@dog, crazy that your miner is bringing in so much, seems like something must be off
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:43 PM UTC · #35223
when you can use the diff d=2048
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:44 PM UTC · #35224
@hashingpro : why would you want to rat when you can use d=2048 as well.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:44 PM UTC · #35225
why would we be greedy people and keep secrets to ourselves?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:45 PM UTC · #35226
why not share the info so everyone can profit from it?
Harrison · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:45 PM UTC · #35227
Even if I do my accepted hashtags * the average earnings showing, I’m paid FAR less than I should be, somewhere around 60% less than I should be bringing in
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:45 PM UTC · #35228
if it hurts the system it hurts everyone, unless it helps everyone i want no part of it.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:46 PM UTC · #35229
I did d=2048 said it many tgimes.

dog1965 wrote: look at this guys. https://s26.postimg.org/4wnwac98p/prohash.png thats my stats still relatively new to mining, but on 25/10 the avg LTC price was +/-AED48 and on 28/10 +/-AED56, showing a 17% increase in price. Therefore if you mined the exact same coins you did to achieve the results on 25/10, it would’ve yielded you USD21.37 on 28/10 (+17%), but instead you got USD19.36. Is this a fair assessment or am I missing something?
Harrison · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:47 PM UTC · #35233
I feel like our earnings should have a 250% increase to offset the issue and align pay with what it technically should have brought in
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:48 PM UTC · #35234
100% increase maybe, double what its at now at least
Harrison · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:48 PM UTC · #35235
Yeah, and even then it would be extremely low
matthewlane2009 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:48 PM UTC · #35236
this pool has turned into hot garbage the last 6 weeks or so
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:49 PM UTC · #35237
id take within 5-10% vs 50% that it is now
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:49 PM UTC · #35238
@Camey : are you mad at me.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:50 PM UTC · #35239
just use d=2048 and earn the same I am not trying to hurt anyone.
Harrison · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:50 PM UTC · #35240
Yeah, every time I feel like I should wait it out and keep my miners on PH, something else breaks costing me tons in potential earning. The benefits of the chosen payouts, etc. are a huge plus for me, but it’s almost like I have to just switch for consistency purposes and deal with the rest later
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:51 PM UTC · #35241
@Camey : thats why we look at the TOTAL EARNINGS page
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:52 PM UTC · #35242
its not dependant on the coin or the payout, thats what the miner got paid that day for the work it did.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:52 PM UTC · #35243
its not just if LTC goes up or down but all the other scrypt coins tied to them
Camey · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:52 PM UTC · #35244
dog1965 wrote: @Camey : are you mad at me. Not at all, I am just trying to understand whether using d=2048 actually made or lost you money so that I can decide whether to adopt the same methodology.
Alex · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:53 PM UTC · #35245
Off to work again, I feel like tomorrow will be another Christmas where i receive socks!
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:53 PM UTC · #35246
i like socks and underwear, as a kid you dont apprecaite it, as an adult you kinda look forward to them.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:56 PM UTC · #35247
just trying to help but I will back of d= I dont want to piss anybody off.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #35249
no no , if itsa good number and gets the profits use it
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #35250
i just havent tested it so im going to wait until i can
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #35251
I dont want to be unfair to anybody esle.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:57 PM UTC · #35252
in a week or so, have other tests to do first
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:58 PM UTC · #35253
@hashingpro : does it look like its making more ???
Camey · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:00 PM UTC · #35254
@ dog I appreciate it and your comments are helpful. I simply asked a question to get a better understanding
Camey · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:02 PM UTC · #35255
On separate (I know I asked it earlier, but stepped away from ym PC). Does anyone have any knowledge of Vpro Coin?
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:04 PM UTC · #35256
@Camey : okay I dont want to piss no one off just trying to help.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:05 PM UTC · #35257
I guess the d= setting depends on your connection speed latency time all kinds of connection factors as well.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:06 PM UTC · #35258
I have verizon fios 100 MB/s up/100 MB/s down speed
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:07 PM UTC · #35259
hold will try to take snapshot of my miner gui page.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:10 PM UTC · #35260
i just always thought the D= was like going for a job interview to work in a plant and claiming how much weight in boxes you can lift.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:11 PM UTC · #35261
d=131K I can carry 131kg to the top of the steps in 1 haul
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:11 PM UTC · #35262
d=2048 im weak i can only carry 1 lb, ill just make 131 trips
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:11 PM UTC · #35263
and spend a lot of wasted time standing in line waiting to get more work assigned so i can slack off and goof off in line with my friends
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:12 PM UTC · #35264
yes nut you carry 50000 as compared to only 2 bigger ones
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:12 PM UTC · #35265
but spending time in the line waiting for more work each time = CPU too busy to keep up
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:13 PM UTC · #35267
its better for the supervisor to just assigne each person 1 haul to carry, instead of having to deal with 1 person ever 1 second
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:13 PM UTC · #35268
@hashingpro : yes nut you carry 50000 as compared to only 2 bigger ones so how much money ?
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:14 PM UTC · #35269
yes but then he pays you less.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:15 PM UTC · #35270
no cause if you can carry all the weight you get paid for all of it, if you waste too much time in the line, you never made the quota
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:15 PM UTC · #35271
he pays you only what you earned its called peicework in the sheetrock feild they pay by the board when its hard to nail them up.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:15 PM UTC · #35272
right so if you can carry 20 up to to the 3rd floor and fit them all
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:16 PM UTC · #35273
vs carrying 1 at a time up for 20 mins and only getting 10 hung
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:17 PM UTC · #35275
yes but internet is not physical.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:18 PM UTC · #35277
but in a physical sens if I can carry 1 board per seccond ah ?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:18 PM UTC · #35279
since the parelle hasnt gone in yet you have to stand all in 1 line to get the next work. If the forman is busy with 20 ppl ahead of you each time you ask for more work
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:18 PM UTC · #35280
how much time in the line and how much time actually doing work?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:19 PM UTC · #35281
if I have to stand in line waiting on 20 ppl i want work to keep me busy the whole day
Jules9 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:19 PM UTC · #35282
today is ridiculous. what are they saying about problem
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #35283
i dont want to run abck, have to find the foreman, get in line, and wait for the next 5 mins job assignemnt
Jules9 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #35284
5.50 for day 14 hrs is a joke
Jules9 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #35285
what other pools are good
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #35286
a bad, not very funny one either.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:20 PM UTC · #35287
yes but lower diff makes forman pay more attention to you.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:21 PM UTC · #35289
and when has that EVER been a good thing on a job site?
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:21 PM UTC · #35290
at the end of the day you hung more boards then the otherguy.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:22 PM UTC · #35291
whats that, take 20 boards go up to the 5th floor and disappear from site, thank you sir ill get right on that.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:23 PM UTC · #35293
and then stand in line for the time you could have taken 3 more baords waiting to get assigned another board to carry
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:23 PM UTC · #35296
kepp making a pest of yourself to forman by using low diff he will not let you wait.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #35297
ITS A LINE, a QUEUE, you cant cut, you cant jump, friends cant save you a spot
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #35298
you have to go to the end and wait in the queue like everyone in front of you
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:24 PM UTC · #35299
yes but this is internet I see your point though.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:25 PM UTC · #35300
yeah the example only carries over so far.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:25 PM UTC · #35301
but its the waiting for work vs actually doing it that is the missed profit opportunity
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:26 PM UTC · #35303
when parappel goes in, we will have 5 foremen, less waiting in lines
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:26 PM UTC · #35304
more shocked at your fan speeds actually
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:26 PM UTC · #35305
i average 4 shares per second how much shares does d=131072 average ?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:26 PM UTC · #35306
4920 didnt know they could turn that fast
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:27 PM UTC · #35308
yes its hot my air conditioning broke.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:27 PM UTC · #35309
its like 80 degress in my apt.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:27 PM UTC · #35310
i just thought like 4300 or something was their max, never seen them go over that
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:28 PM UTC · #35311
is that the defualt or aftermarket fan?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:29 PM UTC · #35314
also shocked i thought you were overclocking
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:29 PM UTC · #35315
the S('s had a 6000 rpm fan noisy as hell l3's only have 4 there trying to keep it quit.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:30 PM UTC · #35317
but will try when I get the ac fixed.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:31 PM UTC · #35318
I think there high also because I adjusted my power supply dc output to 12,8 v
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 06:33 PM UTC · #35321
I have the rsp-1500-12 look it up great supply. you just have to know how to wire it.
