Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:23 AM UTC · #33032
I think that will be unlikely, hopefully they will move their servers to a tax haven, register a parent company in Monaco, and invest the savings in new gear
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:24 AM UTC · #33033
yea some fly buy knight country with a 1 kb connection.

Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:25 AM UTC · #33036
I miss the noise of the old dialup
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:26 AM UTC · #33037
people walk around will bullet proof turbines.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:28 AM UTC · #33039
I think if you google it you can still find free dial up isp’s
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:30 AM UTC · #33040
It was much more of a "It worked, look at this low res picture!" rather than ffs its been 20’s and still no movie
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:30 AM UTC · #33041
I have verizon 100 MB/s up and down.
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:31 AM UTC · #33042
I think mine is 76mb max, good enough though
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:31 AM UTC · #33043
was thinking about the 1 GB/s up and down but its alot of money a month.
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:31 AM UTC · #33044
There probably isn’t much need at the moment for the expense
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:32 AM UTC · #33045
@Alex : I know I agree 100 percent not unless your running a pool and need the bandwith.
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:33 AM UTC · #33046
This one might be up for sale soon lol
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:34 AM UTC · #33048

was doing good until it crashed again.
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:36 AM UTC · #33051
When I first setup my miners, I thought backup pool why do you need that, surely no one’s servers go down anymore?
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:37 AM UTC · #33052
hmmm, I though the same thing but now we know why.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:38 AM UTC · #33053
our miners are always connected to a server some were.
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:39 AM UTC · #33054
I’ve been thinking about doing the same with the payouts. I think ETH will increase over the next few months. Probably why Bitmain is producing those G1 and G2 miners
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:39 AM UTC · #33055
the should make nodes this way if one server goes down theres always another.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:40 AM UTC · #33056
just like if you solo mine bitcoin p2pool I can log into anyones pool and see my earnungs.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:41 AM UTC · #33058
peer to peer nodes thats what they should do.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:42 AM UTC · #33059
if one server goes down no big deal the other nodes are still running.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:43 AM UTC · #33060
or at least a back up server that kicks in.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:44 AM UTC · #33061
I am trying to root my kindle fire no progress so far trying to get rid of the amazon os.
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:46 AM UTC · #33062
Yep, alot of the problems here I think are quite small to fix, but you only have really two guys looking after it, who have other jobs, and they have done a really good job, but it is probably time to get some staff to lighten the load.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:49 AM UTC · #33063
@Alex : I agree with you 100 percent.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:53 AM UTC · #33065
the forum server stays up longer than the miner server
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:55 AM UTC · #33067
Within this pool alone there probably is a diverse set of skills they could be utilised to help this site/business move forward.
dog1965 · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:57 AM UTC · #33068
got to go to work catch you guys later.
Alex · Wed Sep 27, 2017 10:58 AM UTC · #33069
Try and have a good day

danafarmansyah · Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:12 AM UTC · #33072
i mine using antminer l3+ but the status is Dead
danafarmansyah · Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:12 AM UTC · #33073
is this the pool error or my antminer?
halan · Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:14 AM UTC · #33074
The pool server is very poor and very slow
mickeekung · Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:14 AM UTC · #33075
danafarmansyah wrote: is this the pool error or my antminer? The pool is down for now. Please wait until admin wakes up and the pool will comeback as normal.
danafarmansyah · Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:14 AM UTC · #33076

biscayne · Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:39 AM UTC · #33082
if you stay here better setup a backup pool
mmfiore · Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:45 AM UTC · #33084

anyone else having problems getting to prohashing.com:3333? It was working fine and now is unreachable.
Morbiduzz · Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:55 AM UTC · #33092
For today NH will be my choice

neurobots wrote: anyone else having problems getting to prohashing.com:3333? It was working fine and now is unreachable. THE POOL IS DOWN. NO ONE CAN CONNECT TO PH RIGHT NOW.
mickeekung · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:13 PM UTC · #33096
Steve is online right now. I think he’ll investigate the problem soon.
mrgoldy · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:16 PM UTC · #33097
he already wrote he's at work, and chris is sleeping, possible 6hrs until pool is up
mrgoldy · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:18 PM UTC · #33098
looks like it's restarting now
Skarda · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:20 PM UTC · #33099
I’d like to set up NH as a backup but cant figure it out. Where does on direct there L3s and where is pool info on NH. argh
mmfiore · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:21 PM UTC · #33101
Can someone explain how Ph is reporting that it is still has people connected when the pool is completely off line. I am beginning to think that some of these stats are bogus.
faceguydb · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:21 PM UTC · #33102
It’s online again. I’m mining on it.
ArjunaX · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:23 PM UTC · #33103
Wow, you can’t even give away Nov batch D3’s lol. They will cost more in electricity than they will make.
mmfiore · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:23 PM UTC · #33104
Yes but an hour ago it was completely offline and still showing 1400 gh/s
Skarda · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:25 PM UTC · #33105
It looks like NH is just selling power, not a pool like PH or litecoinpool. Is this correct?
mmfiore · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:26 PM UTC · #33106
You can also set your miner up for rental and earn a good rate renting out your miner
miele · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:27 PM UTC · #33107
antminer on nicehash: stratum+tcp://x11.eu.nicehash.com:3336 u: <btc wallet>.<workername> pw: x
miele · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:27 PM UTC · #33108
NH is a hash marketplace. You can also buy hash there and point it to prohashing.
Skarda · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:28 PM UTC · #33109
So its not a multipool like PH?
mmfiore · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:29 PM UTC · #33110
X11 is being overwhelmed with asics, people should stop buying the d3
miele · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:29 PM UTC · #33111
for a seller it looks like a multipool.
miele · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:29 PM UTC · #33112
you just point a miner with an algoritm to it and receive BTC
Skarda · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:31 PM UTC · #33113
so if I just want to mine and not rent, should I stay away from nh? or is it as profitable as ph (when running)
miele · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:32 PM UTC · #33114
you can mine (sell) and rent (buy) at nh. Seller profitability is a bit less than PH
Skarda · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:34 PM UTC · #33116
Thanks, it sounds messy but might give it a try as a backup
dopatrick · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:46 PM UTC · #33117
ok not up i click on the link to prohashing.com:3333 and its not found
dopatrick · Wed Sep 27, 2017 12:47 PM UTC · #33118
