Ive been running 4 miners with d= and 4 with d=131K for the past day, would you like to see some real tests and data?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:37 PM UTC · #35023
like to know what the current numbers are at?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:38 PM UTC · #35024
I share my data unlike some people....the D=off is currently at 11.51 for 4 miners, the d=131 is at 15.89 for 4 miners.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #35026
27.56% difference in the profits from using a d=131K and not using it
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #35027
optimal diff picker my ass if not set.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #35028
hashingpro wrote: like to know what the current numbers are at? Liar you noticed he never stated d=
Jalapan · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:39 PM UTC · #35030
i have earned 4$ today per L3
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:40 PM UTC · #35033
Jalapan wrote: i have earned 4$ today per L3 well share what you used liar.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #35035
so im showing 2.8775 for no d setting per L3, and 3.9725 for a L3 with D=131K
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #35036
that about what your numbers say Jalapan?
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #35037
@hashingpro : yes d=null you will never say what null is liar.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:41 PM UTC · #35038
maybe someone needs to go look up NULL asshat.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #35039
Null means no setting given
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #35042
ive been telling you the numbers, its not my fault you cant comprehend it
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:42 PM UTC · #35043
@hashingpro : yea your brain nothing lol lol.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #35044
@hashingpro : what numbers d= lol lol lol
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #35045
4 had d=131072, other 4 had no D value set.
Maxiimos · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:43 PM UTC · #35046
dog is too old for this computer stuff
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #35047
anything else I can explain for you? Ill happily post my data up tomorrow
Maxiimos · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #35048
my 131k setting results are the same as yours today hp
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:44 PM UTC · #35049
AFTER I run the test on the other set of machines swapping the settings to verify the settings and rule out any fast or slow machines in the test.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #35050
@hashingpro : did you try lower diffs ??
Jalapan · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #35051
4.8$ with 131k on 2 machines so total 9.7
Maxiimos · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #35052
Jalapan wrote: 4.8$ with 131k on 2 machines so total 9.7 yeah we’re all earning something similar, there’s definitely a problem
Alex · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:45 PM UTC · #35053
@jalapan so for today it was just the n=miner1 etc in the password field (Optimal default dynamic)
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #35055
when i ran the test orignally I tired d= off for 2 miners, and d=32K 64K 131K and 262K
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:46 PM UTC · #35057
262 gave too many stales percents were way off
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #35059
from 32K to 64K to 131K was like 2 or 3 percents from 1 number to the next
Jalapan · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #35060
i wont commit suicide with 2048
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #35061
no any non d= settingis probably close to 131 within 4 points
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #35062
@hashingpro : did you try d=2048
Jalapan · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #35063
131k is the optimal l3 setting, if something is broken its the pool not the diff
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #35064
its the d= off, not setting one that hurts, that value puts it off...28%
Maxiimos · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:47 PM UTC · #35065
yeah I think the 7k "workers" number is definitely wrong
Alex · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #35066
@Jalapan not for today, although I will be going back to it tomorrow
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #35067
having d=2048 or having d=131072 may be just 3 or 4 %differecne
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #35068
but having d=2048 and having no d= seting at all, that alone wouls be close to 20% more
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:48 PM UTC · #35069
ANY D setting so far has been better than NOT setting a D here on the autopool
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:50 PM UTC · #35070
that its off 15-30 percent daily means the auto diff picker if you dont have one set is jacked and not to be used.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:51 PM UTC · #35071
I dont know why its crazy but d=2048 is working yesterday 18.16 cent payout today $10.62 so far with that diff ethernum is my payout coin.
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:51 PM UTC · #35072
opppps, meant dollar lol lol.
Maxiimos · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:51 PM UTC · #35073
thanks for sharing your results hp
Alex · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:51 PM UTC · #35074
I didn’t think it was going to be a good idea thankfully today was so bad it hasnt made too much of a difference
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:52 PM UTC · #35075
dig when you check from 1 day to the next, look at the total earnings green bar graph
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #35077
that gives the money made, so if the coin went up or down, it wont effect that value
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #35078
if as you make the profits the value of the coin goes up you get less, than if the coin value goes down while mining
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:53 PM UTC · #35079
the total earnings number will be a solid static indicator to judge on, it wont move
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #35080
@hashingpro : okay were is that number.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #35081
on earnings under earnings by coin
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #35083
since those are $ values it negates what the coin values are from 1 day to the next
kleissen86 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:54 PM UTC · #35084
anyone knows if the s9 is profitable while mining bitcoin cash? i know it is not worth for btc
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #35085
I am looking at live balances ???
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #35087
the live balances are for all the miners, the earnings page is just yours
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:55 PM UTC · #35088
i thinking live profitilbity on the main chart page
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:56 PM UTC · #35090
under live, is payout by coin, under that total earnings with a green bar graph
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:56 PM UTC · #35091
the electric costs are goffy on that page, i never use them the calc i think is off
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:57 PM UTC · #35092
its says $9.94 with a red bar graph.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:57 PM UTC · #35093
the red is your electric use, if you put in a value on your settings it tries to figure what you are paying
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:57 PM UTC · #35094
for today yesterday said $19.36
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #35095
but i think that calc is broken
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #35096
and thats what you made yesterday
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #35097
before the coin payment fluxed up or down and you received it
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #35099
so using those numbers you have a base unit to compare from 1 day to the next
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:58 PM UTC · #35100
after they took there 5 percent it was less
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #35101
no that payout is what you made
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #35102
your coin fluxed so you got changed
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 04:59 PM UTC · #35103
hold I will give you may payout from yesterday
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:00 PM UTC · #35104
@hashingpro : Ethereum -0.06439173
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:01 PM UTC · #35105
so you mine goldcoin, and you get paid 4$ an hour. Goldcoin costs 4$ first hour, so you get 1 coin that hour.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:01 PM UTC · #35106
23 hours later, goldcoin goes down to $2, but you still make 4$/hour on your L3 so last hour you got 2 coins
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:02 PM UTC · #35107
so in 24 hours you make 25 coins
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:02 PM UTC · #35110
to show you how the price of the coin fluxing effects the coin payout vs daily earnings numbers
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #35111
but you still made 24 hours X 4$ an hour.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #35112
but when you get the 25 coins, and the price dropped to just 2$ per goidcoin
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #35115
I dont know why maybe because I am mining multicoin ?
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:03 PM UTC · #35116
so if the coin drops in price or raises
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:04 PM UTC · #35117
no this happens to everyone
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:04 PM UTC · #35118
if the coin you are mining goes up or down before you get your payout
dog1965 · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:04 PM UTC · #35119
@hashingpro : I agree with you 100 percents no arguments here.
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:04 PM UTC · #35120
the price of the coin when you get the payment X how many you got will NOT equal the daily TOTAL EARNINGS
hashingpro · Fri Sep 29, 2017 05:04 PM UTC · #35121
the flux of the coin you choose effects how much you get paid.
