I had to stop using PH today, even the hashrate on the charts looked bad despite my diff-adjstment. I have a ping of around 120 ms to the server and 10% stale or more
I think the periods of high load might not always be caused by coin assignment, and might instead have something to do with lots of miners connecting simultaneously
hmm, maybe you can fine-tune your algo more. When i saw it correctly my miners were on lowdiff-mining a lot and i saw around 200 of the 500 Mhashes on your chart. That is below 50% of their power.
lots of miners connecting simultaneously!!?? humm from my experience using mmr and nicehash.. nicehash rentals @ 100ghash and over seems to fly smoothly with a little hiccup.. nicehash likes high ballers?? but using miningrentals at the same speed seems to hiccup a lot
if the numbers you put on the frontsite are after fees steve and you have your miners lose 30% of their income for 5+ days in a row you might wanna look into that
I made 33$ with 256Mhs in early July here so each of your L3+ should make 66.... you see the little problem... hahahaha I am done mining here or elsewhere.... I have crazy trading bots costing more than an L3+ now see you!
September 2 with 1 GH/s i should have earned 89$ .. i earned 75$ September 1 with 1 GH/s i should have earned 101$ i earned 86$ August 31 with 1 GH/s i should have earned 88$ i earned 76$ August 30 with 1 GH/s i should have earned 96$ i earned 79$
$ profitability is not the correct way to look at mining..... you must hash in the dark a small valuelless coin until it moon... mining the big coins is useless.... and their flashing numbers doesnt mean anything when so many shares are stale or you wait 30 seconds each minutes for the merged... its pure fantasy numbers that have no ground in my reality.....
the performance issues are somewhat frustrating ....mainly because everyone here wants PH to succeed so that we can also succeed. But its out of our control and all we can do is hope Steve and Chris can work this out before they get fed up with it and we lose another great pool. While we all express our frustrations here ...I believe we are united in our support for Steve and Chris and are all willing to help if we can. Thank You
man. 13 dollar profit so far. was 25-28 last night at this time. I am done with PH for now. I am bleeding money. a shame because I really love the different coin payouts
im not actually connected in, it connects to get 1 hash then gets booted off, the numbers at the top, like 7 L3+s, should be 3.5GH, instead its like 48 megahashs.
so if the issue is when the workers connect they arent getting assigned coins then setting a static coin should fix that issue and let me in. But it still doesn't. So maybe something else?
so are the worker shares caches also? I connect a miner and instead of 500 all it ever shows is 393. But If I give that miner a new worker name and restart it, the new worker has a shot at starting out at 490 and staying there the whole time. if shares are based on THOSE numbers, can I just keep rebooting the lowest ones with a new miner name until they all reach a nice hash mark?
