In prohasing’s home page, there’s the "1 MH/s expected payout" chart
th3dark · Mon Oct 09, 2017 09:45 AM UTC · #37758
It has "automatic" and "LTC" values.
th3dark · Mon Oct 09, 2017 09:46 AM UTC · #37759
How can I set up my account to automatic?
mycide · Mon Oct 09, 2017 09:55 AM UTC · #37761
in your mining rig. We are all mining on the "automatic" if you did not specify a coin to solo mine. That is just a comparison if you mined only litecoin at a static pool and what you would make here, at the same day.
th3dark · Mon Oct 09, 2017 09:57 AM UTC · #37762
Oh. I see! Thank you for the clarification.
mickeekung · Mon Oct 09, 2017 11:16 AM UTC · #37764
BTC payout received with unconfirmation TX.

does anyone know if prohashing is going to do X11 mining with the helium coin coming out?
Forum notification · Mon Oct 09, 2017 01:40 PM UTC · #37766
mycide · Mon Oct 09, 2017 01:48 PM UTC · #37767
x11 is mining pretty much helium, as is.
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:04 PM UTC · #37768
if the mining efficiency goes down is that prohashing efficiency or my miner?
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:07 PM UTC · #37769
guys question, on my miner page, what does HW 12 mean?
Forum notification · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:12 PM UTC · #37771
has started a new topic:
L3 HW Aura89 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:32 PM UTC · #37773
@TheoD914 : Mining efficiency can co down either due to your machine or because of the service having issues (specific coins, prohashing, etc.) or a combination of it all.
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:33 PM UTC · #37774
ok any explanation on the change under the HW sector ? maybe i need to update the firmware or something no?
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:33 PM UTC · #37775
I see now prohashing MH/s is 600+
Aura89 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:34 PM UTC · #37776
@TheoD914 : That was sorta answered in your thread, however its normal to have a few HW errors, i have had 14 in two boards of my ASIC in 3 days, nothing to worry about. Start worrying if they get to be a lot.
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:36 PM UTC · #37777
prohash also disabled the electricity cost, is it because of its accuracy or what?
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:36 PM UTC · #37778
thanks Aura didnt check it =D
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 02:37 PM UTC · #37779
is there anyway to fix those HW errors?

@TraderSP how long have you had your rig for?
PanaceaIV · Mon Oct 09, 2017 03:03 PM UTC · #37782
Did we lose the power calculations tab today? It is missing...
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 03:05 PM UTC · #37783
how accurate was that power calculations tab?
PanaceaIV · Mon Oct 09, 2017 03:07 PM UTC · #37784
it was not very accutate.. But you were able to adjust the number to get it to reflect your actual power consumption... most people over clock their machines so calculations kinda go out the window..
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 03:07 PM UTC · #37785
by adjusting did you mean by entering the kW/h price ?
PanaceaIV · Mon Oct 09, 2017 03:08 PM UTC · #37786
correct.... I adjusted the KWH to mactch what I was reading on a meter....
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 03:08 PM UTC · #37787
ah ok so i did that thanks for the feedback
Aura89 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 03:14 PM UTC · #37788
@TheoD914 : Other then give it better cooling and lower the frequency (aka lowering your hashrate), not likely. If it’s doing a lot, which yours isn’t, and if it were in warranty still, then you could possibly contact bitmain. But again, HW errors are normal. Excessive HW errors is not.
TheoD914 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 03:18 PM UTC · #37789
alright the ambiance temperature is really nice and cold, ill let it run today at the same routine as it was the last 2 days and see what happens thanks for th ehelp

so should I be looking at other pools
PanaceaIV · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:27 PM UTC · #37802
not hash rates.. log out of your account and then look at number of miners chart
dog1965 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:28 PM UTC · #37803
@PanaceaIV : oh my bad sorry.
PanaceaIV · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:29 PM UTC · #37804
I really can’t answer that... changing pools would be your choice ( I’m here but that shouldn’t count for much!))
dog1965 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:30 PM UTC · #37805
@PanaceaIV : you dont have to log out just go to charts and look at connected workers on left side of screen.
PanaceaIV · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:30 PM UTC · #37806

@PanaceaIV : thats true if I had to pay I would not be mining at all.
Jules9 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:33 PM UTC · #37810
I think it is about 40 per machine a month for electric
dog1965 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #37811

PanaceaIV · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:34 PM UTC · #37814

dog1965 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:35 PM UTC · #37817

dog1965 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:37 PM UTC · #37823
@Jules9 : ny=new york state NYC=new york city

here are NYC electric rates
dog1965 · Mon Oct 09, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #37826
Con Edison’s residential prices are the highest charged by any major US utility — and that’s OK with the state of New York. Con Ed charged its electrical customers an average 26.99 cents for a kilowatt hour of electricity in 2013 — more than double the national average of 12.12 cents, new federal data show.Mar 7, 2015

I have not used gdax... but it can be fee free if you work it right.... It is owned by Coinbase so if you have a coinbase account your username and password are the same.... I was just interested in trading some Litecoin and turning them into Bitcoin..

3Moose · Mon Oct 09, 2017 06:45 PM UTC · #37857
I’m confused.... do we get paid more for find blocks? I thought I read "no" and my payouts don’t seem to increase when I do. If that is the case, then why is botting bad? Also - it appears Steve was encouraging botting last year. I am confused.
