merged mining/PPS scandal with forfeits I mean
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 03:50 AM UTC · #26297
I really would like to see the payouts for type seperated in a report somewhere for me for lots of reasons
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 03:51 AM UTC · #26299
I was already in correspndance with them before the scandal saying there was one than one thing that did not add up, but my concerns were rejected
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 03:52 AM UTC · #26300
and then they admit that they are losing a mill a year in "bugs"
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 03:52 AM UTC · #26301
and I am thinking that "bugs" don’t discriminate by which side of the server they working for
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 03:53 AM UTC · #26304
sorry, msg before I was talking to them about more than one thing that did not add up
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 03:59 AM UTC · #26305
hhhhmmm is this good profit in litecoin for one day just one l3+ 0.37787302
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:00 AM UTC · #26307
litecoinpool calculator is pretty accurate and they for 2.2 GH 1.5LTC a day, so that is almost exactly as expected
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:00 AM UTC · #26309
I am slightly overclocked and get 2.2GH across 4 L3+
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #26310
if that is all you are getting here you would be better there as they never go down
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #26312
I wish i had 4 l3+ not enough power service in my appartment 120vac 20 amp
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:01 AM UTC · #26313
extra 2% and no fees is because of merged mining profits
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:02 AM UTC · #26314
I have had to sacrifice a room in the house for noise and heat and currently we can’t run the dishwasher and washing machine at the same time...
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:02 AM UTC · #26315
I dont have to pay electric nyc housing app.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:03 AM UTC · #26317
our electricty is very expensive - takes 10-15% of profits
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:03 AM UTC · #26318
so I try to overclock enough enought to cover that
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:03 AM UTC · #26319
I know I had that they nedd to make 8 nm super low power chips
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:04 AM UTC · #26322
so you are ok until...it gets hot out and you need fans to cool it all
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:04 AM UTC · #26323
POW is bullshit, I can see it dying or a modified arrangement emerging
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:04 AM UTC · #26325
trying to get a server room to put them in, most are not that keen
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:05 AM UTC · #26326
yes as soon as my wife turns on the other two air condituioners the main 50 amp breaker trips.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:05 AM UTC · #26327
ha, there you go, luckily we have 240V
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:05 AM UTC · #26328
you are venting the exhaust outside?
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:07 AM UTC · #26329
your so lucky I monitor my load through a tripp lite battery back up so I can see my loads levels and house voltage.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:07 AM UTC · #26331
OK, so I have just done my numbers on the last 24 hours mining and I am calling total BS onthe forfeit thing
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:08 AM UTC · #26332
even with 2.4 hours down, I got the same (more actually) coin rewards on the same coin I was solo minign 3 days ago and the diff is up on what it was
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:08 AM UTC · #26333
and because I solo mine, all rewards from merge go onto the same one coin, so it is easy to compare
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:08 AM UTC · #26334
I can mine for 45 minutes if my electric goes out.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:09 AM UTC · #26335
just number of coins for 24 hr period
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:09 AM UTC · #26336
I really bought it because the fuse keeps tripping i dont have to restart.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:09 AM UTC · #26337
so until I see some more detail I am calling TOTAL BULLSHIT on the we paid too much crap
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:09 AM UTC · #26338
i guess they are just very dishonest then here blue and you shouldnt trust them with your mining hash power.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:10 AM UTC · #26339
no, I am not convinced they know what is going on, they admitted they "think" they are losing 1 mill a year to bugs
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:10 AM UTC · #26343
no they ALLOTTED 1 mill in their anual budget
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:11 AM UTC · #26345
who prohash or nicehashg ?
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:12 AM UTC · #26349
I don;t knwo if they are dishonest or not, I don’t think so, but they are definately not in a position to know exactly what is going on
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:12 AM UTC · #26350
profits are sinking you noticed.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:12 AM UTC · #26351
that is to be expected as more hash competes for the same market, if the growth in hash exceeds the growth in market then profits will go down, that is natural
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:13 AM UTC · #26352
As to ramifications, there should be none on any customers because no payouts were changed. For us, in our estimates for determining whether to proceed or not, our spreadsheet estimates that we average about $1m/yr in losses due to bugs at present, and this is right in line with that total, so it's already factored in.
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:13 AM UTC · #26353
thats true everybody is jumping on the wagon . us small guys are being pushed out.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:13 AM UTC · #26354
I would think that in the short term there is a lot more potential for ghrowth in market than growth in hash - easier to get more people into cryptos than build more machines
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:14 AM UTC · #26355
penetration of crypto into the masses has only just started
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:14 AM UTC · #26356
I have sen some scary things, went to a BTC meetup here in my city the other day
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:14 AM UTC · #26357
is there weed coin I can use some ?
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:14 AM UTC · #26358
the people selling the shovels dont care if you are new old, a pro or a newbie, your money is all the same to them.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:15 AM UTC · #26359
old people who could not even install an app on their phone basically saying, "I have got a heap of money, give me some bitcoin"
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:15 AM UTC · #26361
most of them did not even know what an altcoin is
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:15 AM UTC · #26363
and myself I have a freshly packed bowl of OG 13
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:16 AM UTC · #26367
but they pay way, weay better than cryptos, this is just a hobby to apy for the next Euro holidy with my wife
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:16 AM UTC · #26368
if the market ever turns around...hoping this to be my day job
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:16 AM UTC · #26369
how about oxycodo coins.
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:17 AM UTC · #26371
somewhere.....over the rainbow....
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:17 AM UTC · #26373
I just ask because our power costs here are extreme
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:18 AM UTC · #26376
I am thinking to get 12 L3+ and cheap room in Thailand where the power is cheap (free with the room as well)
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:18 AM UTC · #26377
I am in the east cost also.
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:18 AM UTC · #26378
i never let my hardware out of my control
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:18 AM UTC · #26379
I could live there on such an arrangement until the profits went to a third of today
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:18 AM UTC · #26380
send me your miners ill run them in a room for ya.
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:18 AM UTC · #26382
so many people have made that offer...
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:18 AM UTC · #26383
ill even pay for the electricty and toss the hashes on my acocunt while at it
bluelemonadecrypto · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:19 AM UTC · #26384
the hshing is a fungible thing that is effectively untraceable, that is why there is openings for unscrupulous pool operators
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:20 AM UTC · #26387
there you go start your own server pool.
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:20 AM UTC · #26388
I have the speed to do it.
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:21 AM UTC · #26389
but then again do I want to sacrifice a $3000 dollar pc for this shit.
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:22 AM UTC · #26390
its fast enough trust me.
dog1965 · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:22 AM UTC · #26391
I have a fios connection.
hashingpro · Sat Sep 16, 2017 04:22 AM UTC · #26394
and upgrade to keep the new coins you add on the drives
