Some miners have unreasonably low luck. While all miners can have streaks of poor luck in finding blocks, some mining rigs are so unlucky that the number of blocks they submit to the pool are far fewer than what would otherwise be expected. These miners exhibit characteristics that allow Prohashing to identify them as "unreasonably low luck miners."
It isn’t clear why some mining rigs exhibit low luck, although it has been suggested in some forums that the low luck results from cloud hashing services that rent out miners from owners who use buggy software. Therefore, the victim of low-luck miners often has no idea that the hashrate he is renting is providing less mining power than what he is paying for. Be careful to only rent miners from reputable cloud mining services and look twice if the price seems too good to be true.
The balances of low-luck miners earned during the previous day are forfeit and credited to the remaining miners as "socialized losses." The odds of a false-positive forfeiture are estimated to be around 1 in 10,000, which means that normal miners would expect to forfeit one day’s earnings in 30 years of mining, whereas low-luck miners will often find themselves forfeiting balances on consecutive days. If the low-luck algorithm issues a forfeiture against your account, E-Mail Chris and he can assist in tuning your miners so that the problem is resolved quickly.
what hey are saying is the shares submitted don’t line up with reasonably expected block finds then maybe the shares are not genuine, or maybe some genuine mixed with some non genuine
so in that case that miner is deemed to be gaming the system by submitting a significant portiono of shares that are not actually even calculated (or similar) do not doing work so not getting reqrded
something has been a little off here for at least a few days, was still trying to work it out today so rented some NH hash power to test out some theories
but as a result of this I encountered some irregularities that don’t add up - could just my understanding of the way a few things worked with that coin, still working thru it today
@bluelemonadecrypto : I have two L3+ Probably I'm not Unluky but dont like this forfait policy, if you have bad Hardware its your fault, no earning for you i'm sorry..
if so inclined you might be able to double or triple your return from hash selling it on because you don’t care about finding blocks if you just renting straight hash power
they get paid, you don’t find blocks and don’t get coins, or you get shares in PPS that you don;t deserve because your guesses were only partially valid
The balances of low-luck miners earned during the previous day are forfeit and credited to the remaining miners as "socialized losses." Any 1 got it ???
yes - if you have been claiming share but noit finding blocks then it is construed that your hashing is not real hashing but just random number submitted to get shares for no real work done
Guys if your new here or not...There was some sort of system failure that caused the forfeits...Its not designed this way like some are saying...Thats ridiculous
