows alive and even accepts shares per miner interface but worker status on PH shows no shares. You may want to find another pool to solo mine.

fallingcurtain wrote: can anyone recomend a multi coin wallet other than Jaxx that supports bitcoin, bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, ethereum, litecoin and monero? coinomi on android supports all of these, found it to be quite a good wallet
yeominer · Sun Nov 19, 2017 08:20 PM UTC · #49212
@Brandonloves2fly : observation on antminer D3: using c=<coin> w/o preceding a=x11 wont connect the worker at all
yeominer · Sun Nov 19, 2017 08:23 PM UTC · #49213
@Brandonloves2fly : not even attempting solo but just pps at this point just trying to lock into specific coin.. trying a=x11 c=Cannabiscoin keeps dropping off, cgminer keeps trying to reconnect, gets a few shares accepted, falls off again.
yeominer · Sun Nov 19, 2017 08:32 PM UTC · #49214
@Brandonloves2fly : verified that a=x11 c=Dash m=solo does work, live worker status on PH earnings page correctly shows SOLO for Dash, so it must be PH’s coin daemons for Cannabiscoin and /or Onixcoin that are acting up
yeominer · Sun Nov 19, 2017 08:34 PM UTC · #49215
on a related note on Onixcoin (ONX) their only pool is having massive complaints not giving payouts, also the coin seems to have a pump going +100% over the past couple of days, however block explorer NOT working, and one of the two exchanges down, highly concerning
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 08:51 PM UTC · #49216
Thanks I will check out coinomi wallet
yeominer · Sun Nov 19, 2017 08:53 PM UTC · #49217
on SOLO mining: wondering if PH is having too easily exhausted hashpower quotas on dash, cannabiscoin, onixcoin and either drops SOLO workers that have m=solo so often that is becomes useless for these coins to attempt solo.
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 09:34 PM UTC · #49218
coinomi is only an androis app? no desktop version?
djliss · Sun Nov 19, 2017 10:19 PM UTC · #49219
fallingcurtain wrote: coinomi is only an androis app? no desktop version? not sure mate, i only use it on android, from there it goes to my ledger when i have a decent amount in it.
yeominer · Sun Nov 19, 2017 10:27 PM UTC · #49220
SOLO workers dropped off again and cannot reconnect, not for Dash or Onixcoin. Very inconsistent pool server performance. Anyone else c= or m=solo observations to offer?
fallingcurtain · Sun Nov 19, 2017 10:45 PM UTC · #49221
Coinomi is in fact only for Android at the moment. Apple coming soon. Just can’t find a wallet that supports all the bitcoin forks.
skinner · Sun Nov 19, 2017 10:51 PM UTC · #49222
@ fallingcurtain why dont you get a cold wallet? You then have control of your private keys and its much safe then a hot wallet

Terrible day at prohash today. Any thoughts on multi pool?
fallingcurtain · Mon Nov 20, 2017 05:50 AM UTC · #49235
Thought I would dabble in there a little
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 05:57 AM UTC · #49236
how was your prohash payout for the day>?
pavvappav · Mon Nov 20, 2017 07:01 AM UTC · #49237
Its pretty close or just below pure litecoin mining. It looks like the pool is mostly mining LTC now, but not making up much of the total LTC hash rate.
dimaxwine · Mon Nov 20, 2017 08:06 AM UTC · #49240
Why last 2 days were so payout weak?
Aura89 · Mon Nov 20, 2017 09:14 AM UTC · #49241
I find poeoples questions about the last few days being bad always interesting, because whenever i look at the last few days when this comes up, it’s usually my best days. Unless people are talking about LTC payout, in which case, LTC prices have gone up, so your LTC payout will go less until the whole system itself increases in revenue.
dimaxwine · Mon Nov 20, 2017 09:24 AM UTC · #49243
@Aura89 what coin you use for payout?
JiveTonto · Mon Nov 20, 2017 10:30 AM UTC · #49244
and yes using btc or ltc aspayout thats really sad

@fallingcurtain : Yes i do, with Ledger Nano S tool
joshn712 · Mon Nov 20, 2017 01:30 PM UTC · #49248
The issue is that if you are going to mine just LTC you just as well change pools that pay LTC rate + transaction fees, rather then LTC -pool fee..
pavvappav · Mon Nov 20, 2017 02:34 PM UTC · #49249
The problem is the alts haven’t caught back up from the consolidation of capitol into bitcoin from the pre-fork time, the surging price of LTC and the rapid growing hashrate in LTC mining (
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/li ... te.html#3m ) -- 8th/s increase in less than a month.
pavvappav · Mon Nov 20, 2017 02:36 PM UTC · #49250
Over time, I’m confident that the rising tide of BTC, BCH, and LTC will lift all boats and the profitability of altcoins will again rise.
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 02:44 PM UTC · #49251
not sure where you got your info at pav, but I think im going to call BS on that one.

8TH/s increase in less than a month? what what what?
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 02:45 PM UTC · #49253
the average in OCT was close to 29TH, the average now is 32. Not sure how you are seeing 8TH/s increases.

Hi. Can anybody say me how mach the fee will be if I do payout like this
https://prnt.sc/hcxhcw ?
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #49257
which coin are you setting a custom threshold on?
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #49258
I'll go out on a limb and guess BTC, and a custom payout is like $55 or something like that I heard.
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #49259
so if you have less than 55$ in there it still wont pay out.
dobcrypto · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #49260
AppleMiner wrote: which coin are you setting a custom threshold on? btc
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #49261
Need like $500 or $1000 in BTC to get the free transfer to your external wallet. why most people go LTC for payments or some other coin
dobcrypto · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:37 PM UTC · #49262
so i cant do payout smaller then do payout even with fee?
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:37 PM UTC · #49263
i do not think you can set the threshold to be less than the netowrk minimum
dobcrypto · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:38 PM UTC · #49264
AppleMiner wrote: i do not think you can set the threshold to be less than the netowrk minimum sad =(
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:38 PM UTC · #49265
well you can, but i think the minimum is the actual limit, whether you can set the valule lower than it or not
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:38 PM UTC · #49266
if you check im thinking BTC is network mini like .002
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:38 PM UTC · #49267
and the default threshold like .1
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #49269
i dont have any payments up for BTC currently so i cant see the data
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:40 PM UTC · #49270
thats why LTC is the defaulted payment when joining the pool
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:40 PM UTC · #49271
if you want BTC you have to select it, and then wait til you hit that $payout limit to take the profits.
AppleMiner · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #49273
sorry not what you wanted to her, can either go all BTC for a week til it clears the total and pays out for free, or swap to another coin and basically write that off.
dobcrypto · Mon Nov 20, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #49274
hm... if i have btc on balance I can set ltc fo payment metod, my btc from balanc will converted to ltc or not?
