site down, then up, miners on then off. SS DD.

hashingpro · · #21060

afk to take my sleepy time medicine

mycide · · #21061

someone is working on servers getting active errors loading.

hashingpro · · #21062

my L3s are connecting spordically for a few secs then defaulting over to DEAD and moving to 2nd pools.

mycide · · #21063

yep same

hashingpro · · #21064

if it was everyone we would all understand and wait, but 4800 workers are hashing away while we cant even connect in, its frustrating.

mycide · · #21065

idd

mycide · · #21066

problem is isolated to few users. and it seem to rotate around to differnet ones.

hashingpro · · #21067

@mycide those are mutually exclusive actually. Like Military intelligence or Jumbo Shrimp.

hashingpro · · #21068

if the problem was isolated it WOULDNT move around to DIFFERENT people, it would be the same group over and over.

hashingpro · · #21069

but I know what you meant.

CANNOT CONNECT /// 2nd DAY M.A.T Excalibur Monster => Multipools Digibyte CIAO /// Please pay me my 450 000 MarxCoin the ceremony pump is about to begin for Oktober Red

pilottage · · #21072

worker appear in my account .... but it seems no shares are sent or received.... I slightly modified the Diif from 32064 to 32 and PH see it.... so its not a connectivity or error on my side... as the worker is recognized.... but it seems YOU are unable to send me Work... all setting s the same since month... and it happens since yesterdayy 00:00 GMT do you r homework our setting and worker are in perfect shape.....

pilottage · · #21073

Again I did it several times as test changed from 32064 to 32068 it is senn by PH instantly on the click....in milliseconds the change of diff is seen and worker online... NO WORK is sent....... it is consequently 100% your fault 0% mine.....

djole · · #21074

wow ONLY 6.4c per MH

mmfiore · · #21075

I still cant connect in as well

djole · · #21076

what’s going on?

mmfiore · · #21077

If they cant get this fixed someone else is going to make a pool like this and the brothers will be out of business.

djole · · #21078

They are frivolous... like a kid when play with toy

djole · · #21079

pool reached maximum number of possible users

djole · · #21080

eheeeeej... are you sleeping guys?

djole · · #21081

only 5.85c per MH

djole · · #21082

Hej Steve what’s happen with our pool?

djole · · #21083

New miners can’t register any more

djole · · #21084

Price for scrip is 5.75c per MH

djole · · #21085

People can’t connect their miners from some reasons

djole · · #21086

Are we falling all together with our pool?

djole · · #21087

But Steve, just don’t say Chris is working very hard... please

djole · · #21088

Be concise and explain people what’s happen

mmfiore · · #21089

how much does this pool charge for fee?

fugju · · #21090

Look at the pool FAQ...

mmfiore · · #21091

these guys are making between 5000 and 10000 a day. It seems that they should be able to afford one good full time programmer to get this site working properly. They are making 5 percent a day.

mmfiore · · #21092

Thats a lot of money

fugju · · #21093

lol, no

fugju · · #21094

this can only say somebody without knowing about the running costs and that this profitability will not be for ever...

fugju · · #21095

you need an full bag to run this service in bad times

fugju · · #21096

dont think like an american... the american way of bussiness is not future safe. they go all in and closing fast or get rich... this way can go everyone. Longterm service is the hard thing

biscayne · · #21097

mmfiore wrote: If they cant get this fixed someone else is going to make a pool like this and the brothers will be out of business.
is already work in progress

mmfiore · · #21098

ah I have been on this site for years and there bag is really full by now. How much could there expeses be? certainly not more than a thousand a day. I doubt if its even that. More likely much much less.

mmfiore · · #21099

they are two guys with no employees working on it part time. Where are the expenses.

mmfiore · · #21100

enlighten me what are the running costs of this site?

exitoglobal · · #21101

The Scrypt profit is over 11c.

MglMogul9 · · #21102

My miner been running all night without going to backup pool. I checked and it says PH pool is alive but lastshare time was 7 hours ago? wth is going on. Did i just run my antminer 7 hours for nothing?

mmfiore · · #21103

They need to reboot or something, This is ridiculous. People are losing money left and right

djole · · #21104

around 10000 a day, see Total miner earnigns

mmfiore · · #21105

What is 10000 a day? Is that what the brothers earn? I computed 7500 just for yesterday.

FRISKIE · · #21106

I am amazed you guys stay here, it’s like highest level of masochism :)

FRISKIE · · #21107

I did it too though, and stayed for months, way longer than I should have.

FRISKIE · · #21108

You guys will all eventually realize what I did, the brothers are lying and making excuses about the money, costs of operation etc. - the hard fact is that they put in time on the side, in between what they consider "real life" , Steve makes horrible business decisions, then makes it even worse by endlessly defending and justifying those bad decisions.

FRISKIE · · #21109

And week after week, month after month, nothing ever changes in terms of system stability, same shitty service, same ignoring the community, same arrogance . . same on and on

FRISKIE · · #21110

That’s just my words to the wise of you, and I only come here once a week maybe, to look how things are going, see if by some miracle they managed to make some improvements, but no . . still a mess, anyway . see you guys in another week or 2, assuming you didnt get wise and move to a stable pool in the meantime :)

mmfiore · · #21111

There is someting not right here for sure. I cannot imagine the cost to run this pool is more than a hundred dollars a day.

mmfiore · · #21112

I am not mining here at the moment as well Cant get the miners to connect. I am at NH and it runs like clockwork.

AvPro · · #21113

@mmfiore :  eh? Exchange tx fees and withdraw fees probabky well over that alone ;]

djole · · #21114

@ FRISKIE which pool you use?

mmfiore · · #21115

I like you keep hoping that this pool gets it together. But week after week no luck.

djole · · #21116

yea, day after day and week after week worse and worse

mmfiore · · #21117

exchange fees are taken out of coins that are generated. They don’t pay anything. and those fees are miniscule.

mmfiore · · #21118

Those fees are being passed to us

mmfiore · · #21119

I am looking into starting a pool like this one only difference being that the backend will work properly and not take a dump over all the users.

mmfiore · · #21120

I would be happy hear if this pool would work reliably but they cant seem to make that happen.

djole · · #21121

everybody be happy

djole · · #21122

but they don’t care for us miners

mmfiore · · #21123

good advice in general

mycide · · #21124

machines kicked off again??

mmfiore · · #21125

I am having doing research into whether I can build an equivalent site that works for all of us. If I can do it I will take care of the miners and drop the fee in half. I will also make sure that the pool runs reliably. We must realize that we are all in this together. If the pool does well then we also do well.

mmfiore · · #21126

I have tried to help the brothers because if they succeed we succeed.

mmfiore · · #21127

But I have a ticket in several days now and nothing gets fixed. There has got to be something done to make it better.

mmfiore · · #21128

I am so frustrated by this I am actually considering making my own pool so that I can mine with confidence that my miners will yield maximum profit. That is what we all want.

MglMogul9 · · #21129

yup. but doing all these for two part time ppl like these two is hard. there has to be at least one full time person on this.

mycide · · #21130

im feeling the frustration aswell..

mycide · · #21131

mmfiore you think you got the knowhow to fix with coding/programming part? if i did i would have started one already ^^

Darklyspectre · · #21132

It’s pretty obvious that they don’t want any help tbh

mycide · · #21133

i did some HTML back in mid 90’s and then some coding on LPC (for MUD game) but never continued past my teens.

mycide · · #21134

i bet this is more then a little more complicated ;)

MglMogul9 · · #21135

you would have to have deep understand on php, html5, javascript as well as networking background. this isn’t easy.

mmfiore · · #21136

I personally don’t have the knowledge but I know people who do and one of them is a very good friend of mine. He is very honest and a real hard worker. He is the best programmer I have ever known and I have known many. I have asked my friend to look into this problem and see if we can do better.

mycide · · #21137

if you think your friend is up for it, go for it, but it would be a lot of work for him.

mmfiore · · #21138

We need a good working reliable and profitable pool. If it can be done I will pay to build it.

mycide · · #21139

you must have an army of machines eager to profit? :)

mycide · · #21140

but i agree we really do..

mycide · · #21141

i would be interested in helping if you make reality of it.

mycide · · #21142

not that i be much good for that coding part.

mycide · · #21143

i mean the site will earn its own upkeep, i, you we, dont need to make a ton of money of the pool, we got the machines for that, but i think even if its a joint venture, handfull of miners pile together and chip in, share costs til its under way. then cash as time and pool profit allows it to get investment back.

mycide · · #21144

the big but is that key person, that can code and can do it while he sleeps preferably. and once we got him, we need to chain him to the computer.

djole · · #21145

I am also ready to help

mmfiore · · #21146

Well going joint is something I had not considered. I will think about it. Its a neat idea as it would be a miners pool for miners. I just feel funny about asking for money. I was hoping that if I can afford to do it we could all start mining there.

djole · · #21147

at which time this pool operate?

djole · · #21148

which time zone?

mmfiore · · #21149

I will have to see what the cost is. If it is not to bad I will burden the risk. What I want is to help us all do well. In my philosophy there is no US and THEM. There is just US together.

mmfiore · · #21150

I am not sure if there we a pool yet but if there is a pool built it will be either on the east coast or in Europe.

mmfiore · · #21151

Will be a pool yet

djole · · #21152

does anybody know in which time zone is this pool?

djole · · #21153

when is daily intersection?

mmfiore · · #21154

the site domain is registered in Pennsylvania and the brothers are from Pennsylvania. I am guessing that the pool is somewhere on the east coast.

FRISKIE · · #21155

Ok guys, I am a hosting engineer, and happy to work with you on all the infrastructure, VM setups and hardening, clustering, etc. - so yeah, count me in

djole · · #21156

Yea I found: Balances mature every day at 12:00AM ET.

mmfiore · · #21157

the site is physically located in Chicago

mmfiore · · #21158

okay friskie thanks
