do your miners go idle at some times?

Steve Sokolowski · · #28105

some people connect to the pool and then never submit shares, and then come back later

hashingpro · · #28106

like into a sleep mode or?

hashingpro · · #28107

yeah it gets stuck in that calculating shares

hashingpro · · #28108

and never changes coins the $ profit value stales and never moves again

hashingpro · · #28109

i sat there for 30 mins watching 8 miners conencted making 0 money

hashingpro · · #28110

and was like this has to get corrected the next day...well no cause no work was done to get credited

hashingpro · · #28111

but the pool is also holding us hsotage

hashingpro · · #28112

it wont kill the connection to go to a failover it just stays at calculating hashrate

hashingpro · · #28113

i could be wrong, check with others, but is it everytime we see the stales, its on the BCC network that dies?

Steve Sokolowski · · #28114

I created a fix for this one that might or might not work, since I can’t reproduce it

hashingpro · · #28115

i dont remember ever getting stuck on stales on LTCs or FLORINs or anything else that pops up a lot, the crashout seems to happen mostly on bitconnect coins

Steve Sokolowski · · #28116

in about three hours, I’ll ask Chris to release it

hashingpro · · #28117

is there any kind of check for like 2X past a coins expected time to flush it and recaululate it?

hashingpro · · #28118

cool at least will give me something to test for tonight to compare on the setups.

stugots2 · · #28119

the number at the top of this page Scrypt says 3.16 cents is that per MH per 24 hours??

dsldsl999 · · #28120

My L3s are enjoying the cool weather

dsldsl999 · · #28121

yes

dsldsl999 · · #28122

but that changes

dsldsl999 · · #28123

it will probably average out at 4.x cents for the day

stugots2 · · #28124

when are we gonna see 10+ lol

hashingpro · · #28125

yeah stu there is no current 24-hour to date profit for this page

hashingpro · · #28126

you can check what they made yesterday per 1MH expected payouts

stugots2 · · #28127

maybe Steve can get some things corrected

hashingpro · · #28128

and the current value, but not a running per last 24-hour to compare

hashingpro · · #28129

which is normal, when you see NH and click their payout for that day, no telling what you will end up getting by the end of that day, their price menu is also for that current time without any other indicators.

hashingpro · · #28130

Id be more interested in them pulling some numbers apart into groups, solo mining, pool miners, auto switchers

hashingpro · · #28131

id like to see how those payouts and percents stack up

sawczyszyn2554 · · #28132

hey friends

InGeM · · #28133

I am solo mining BCC and everything seems normal but my miner also says "Calculating Hashrate"

sawczyszyn2554 · · #28134

hey... i have a question my friends

sawczyszyn2554 · · #28135

how many MH/s is 1GH/s?

InGeM · · #28136

1000 MH/s

InGeM · · #28137

1GH = 1,000 MH

BitterCondition · · #28138

Steve did Chris get to my ticket yet ref no AUR payments for 9/14 and 9/15?

GregoryGHarding · · #28139

1024*

BitterCondition · · #28140

he messaged me this am but it’s still hanging out there :)

50ShadesOfCrypto · · #28141

So has the price gone up from the 12.00 I was getting? on 500mh/s?

coinergy · · #28142

payout

GregoryGHarding · · #28143

looks like D3’s came online

GregoryGHarding · · #28144

4.4 TH/s

hashingpro · · #28145

greg u missed a funny one earlier, someone was hoping to still be making 2500 on a D3 in december.

GregoryGHarding · · #28146

yeah....no.. if you didnt make it in, in the first two batches, youre sol

stugots2 · · #28147

no way not 2500 BUt the theory is Bitmain does run these things so when they ship the diff does not always spike like crazy since its well the same as it was lol

Steve Sokolowski · · #28150

Chris to restart in about an hour to try a fix to prevent miners from going offline over time

50ShadesOfCrypto · · #28151

argh....

yeominer · · #28152

@ Steve Sokolowski can you pls check if you received my PM? msg says sent but not showing in sent folder only in outbox

JustAnotherPLT · · #28153

Hash is way down again! 90% of 450. Can we restart the network already. This is becoming frustrating.

Forum notification · · #28154

has started a new topic: Worker ID and Password

50ShadesOfCrypto · · #28155

Hey PLT.. hope all is well. This is why I moved to another pool... As far as I can look back there have been issues with pro hashing just not being consistent. No bueno at all. I would prefer to use them with lower fees and all but I need to have uptime.

JustAnotherPLT · · #28156

It’s too bad, I like this set up, lots of good information displayed regarding our miners and the pool.

sawczyszyn2554 · · #28157

How much do D3s make a day if they have 15GH/s...?

sawczyszyn2554 · · #28158

Excuse my noobness lol

tumbolia · · #28159

was it me or did PH just drop off the map with no comms? Stuck at "No valid shares". Switching to NH. New to this and this seems weird to have such instability

tumbolia · · #28160

adios PH

tumbolia · · #28161

I’ll try another time cause I love the dashboards but I can’t get ROI like this

JustAnotherPLT · · #28162

They reset servers twice a day now due to glitches. They are trying to figure it out but until then it’s the best solution to just reboot everything. You probably just experienced it about an hour ago.

50ShadesOfCrypto · · #28163

Sadly I agree. I loved the idea and the hype! Being new to this I thought it was going to kill nice hash and alike... sadly things are down quite often. No time for that...

GregoryGHarding · · #28164

@tumbolia :  they announced a reboot to fix miner disconnects

JustAnotherPLT · · #28165

Well I’m not a fan of it going down either but the way I look at it, my miners is aways working, either here or somewhere else for the backup, so it’s still making money.

GregoryGHarding · · #28168

you guys really need to setup backup pools, dont depend on pool uptime for your ROI, its no ones fault your miners arent working except your own. you NEED backups

JustAnotherPLT · · #28170

Alright, how was everyones numbers tonight?

JustAnotherPLT · · #28171

Made .12 more than yesterday.

dog1965 · · #28172

ah $2.00 usd more than I am soppose to make cant complain.

dog1965 · · #28173

Now if they can keep server running at high hash rate without restarting it all the time that would be nice.

dog1965 · · #28174

@ GregoryGHarding you sound like donald trump.

Brandonloves2fly · · #28175

88% efficiency since server reboot. Ouch! I was at 97% before.

Forum notification · · #28176

has started a new topic: Difficulty and returns

GregoryGHarding · · #28177

@dog1965 :  what exactly is that supposed to mean?

tumbolia · · #28178

@GregoryGHarding :  Thanks! I see that after reading through. Makes sense. Took a new look at backup pools and made sure I hop and keep mining when a drop happens. Any-coin payout is a cool feature I hope to leverage as I grow miners so I’m def not quitting. I was cranky earlier.

kleissen86 · · #28179

If i put m=solo on the password how do I make sure im doing solo mining

GregoryGHarding · · #28180

it will say your mining mode in your worker on your earnings page

kleissen86 · · #28181

it still says pps am i doing something wrong?

kleissen86 · · #28182

n=kleissen86.001 m=solo

kleissen86 · · #28183

nvm i think i found it Solo mode cannot be used without the "c=" argument and therefore is ignored.

nextkoala · · #28184

someone knows when payout time at ltc is?

hashingpro · · #28185

most i think is 3 or 4 am, so however long from then

burgerbisquit · · #28186

Hi, can someone tell me, is there any difference in profit on PH between stock speed l3+ and l3+ overclocked, say, +10%? ’cause I can’t see any.

hashingpro · · #28187

depends if your 10% overclock is making errors

burgerbisquit · · #28188

Not that many errors, not hundreds per hour, maybe tenths. I mean, that speed in live worker status always shows some magic numbers not corellating with real mh/s in miner interface.

JustAnotherPLT · · #28189

84% on 504 right now.... I wonder if there is something on our end that could fix this. I’m ok with running in 90’s but 84%...?

hashingpro · · #28190

theres a good way to get close to 100 percent

hashingpro · · #28191

just mine 1 coin...but then you get lower profits

JustAnotherPLT · · #28192

Haha, well then that’s not the solution as we are all here for profits.

JustAnotherPLT · · #28193

3am Florida time, why you up?

hashingpro · · #28194

im always up

hashingpro · · #28195

work all night...sleep all day

JustAnotherPLT · · #28196

My life as well.

hashingpro · · #28197

did you mine here yesterday?

JustAnotherPLT · · #28198

Yup

hashingpro · · #28199

expected for the full day auto swaping was 22.50

hashingpro · · #28200

get close to that?

JustAnotherPLT · · #28201

Total earning was 19.88

hashingpro · · #28202

were servers off for a bit early in the am for an hour?

JustAnotherPLT · · #28203

I don’t believe so no, only swapped to NH for less than 10 minutes total.

JustAnotherPLT · · #28204

You not use PH yesterday?

bluelemonadecrypto · · #28205

mined at mining-dutch.nl yesterday - USD30.40c per L4+ on scrypt pool

hashingpro · · #28206

i test around still

bluelemonadecrypto · · #28207

and that was only 23 hours mining out of 24, pointed here for 1 hour

JustAnotherPLT · · #28208

I’m giving this one more day and then swapping to compare.
