Nicehash also has a easy to use downloadable inerface which auto starts when computer is idle to maximize your up time

Skarda · · #33120

Does anyone know how quickly a miner switches to the backup pool when the ph goes down?

dopatrick · · #33121

sry new.....i would like to just be able to try this service. where do we download the mining software or how do we use our miners

Maxiimos · · #33122

my L3+ is instantaneous

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33123

hello everyone

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33124

whats shaking

stugots2 · · #33125

5.08 on scrypt right now

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33126

yea, not bad :)

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33127

my miners have been running pretty good

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33128

@Maxiimos :  hey, i got a question you might know

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33129

@Maxiimos :  one of my L3+s after running for nearly a 24 hours... shows some of the boards with XXXXXX's in stead of 0000s

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33130

@sawczyszyn2554 :  this happened like 2 times to me, i reset the miner and they all go to Zeros again and it mines great

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33131

@Maxiimos :  ***

MiningGnome · · #33132

@saw broken asics, check your kerlnel logs for details

MiningGnome · · #33133

@Skarda it depents, pool 1 is checked more often than pool2 or pool3, so if you habe PH as primary pool it shoud switch rpetty quick, within a minute I would say

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33134

@MiningGnome :  bah.. i already rebooted the miner.. will it still show the info in the log?

MiningGnome · · #33135

the problem wirll occur again and the log entries will returnlogs won’t survive resets

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33136

ok, yea i didnt think the log would survive

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33137

ill just wait for the next time it happens... it happened on a miner that is kept pretty cool too, sitting in a room with AC and its only 74'F in here

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33138

thx

stugots2 · · #33139

happened to me THEN 1 board went offline never to return

stugots2 · · #33140

odd because the lights on it work fine, no smell (like from being burnt) just WONT SHOW UP

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33141

humbah ...

MiningGnome · · #33142

@sawczyszyn2554 :  you could open the miner and remove the hashing boards, sometime there are insects and or simply dirt covering the tiny slots

stugots2 · · #33143

oddly it happened after the new Firmware, did you upgrade?

MiningGnome · · #33144

@stugots2 :  check the connection cables between controller and hashing boards, I had such issue mith S9

stugots2 · · #33145

I thought of opening it but doe sthat void warranty?

MiningGnome · · #33146

@stugots2 :  try to disconnect and reconnect all the calbles again (turn off the miner before ;-))

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33147

yea that voids warranty

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33148

ill try the reconnection

MiningGnome · · #33149

not necessary, if hashing board is broken, you can send it in, no need to send the whole miner, at least true for L3+

stugots2 · · #33150

I even swapped the controller from my other L3+ same thing

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33151

really?

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33152

controller?? you mean PSU??

stugots2 · · #33153

wonder why they do that, lol if you ONLY send the board they will never see if it was overclocked lol

stugots2 · · #33154

no i mean controller on top

stugots2 · · #33155

tried PSU as well

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33156

oh i see

MiningGnome · · #33157

even if you send it completely they wont ;-)

stugots2 · · #33158

really??

stugots2 · · #33159

maybe thats why they ask for a screenshot of the config page LOL

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33160

another question..

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33161

my miners are runnign at 100% eff..

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33162

what a good hashrate chart suppose to look like?

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33163

mines pretty choppy

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33164

also, i didnt update any firmware for my L3+s... just plugged them in

stugots2 · · #33165

ohh ok, Hashrate on the miner config page I’d say 498 - 506 is average

stugots2 · · #33166

non overclocked

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33167

i get that. was wonder if the graph was any good indication of how things are running "over time"

stugots2 · · #33168

@MiningGnome how likely do you think the OC had anything to do with this board missing??

stugots2 · · #33169

no if you go by the graph here you’ll drive yourself insane, your running at 504 and here it says 416 LOL

stugots2 · · #33170

but that goes for any pool

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33171

righto

MiningGnome · · #33172

@stugots2 :  don’t understand what you mean...

MiningGnome · · #33173

ah, sorry, now i get it... if you overclock you should expect hardware failure.... or cool extensively ;-)

stugots2 · · #33174

they are VERY VERY cool, portable AC with 18000 BTU blowing right in the fans lol

stugots2 · · #33175

and I watch temps like a MAD MAN, if they stay cool do you think failure will still occure

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33176

how i know what firmware i got currently andwhats the newest?

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33177

@stugots2 :  maybe its just chance... they do make a lot of these miners..

stugots2 · · #33178

they come with the 04/27 firmware

danafarmansyah · · #33179

1 http://prohashing.com:3333/ danafarmansyah Alive 65.5K 3 1 0 18 0 65,536 0 1 0 0 0 Never

danafarmansyah · · #33180

can you pls help me?

danafarmansyah · · #33181

that is the table from my antminer status

stugots2 · · #33182

is it true if I open it and break those stickers i void warranty UNLESS they give permission to open it?

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33183

@stugots2 :  where do i see what firmware though... is there a location? the kernal tell me?

danafarmansyah · · #33184

but when i open Earnings on PH, its shows Live worker status (0)

danafarmansyah · · #33185

No Miner connected.

danafarmansyah · · #33186

hey pls help me :(

stugots2 · · #33196

i HEAR those cause issues with hash boards XXX’ing and not showing

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33197

what does?? the cables?

stugots2 · · #33198

Firmware

stugots2 · · #33199

at first i laughed it off, but now seeing your issue, my issue and a bunch of others with this firmware

stugots2 · · #33200

hmmmm

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33201

oh, hum.. well maybe its the new firmware lol bceause the miner i have that gave me the XXXX is very cool and my other miners are a little warm lol

stugots2 · · #33202

when i contacted bitmain and told em it was after a firmware upgrade (it was 2 days later) they did not seem shocked lol

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33203

@danafarmansyah :  make sure you put in your usename correctly for ProHashing

stugots2 · · #33204

they WILL run cooler . use more power with the Aug 25th firmware cuz the fans run more

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33205

URL should be "prohashing.com:3333"

stugots2 · · #33206

look at fan speed compared to older firmware ones

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33207

WORK should be your username at ProHashing

stugots2 · · #33208

400+ RPM more

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33209

password field can be left blacnk

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33210

@stugots2 :  my fan speed on the cooler unit is only like 3400RPM

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33211

the ones running in 85-90'F ambient air are at 4000rmp

stugots2 · · #33212

hmmm mines at 3940

stugots2 · · #33213

90F?????????????

stugots2 · · #33214

damnnnnnnnnnnnnn

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33215

lol yea i know lol but those chips only showing 60'C....

stugots2 · · #33216

well maybe that norm, im used to my A/C blowing in their mouths lol

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33217

no.. the ROOM is 90'F not the miners

sawczyszyn2554 · · #33218

the miners on the status tab... show 60'C
