djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:21 PM UTC · #48368
i work in IT, mostly infrastructure, firewalls networking servers etc but kinda specialise in security, i’m the type of person with electrcal tape over my webcam lol
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:22 PM UTC · #48369
i have 1 smartplug and that is only cos it has a power meter on it, all my mining farm runs through it
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:23 PM UTC · #48370

djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:23 PM UTC · #48371

djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:25 PM UTC · #48374

djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:26 PM UTC · #48376

Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:27 PM UTC · #48378
i used juniper and firewall onea long time - now i`m on pfsense, ipfire and some customers have cisco stuff...
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:29 PM UTC · #48379
- oh - sry the right answer would be - MS FIREWALL AT WIN10 - loool
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:29 PM UTC · #48380
our isp we use put junipers on the leased line connection, never really played with one though
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:30 PM UTC · #48382
dont like cisco, too much config, zyxel works out of the box then add extra rules etc to them, really like the kit and interface
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:31 PM UTC · #48383
plus i’m certified with em lol
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:31 PM UTC · #48384

Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:33 PM UTC · #48386
i’m a little bit older - ’76
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:33 PM UTC · #48387
i like how linux is more gui now but you can only do certain things without scripts and the command line
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:34 PM UTC · #48388
powershell is actually a massive leap forward in the command line
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:34 PM UTC · #48389
it brings it somewhat up to date lol
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:35 PM UTC · #48390
was never a linux fan - but after getting in touch with home automatication - linux is a must - so i learned a much. now i can use my knowing for my innosolicon stuff based on raspery or orange pi
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:36 PM UTC · #48391
yep the pi has braught nix to the masses and they are so versatile
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:37 PM UTC · #48393

djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:38 PM UTC · #48396
oh yeah linux runs all sorts of embedded hardware
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:39 PM UTC · #48398
my car radio is pure android - ergo - linux *loool*
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:40 PM UTC · #48399
lol, i was going to say even car radios
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:41 PM UTC · #48400
even if its not android i bet linux still drives a lot of the smarter radios, sat navs etc etc
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:42 PM UTC · #48401
and most things can be hacked to run linux, ps3, xbox 360 original xbox
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:42 PM UTC · #48402
i have all of them - and all hacked *loool*
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:43 PM UTC · #48403
waiting for an xbox one hack to run linux, gpu mining on a cluster of xbox one’s would be cool lol
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:44 PM UTC · #48404
i think it would be too expensive - a GC is much ceaper and powerfull at the mom...
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:45 PM UTC · #48409
but Game Cube was a nice try *loool*
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:46 PM UTC · #48410
yea most efficient GPU sol/ w is the 1070ti at the mo
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:46 PM UTC · #48411
might sell my 1080 and buy a 1070ti and get some cash back
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:47 PM UTC · #48412
i thougt AMD gpus are the best at the mom ?
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:47 PM UTC · #48413
£500 for a 1080 and £380 for a decent 1070ti only 100 sols if that diffrnce in the 2 cards#
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:49 PM UTC · #48416
but power efficiency per w is the 1070ti, better than any other card on the market at the mo
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:50 PM UTC · #48417
just waiting for the 20 series which will be a smaller die and more efficiency, more power
djliss · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:51 PM UTC · #48419
i wonder how big a 1070ti would be made with old valve transistors lol
Bertilax · Tue Nov 14, 2017 11:51 PM UTC · #48420
i’m new at mining - about 6 months in the topic - learned a lot - again - but made a good desicion buying L3’s instead of D3’s... for the future i will buid a rig - if i have some spare time - thats the main problem - time

Hi is there someone who can help me
minersinarms · Wed Nov 15, 2017 01:34 PM UTC · #48446
how can i payout my balance of 0.00872838 BTC
MaterialResources · Wed Nov 15, 2017 02:57 PM UTC · #48447
Hi minersinarms, you can low you payment threshold on the settings page.
Minermoe · Wed Nov 15, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #48452
@appleminer so i concludes my test, and F2pool has been the highest payout in a 6hour period. I make 0.02 bitcoin more plus 1000x doge coins for whatever I mine... it is better than PH atm and Litecoinpool.org
Minermoe · Wed Nov 15, 2017 06:29 PM UTC · #48453
They give the Doge coins for free plus there is no pool fees for Dash. They don’t lay the doge coins for dash tho. Just LTC mining they pay the free doge coins which are practically worthless but it’s free $$ which adds up, especially if you have 21 machines plus your brothers lol
Minermoe · Wed Nov 15, 2017 06:36 PM UTC · #48454
I’m waiting to here from chris because I was solo mining, but my rig kept solving blocks for other coins. I woke up and seen a solved block and I was about to do a happy dance thinking I had solved a Litecoin block lol but it was a leaf coin for a value of like $0.13 lol

@minermoe How much you making per D3 in f2pool?
crika1 · Wed Nov 15, 2017 09:34 PM UTC · #48462
Just checked my stats for last 10 hours for one l3+ average 400mhs and efficiency at 85.7% (when i check the antminer settings shows average of 502mhs) why is there such a huge discrepency?
AppleMiner · Wed Nov 15, 2017 09:36 PM UTC · #48463
because pools dont pay you for hashrates
MrWolf · Wed Nov 15, 2017 11:34 PM UTC · #48464
